I could actually see the cock of an actual Cyborg looking like this Fleshlight Freaks dildo. It is super ridge-y and covered in robot textures. For some reason it reminds me of the hallways on the Death Star. You know, the white hallways that the Storm Troopers walk down in Star Wars? Did I get too nerdy on you? What I’m getting at is that masturbating with the Cyborg dildo is probably pretty similar to doin’ it to the 6 million dollar man or Optimus Prime. How about now (in regard to the nerdiness)?
I’m not quite sure how to segway how out of that, so I’m just going to make this a really abrupt transition. The Cyborg is made from 100% awesomely body safe silicone. It has a total length of 7.5 inches, an insertable length of 6 inches with a circumference of 5.5 inches. It isn’t overwhelming, but it has a nice girth, which I prefer.
CyBee (my nickname for it) is all about texture. It is ridge, bump and crevice city! I warmed up a little bit, but at first I found it to be uncomfortable. All of the features are really pronounced and are absolutely apparent. Once applied A LOT of lube things got fun. I probably would have achieved the same affect had I warmed up a bit more, but I was excited. Can you blame me? I’m not generally into full on thrusting when it comes to dildos. Instead I go with something girthy that serves as a filler – heh – or something with a g-spot curve, but it would be a sin NOT to thrust this robo-cock. It creates sort of a ripple affect which is pretty awesome and unlike anything I’ve ever experienced. The pointed tip isn’t ideal for more aggressive thrusting, but the texture made up for it by allowing for spine melting vaginal wall stimulation during slow in and out motions. Neat!
Fleshlight really did a bang up job of creating interesting fun dildos that have totally unique textures. I loved my Drac, but Cyborg definitely represented. You can tell the designs were thought. I love that they serve as items to look at, but follow through with function. Too often it is one or the other, but not with the Freaks!
A while back, HM4Her delved into the fabulous world of adding gender expression items into our pool of general sex toy to review. Yes, we’ve been reviewing dildos and harnesses, which can also fall under the gender expression umbrella, for a long time, but in those instances, they’ve been used during actual sexual activity. The gender expression ‘toys’ that we are highlighting are something a little different. Before I get into the review, let me first explain a bit about gender expression – a refresher for the folks that read our other gender expression toy posts.
Recap: When it comes to breaking down sex, gender and orientation, I’ve always found this nerdy tech analogy to be helpful. Sex = Hardware; Gender = Software; Orientation = Networking. Basically, Sex is the biological body – the physical; Gender is how you feel internally and how you present yourself to the world; and Orientation is the ways you interact with others. In many instances Sex and Gender match up (known as being “cis-gendered”), and in other cases, they do not. When someone’s body/sex assigned at birth do not match up to their gender identity (how they feel inside), some folks decide to live as the gender they identify as, which is called transitioning, or transgendered. And when folks are transitioning, sometimes they use items that help them express the gender that they identify – hence the name gender expression. Now, there is definitely more to it that just that, but as far as the basics go, that should work.
Onward to the review! Up today is the Private Silicone Packer, a packer designed by the awesome folks at Good Vibrations. Ok, time for another quick recap: a packer is a soft dildo that some trans guys (or other gender variant folks) wear to further feel and outwardly express masculinity – and create a handsome bulge in the front of their pants. While packers are not hard penises or acceptable for sexual penetration, they are usually made of the same quality materials that traditional dildos are made from.
We had an amazing trans guy come in to help out on this one, generously trying this packer out and giving us all the info on the pros and cons of this particular bulge in his briefs. To start off, let’s take a gander at the stats, shall we? The Private Silicone Packer is a 5” x 1 3/8” ‘soft’ dildo sporting realistic (I wanted to type realisdick SO badly!) phallic features and a ball sack. I say soft in quotes, because there really isn’t anything too ‘soft’ about this guy – in fact, he’s pretty firm.
The rigid silicone means that there is no repositioning or dressing to one side (aka. the side of your pants your cock hangs down) – the Private Packer is smack dab in the middle of your pants, parallel to your zipper. And it’s not going anywhere. While our reviewer really enjoyed the way this looked while wearing pants, he wasn’t so keen on how the Private presented in just underwear. While some folks may love it, for him, the bulge was too big and sat unnaturally in his boxers.
A plus of this packer is the defined lip at the base. It keeps the Private held tightly in a packing jock or strap (or harness) and helps to keep it from wandering, as packers sometimes tend to do. Our tester said he felt very secure that the Private wasn’t going to shift or fall out while he was wearing it. The downside of the defined lip is that the whole back of the packer is just as rigid as the shaft, and our reviewer said that while he was wearing it, he could feel it the whole time, reminding him that he was packing. He said that some people may be totally turned on by feeling their packer at all times, but it just didn’t work for him.
