A few years back I spent some time studying abroad in Amsterdam during graduate school.  And don’t you know, my sex education grad program was filled to the brim with pervy, sex-positive folks who all had the same basic question – what kind of sexy fun can we get into… aside from heading down to the Red Light district and ringing up a lit storefront (not that we had anything against sex work – it’s more like we were poor grad students).

Fortunately for us, we had at least one person in the group that thought to do a little research on the city prior to arrival and found us all the risque places to be – like The Erotic Museum and a little sex toy shop.  But what would we have done without that resourceful friend?  A whole lot of nothing… boring, boring nothing.

And thanks to feminist porn maker Erika Lust, no one will ever need to check out those boring landmarks (like the Eiffel Tower or Big Ben) ever again!  Lust recently launched the fabulous Erotic Bible To Europe, an interactive website – and soon to be book – to help folks find the hottest, most erotic places that the old world has to offer.

Check out the click-able map to search for every kinky establishment – from swinger parties to sex toy shops, in an easy and intuitive way that shows us each venue with a pretty purple dot and a whole bunch of important information.

Don’t see your favorite porn shop on the list?  No worries!  Just add it into the dirty database!  The interactive component of the website keeps this idea totally fresh and up-to-date, while the book (coming out this fall) will be a tangible guide to help you navigate the awesomeness that is sexy Europe.  What an awesome pair, right?
