Last Friday I spent the day hanging out at the 8th Annual Philadelphia Trans-Health Conference and got my learn on about all the new medical and health info going on in the transgender community. This conference is near and dear to my heart and I’ve been either attending or volunteering for a bunch of years. This year I was lucky enough to not only go to learn, but to also preach the porno gospel and hand out free 30-minute cards for HotMoviesForHer.com.
While I was super excited to pass out our cards and turn people on to great porno, I wasn’t quite sure how it would go over. I mean, we are HotMoviesForHer.com, so what about all the people I wanted to talk to that don’t identify as her? I certainly didn’t want to make anyone uncomfortable. And the fact is that we have some of the most awesome female-to-male trans porn that’s on the market and more hot queer porn than you can shake a stick at!
Well, turns out I just need to quiet my buzzing Virgo brain more often, because no one gives a crap about a name when you are giving them access to free hot porn. We could be called BirdSharkFishButt.com and folks would still come a-running at the mere mention of hot queer humping. That said, everyone that I spoke with was super excited about HotMoviesForHer and what we have to offer. Maybe it’s because I’m such an awesome salesgal or maybe porn just sells itself (more likely), but I was out of cards by the time I left for the evening. And had the promise of a few emails on their way asking me for movie suggestions.

As LBGT pride month kicks off around the country – the first year that the President has included Bisexual and Transgender in the proclaimation – Chastity Bono has decided to publicly annouce his own proud proclaimation.
That’s right, I said him.
The celebrity offspring of Cher and Sonny Bono has begun transitioning from female to male. After rocking the entertainment world when coming out as a lesbian nearly twenty years ago, 40-year-old Chaz (as he known to friends and family) has re-opened the closet door to come out again, this time as transgender.

As sad as we were to see Masturbation Month come to an end, National LGBT Pride Month is here and we are super excited! Back in 2000, Bill Clinton declared June as Pride Month to remember the Stonewall Riots, which are considered the start of the gay rights movement. And yesterday, the first of June, President Obama officially proclaimed June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month and called upon the people of the United States to “turn back discrimination and prejudice everywhere it exists.” Woohoo!

Now that all of those breeders have left the building (and really, I’m just talking about dudes here), it’s time for the annual GAYVN Awards! Like the AVN Awards, this is the porno equivalent of the Academy Awards – only for gay fuck flicks. The actually show is in March in San Francisco, but the nominations dropped this week, and guess what… two of our favorite movies are up for awards! Well, in reality, there are tons of movies we love in the running, but I wanted to give a special shout out to these two videos in particular because they
a. are awesome
and
b. turn gender and sexuality norms on their head.

I was a little disappointed with this movie, I hate to admit. As an ardent pop culture junkie, I was gung-ho about reviewing this 2009 AVN Nominee for Best Transsexual Release because I totally thought I was going to get some sort of reality T.V. spoof… or at least a little competition. America’s Next Top Tranny? I mean, come on, it screams at least one good catfight. But no – no hair pulling or posing or anything like that. Don’t get me wrong, by no means was this movie a total wash. Sure, stiff competition is fun to watch, but stiff cocks are definitely better… especially if those cocks come along with a nice set of tits. And these hot ladies have enough of each to go around!
My favorite of the bunch was Holly Sweet – a tall blonde with a sassy attitude and dirty mouth to match. Playing a bank teller in her scene (#3), Sweet made sure to get everything she needed to make her customer’s deposit… all over her chest. I thought it was kind of interesting that Sweet covered her penis the whole scene, as a lot of the appeal of transsexual scenes is to enjoy seeing the best of all worlds, but nothing was detracted from the hot sex. Plus, when it comes to people’s experience in their own bodies, I say do what makes you feel comfortable – and Holly Sweet was definitely feeling fine with a huge dick up her ass. Isn’t that really all that matters? That and the fact that this movie taught me a new word: Trangina! (Which, if googled, is also the name of a heart medication. Ha!)
All in all, bummed about them not taking advantage of the perfect spoof, but the super hot sex and horny ladies definitely made up for it in spades.

Today is the 10th Annual Transgender Day of Remembrance, the day where we recognize all of the trans folks that have lost their lives to anti-trans hatred and prejudice. It was a busy day here at HMFH, and I just wanted to make sure that I didn’t let this important day slip through the cracks. Maybe take a second as you read this to remember that innocent people die everyday due to ignorance and bigotry and think about how you can make a difference.