When asked to sum it up, our friend shrugged and said that while it’s a decent packer, he is still on the prowl for something that feels more realistic and meets more of his own needs. Well, there you have it.
When it comes to buying sex toys, the sheer amount to choose from can be downright overwhelming. Not only do you have types of toys to pick from (ie. vibrators, dildos, butt plugs, fetish gear, etc.), but each type comes in a variety of colors, shapes, sizes and, of course, materials. It’s enough to make anyone close their eyes, grab the first thing their hand touches and head to the register. Let HotMovies4Her ease those decision-making fears with a look into four of the most exciting sex toy materials.
Silicone: In my humble opinion, silicone is the bees knees of sex toy materials. Along with being just the right consistency to allow for a little give, this magical material is phthalate free*, hypo allergenic and totally body safe. Being non-porous, it’s super easy to clean and sterilize (drop in boiling water for 3-5 mins, stick in the dishwasher – top shelf, no soap) or wipe with a 10% bleach solution), which means you can share it safely with others. Silicone heats up to body temperature fast and is nearly indestructible – just be sure not to nick or cut it, and do not use it with silicone lube, as they will melt each other.
Metal: If you are looking for heavy duty awesomeness, 100% medical grade stainless steel is the way to go. Solid, weighty and smooth, this material will make you feel filled to capacity, and only require the smallest dollop of lube to get, and stay, super duper slick (and you can use any type of lube). As well, stainless steel is perfect for temperature play, heating up and cooling down quickly (you can stick in a warm water bath to heat it up, and an ice water bath to cool it down). Also phthalate free and totally body safe, and with no motors to die, meltable qualities or any other Kryptonite, these amazing toys will last you forever and ever.
Glass: The perfect mix of form and function, glass toys are as strong and smooth as they are a sight to see. You could perch these beautiful toys on the mantle just as easily as stuffing them in your orifice of choice. And not to worry about the fragile factor – toys made of glass are shatterproof and will not smash into shards in your vag (or ass, or wherever you put it!) And just like metal, glass cools down easily, heats up to the perfect temp quickly and only takes a dot of lube to keep it goin and going. Also phthalate free and body safe!
Hard Plastic: Just as with the other materials, hard plastic is non-porous and phthalate free, making it awesomely body safe, but unlike those other materials mentioned, hard plastic as one important quality worth mentioning – it is inexpensive. That’s right, while silicone, metal and glass are all fairly pricey materials, hard plastic is definitely a cheaper alternative that can give you the same nicely filled feeling. While it cannot be sterilized by boiling, hard plastic can easily be shared by using condoms and swapping them out between people.
Remember, this only scratches the surface of all the awesome sexy toy materials out there, so start with this list and do your research from there. Enjoy and don’t forget to have fun!

* phthalates are chemicals made to soften plastics and have been found to be not so great for your body.
I was pretty excited to give the PicoBong Honi a whirl. Pico Bong toys are made the same folks that make Lelo toys. While I love the crap out of Lelo’s products, they are on the pricey end of the spectrum. While they are totally worth it with their soft silicone and rechargeable ways, sometimes they just don’t fit into the budget. Soooo, I think it is pretty neat that they came out with a line of toys with a wallet friendly price point.
The Honi is a bullet vibrator made from soft Silicone and ABS plastic. It is waterproof and boasts 12 vibe patterns and multiple speeds. It is a little over 3 inches in length and a little over 1 inch wide. It takes 1 AAA battery that keeps it powered up for 2 hours.
Right off the bat I was a little annoyed. I was all set for a solo session and I couldn’t figure out how to turn the Honi on. I read the directions and discovered that you press plus sign that is inside the “b” on the vibrator to turn it on (and you press the minus in the “p” to turn it off). You’re probably wondering why I didn’t just read the directions to begin with. Well, I don’t think you should have to read directions to turn on a bullet vibrator! The plus and minus are camouflaged, damnit. Just sayin’.
While we’re on the subject of controls: to cycle through the various patterns, you hold down the plus sign for 2 seconds as you cycle through to the next one. I didn’t love this because sometimes it was hard to tell where one pattern and ended and another began. It didn’t ruin my life, but I do prefer to just click on through rather than continually pressing the button. The vibrations were not off the charts strong, but they had some nice zoom… enough to keep me interested. While not 100% silent, it was definitely on the quiet side which I always appreciate.
I started with a bad taste in my mouth, but my experience turned to out to be a decent one. As bullet vibes go, it holds its own and offers an impressive variety of patterns in one tiny hunk of silicone. It is also totally waterproof which is nice in the bath and makes cleaning super easy. Is this toy going to be the number one love of my sex toy life? Nope, but I think people who are into the crazy vibration patterns would absolutely love it.
