In December of 2009, I had slipped off my porch and broke my elbow and torn my meniscus in my right knee. I was laid up in my bed for weeks and while there I was surfing the internet. I came across an article about Madison Young and Syd Blakovich. I then started looking up queer porn and I got hooked. I applied with No Fauxxx and Crash Pad Series and the rest is history.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I would be working in the healthcare profession. I have a need to care and heal others…
3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?

A few weeks back when we were at the NY Sex Bloggers Calendar Release Party we had the honor to get a chance to interview some of the most exciting people in the porno/sex industry – and lucky you, we have a bunch of amazing video footage to offer up. Back in June, ICANN (Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers) approved adult sites to use the top-level domain .XXX. As of right now, the decision is awaiting further approval but even before the announcement, there was both dissent and excitement within the adult industry. While it may not affect you directly, what do you think of having all internet porn live under the .XXX domain? Helpful? Hindrance?
I’m not in favor of .XXX because I worry about censorship due to content regulation — something I think is already an issue. If .XXX is approved, most adult companies will have to duplicate their domain names by registering (expensive) versions of their URL so that they can keep their prior business. Shortly after that land-rush, there’s the potential that new restrictions from web hosts and credit card processors could result in a witch-hunt to eradicate any and all sexual content from “safe” top level domains. But who defines what is sex education, or art, or entertainment? I think it’s a bad idea. Messy at best… and deadly to 1st amendment rights at worst! – Jiz Lee

I don’t think I have the popular view here, but I’m for the .xxx domain name for internet porn. The reason being, if it helps detract minors from clicking away, then let’s detract. We have enough problems with providing accurate sex education in the USA, if we separate fantasy fucking from factual sexual information we may be able to set up at least a small divide between the two. – Jamye Waxman
I have mixed feelings. I think it could be good for us to show that we want to keep people away from us that do not want to see porn( they would have to explain why they typed in .xxx, if they weren’t looking for porn) But also it takes away our freedom of speech and expression. Why is it that adult entertainment is considered such a bad thing?? – Buck Angel
I think it’s a very bad idea to put adult content into a virtual ghetto, where access can be cut off t any time, for any so-called “reason.” Billing, banking services, etc., can all be denied with “well, we don’t handle business for .xxx companies,” or some such nonsense.
If it’s to “protect the children,” as it always seems to be, make a safe playground for THEM and create a top-level domain “.kid” with a big fence around it. And make sure ALL material that is put up under that domain is, indeed, safe for children.
We can not make the world a child-safe day nursery, but we can, and should, make safe places for minors to utilize the powers of the Internet without also infringing upon the rights of adults.
I think this is a horrible idea for many reasons. The main reason is that the idea was created by a few men (who are not in the adult industry) for their own profit. I believe it would lead to easier ways to censor our industry. Also, “adult content” means different things to different people (creators, performers, viewers, supporters) so it is impossible to put it all under one umbrella category. – April Flores
