Well it’s officially October and way back in the day I promised I’d devote October to the scariest, grossest, most depraved hentai I could find in our coffers. That leaves me with a lot of potential choices, but this year we’re graced with two particularly legendary series, “Night Shift Nurses” and “Princess 69.” I’ll get to the nurses later but I thought I’d start out with the lighter title “Princess 69 – Midnight Gymnastics.”

A little background, “Midnight Gymnastics” is actually a sequel to the original “Princess 69″ episodes and features a slightly different cast, slightly different motives, different art style and an entirely different feel – which is why I’m calling it the lighter title.

Where the original “Princess 69″ focuses around the antics of a coach hell bent on the desire to bring out the ultimate eroticism in a special Midnight Gymnastics team given to him by the directors granddaughter, Tomomi; “Midnight Gymnastics” steams from a young man’s (Fubuki) desire to save stepsister by pretending to be a girl in order to infiltrate the gymnastics team that is at the center of her disappearance.

Now keep in mind that you should never take hentai too seriously or attempt to repeat anything you’ve seen in it before. Seriously, if this stuff was marginally safe or even possible to do with people there wouldn’t be as many dirty cartoons in the world. Examples in this film include body to body lock stepped en pointe ribbon work/ballet moves while fucking, I don’t think the two best dancers alive could manage that but it’s rather pretty to watch and even more erotic to contemplate and would likely cause a broken dick or ankle to try and emulate.

This time around Tomomi offers up more reasoning that in previous episodes. Where the first series makes it look like nothing more than an old pervert’s most fervent dream come true, now Midnight Gymnastics is something that only the rich are in the know about. Still, as Tomomi describes it Midnight Gymnastics isn’t something a proper high bred young lady like her should be interested in at all. Ah well – no one ever accused hentai of making sense.

In no time at all Fubuki is naked and at Tomomi’s complete mercy. After a couple of orgasms, Tomomi insists that Fubuki takes over coaching her Midnight Gymnastics team. Of course Tomomi doesn’t mention that Fubuki will have to attend the school as a girl, or that her real goal is to get Fubuki to recruit Koyuki for the team.

Fubuki seems like a terrible candidate for this, though he quickly relaxes into his female persona, Fubuki doesn’t seem to have a mean or even particularly horny bone in his body. I don’t see how he’s supposed to seduce Koyuki at all. Not so scary at all really, and though there is the shower scene that echo’s back to the original “Princess 69,” this is relatively tame fare in comparison. “Princess 69 – Midnight Gymnastics” gives the characters some depth and even makes an attempt to explain their motives, while still throwing in some scenes of gymnastics related fantasy sex. As hentai goes all in all I’d say it was actually a pretty good OVA not likely to scar or scare anyone, that feels complete on its own. My advice would be to definitely check it out but, uhm, stay away from the original as this sequel isn’t at all indicative of it and that’s a good thing.

It’s hentai day! Today I’ve picked “A Time To Screw” to take a look into. Things get pretty weird with this one almost immediately. For example: why are these naked bathing ladies arguing about the hotness of Einstein? Yup weird and I mean that in the sense of all the hentai I’ve ever seen weird by even hentai standards. Things only get weirder as a voiceover starts talking about stealing all these women as well as his identity from his brother and fucking them silly. Ok, color me completely confused.

For entirely unknown reasons almost every woman in a large mansion suddenly becomes uncontrollably horny. So horny that they stop behaving like Japanese women or even your average American porn star and literally beg for cock while being derided as dirty boring whores. One last quote from the same section of the movie because it was kind of awesome, even if it isn’t a correct translation: “you’re a fucking cockroach with two heads, you’re a festering boil on a wild boars ass, you’re a pizza delivery man with no car!” I have to say though that despite those amusing tidbits above the dialogue or whatever crappy translation we’ve got of it mostly really sucks.

Sadistic, weird assed plot and all, I was ok till we got to about 47 minutes in. I’ve said it before I’m not really a fan of food and sex together but add in their ‘special’ ingredient and the party is completely over for me. Not only was it over – but I had to take a minute. “A Time To Screw” is one of those animated offerings from Japan that’s deliberately not meant to make complete sense. I don’t even think it’s really meant to be sexy so much as an envelope pusher, the way it jumps around from place to place and act to act it’s impossible to feel like you’ve got a full scene from the thing. “A Time To Screw” gets three full “what the hells” from me and one solid “what the fuck” watch at your own risk.

All in all “Pervs On A Train” was an altogether better experience than I was expecting. I had no idea there’d be so many femmes with a little willpower in this film and that’s always a treat to find in hentai. Animation could have been better but it does serve the purpose of providing reasonable but none too distracting fap fodder. All wrapped up in the ‘two strangers on a train’ fantasy, good masturbation fodder indeed – just don’t try any of this on a real train!

Normally I try to stay away from any and all family themed porn – it’s not my thing really – but the Brady Bunch like theme on the cover of this one finally won my curiosity over. That and the artwork didn’t look too mediocre in the scenes. Was it a surprising treat or a disappointing premature spurter?

Dubbed rather than subbed, “Sleazy Family” starts off when the male lead Masaru walks in on his step-aunt masturbating while watching an adult film. Unfortunately the level of detail decreases sharply once we get to the female genitalia. The animation was interesting in other places as well, the thrust in doggy style was both a little off and perfect from the over the shoulder third person perspective. Definitely better animation over all, than a lot of hentai I’ve seen recently.

The plot, what little there is of it, is simply put, kind of a boner killer. You see, the very same step aunt that starts seducing Masaru in the beginning – also encouraged her sister to marry Masaru’s father. Why did she do that? No idea, but here is the more interesting part – she told her sister that Masaru looked just like her lost love. Ew. Things just get more random and nebulously connected from there. How random? Think fries in someone’s pussy while someone else has a candle in their ass the copious use of blindfolds and slave training.

Ok so the animation was an overall win, but the way they cut up the movie into ten minute scenes of limited sexual fruition was rather frustrating. Add in the horrible way that Masaru became a part of the family and the various handling of all the ‘seduction’ and it’s pretty much a net loss for me.