I took one look at this ridged cock and I just knew I had to have it! I’m not going to lie, I’ve been reviewing sex toys for nearly 4 years now and it takes a lot to impress me. If you are a dildo – you better have the right bells and whistles to get my attention. And boy, oh boy, does this Good Vibes creation have everything this cynical old reviewer is looking for, and more!
Basically, the Rippler Silicone Dildo is a super firm, girthy (1 5/7”-1 7/8”) silicone cock textured with an assortment of ridges moving all along the shaft. Not only does that sound pretty impressive on paper, it’s actually even more amazing ‘in the flesh’ and WAY more inside your flesh (har har). While it is a little thicker and firmer (and bigger at 7 ¼”) than I am usually used to (read The Captain review for another take on my pussy and the thick/hard Good Vibes cock combo), with some extra warming up and playing, I was ready to take on each and every ridge.
And God Bless those ridges! Whoever thought to texture this dil so perfectly definitely knows how people’s different insides function – be they vag, ass, mouth or wherever! Once you go over one ridge, you have just enough time to get ecstatic, then come down, then go right back up in pleasure. I swear someone was bringing mathematics into this design. Finally, something geometry is useful for (ps. I have no idea what I’m talking about and whether geometry could even be used to figure that out.)! All I can say is once you start getting thrust into, you will beg for it not to stop. Seriously.
As with all other high quality silicone toys, the Rippler is totally easy to clean (boil, dishwasher or 10% bleach solution), near impossible to ruin (do NOT let the dog chew on it, or use silicone lube – water-based lube only) and super body safe (phthalates? Who needs Phthalates!?) High five for Good Vibes for using such a fabulous material for their new line of toys.
And speaking of Good Vibes making toys, this is the second of their dildos I have reviewed, and I am definitely impressed with what they are putting out. No more are they just the toy store hawking all the other company’s wares! These amazing dicks will totally put Good Vibes even more on the sexy sexy map!
Oh, and did I mention the ridges? Because they are PURE HEAVEN!
I’m always down to check out any toys that are built for g-spot pleasure, so when I first saw this sleek silicone dildo I got a little weak in the knees. Laid introduced its new line last fall at the 13th International Venus Trade Fair and I’ve been itching to get my hands on something from the new line ever since!
The D. 1 Dildo is crafted from 100% medical grade silicone so, as you probably know by now, it is phthalate-free, non-porous and can be sterilized for safe sharing. Silicone is one of my favorite materials and I really think everyone should own at least one toy made from it. One of the best things about the onslaught of new sex-positive companies entering the market is that prices for high-end toys have dropped, so hopefully more people are able to splurge on quality stuff.
Anyways, back to the D. 1! One end was designed for g-spot stimulation as you can probably tell by the lovely curve. I have a lot of dildos that were made with the same intentions and have to say this one is the real deal. While all bodies are different, it definitely works for me.
The other end is insertable too so you have a couple of options, but I prefer to curved end myself. This one actually reminds me a lot of Lelo’s Ella without the defined flat head. It’s a little bigger, with a circumference of 4.5 inches and 7 insertable inches, so if you like size you should read up on this one.
Silicone is really great for transferring vibration, so I used this wand with a bullet vibe to add a little something extra to the experience.
I really like this toy- the lines are sleek, the silicone is just firm enough and it even comes with a one year warranty against defect. My only complaint is that it can get a little slippery because there isn’t any sort of edge or handle to hold on to once things get wet and wild. After learning that lesson, I haven’t had trouble holding on since, but if you try to manipulate this thing with a hand that is covered in lube, you may not be as in control as you’d like.
This is a really nice toy that has me excited to see what Laid has in store for us next.
Well, I can officially cross catching up on JimmyJane’s Form line off of my list to do by the end of the year. I’ve been enjoying the Form 3 immensely in the past few weeks and thought it was time to spread the good word about this rechargeable vibe.
My latest acquisition has a number of things similar with the Form 2, but is surely a very different vibe. One thing I love is that both toys use the same charger, so I’m able to keep both toys ready to go without cluttering my bedside table any further. Obviously, rechargeable vibrators are where it’s at if you’re trying to decrease your carbon footprint or just the type of person who is always running out of batteries.
Like its predecessor, the Form 3 is made from body-safe silicone, completely waterproof and offers multiple speeds and four fantastic functions. Despite the similarities, when it comes to performance the Form 3 is a very different beast. It’s shaped a lot like a tongue, which is a pretty good thing in my opinion. The motor is housed in the solid bottom, but the top half is a flexible, thin silicone touchpad that can be used to stimulate the body multiple ways.
Some of my favorites include using it to mimic a tongue (with plenty of water-based lube), using the edges for extremely pinpointed vibrations and placing it between my girl and I for a little extra buzz for the both of us! It’s also good for all sorts of not as sexy massage, but you probably don’t care all that much about that. Just know it.
The one thing that really made me lust after this vibe when it was first released was flexible touchpad JimmyJane features so heavily in their advertising. I’ve tried enough finger vibes over the years and this really seemed like it was taking the concept to a whole new level. Unfortunately, when I press my finger to extend the silicone, I think the vibrations suffer, so I don’t really take advantage of that much. I think it’s nice to be able to “reach through” and remind my girl that I’m there, but that it functions better in the other ways I mentioned.
While this vibe is pretty powerful, and the four functions add to its overall ability to make my knees weak, the vibrations don’t transfer quite as well as the Form 2. For me, this vibe is one that is at its best when I’m in the mood for a long solo session or for use with a partner. If I’m looking for a quick and lazy O, I reach for something else that has a little more power.
Don’t interpret that to mean this isn’t an amazing toy, because it really is. I just tend to classify my vibes into two categories: the first group will take me from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye and the other are for longer play that result in deeper and more mind-blowing orgasm. Both are crucial!
I expect the best from JimmyJane and was not disappointed in the Form 3 at all. If you’re looking for a great vibrator that is well made (and backed up with a three year warranty!) and sure to please for years to come, I’d read up on this one.
Oh yeah, and for those of you who are looking to splurge a bit this year, Jimmy Jane has packaged the Form 2 & Form 3 together in the Win-Win Package. You’ll save some cash by picking up both and, according to their website, there are some shipping deals through December 14th.
It’s been a while since I’ve been really excited about a new dildo, but when I saw the new Tantus Mark, I knew I had to get my hands on one pronto! To be honest, this is the first dong I’ve ever had that’s goal is to be realistic. While this homo isn’t convinced she’s missing anything, it’s super fantastic and fun for a little hot and heavy gender play!
The first thing I want to talk about, because this is my first toy from their Dual Density O2 line, is the amazing feel of this new dick. It has a firm inner core and a soft & squishy outer layer that, from what I’ve read, is pretty life like. I can’t speak from experience, but I can tell you it’s awesome. Plus, the head doesn’t have the firmer inner core, so it’s a bit softer and you don’t have to worry about ramming a hard piece of silicone against your cervix. Win!
Back to the whole realistic thing, the Mark has a pronounced head and subtle veins to go along with that whole concept. Both add a little texture, which I totally appreciate.
Mark is made from Tantus’ own unique blend of 100% Ultra-Premium Silicone, which we always rave about. It’s phthalate-free, hypoallergenic, non-porous and can be sterilized for safe sharing. Really, what’s not to like? If you take care of this toy and keep it away from silicone-based lubricant, it should last a lifetime!
This is also a great toy for strap-on play thanks to the firm base. At 5.5 inches long with a diameter of 1.5 inches, it’s an average size toy, which makes it great for those of you who don’t have dongs tucked into every drawer in your bedroom.
Mark is a little expensive, but when you consider that it’s built to last, it kind of all works on in the end. If you’re looking to splurge on a realistic cock, I am really all about this one right now. This is my first experience with Tantus’ Dual Density O2 toys and I can’t wait to explore the line further in the future!
Oh, the art of flirting. From that first coy glance to the flat out proclamation of attraction – there is nothing quite like the giddiness and excitement of a new, sexy beginning. So, it makes perfect sense why Tantus would name their deliciously minute butt plug Little Flirt. Teasing the sensitive sphincter muscles with its thin, graduated neck, the Little Flirt is a fabulous butt plug for beginners and pros alike, showing everyone that anal sex can be totally hot and enjoyable from the very start.
While I am no longer an anal amateur, I requested the Little Flirt butt plug to replace a Flirt that was lost during my many moves throughout the years. As sad as it was to lose such a dear toy, I wasn’t too torn up, since I did get an updated version of the Little Flirt! And let me tell you – those few new changes have totally made the difference!
The new and improved Little Flirt features a longer neck, which helps keep it securely inside your rectum, as well as special cut outs on the sides of the flared base that are perfectly shaped to help this little guy stay nestled between your cheeks and right where it needs to be. Little Flirt is also a great plug to wear around for a long time without feeling too full or like there is something gigantic in your rear.
And we can’t forget that this little guy is made of 100% silicone, which means it’s super easy to clean and sterilize (boil, bleach solution or dishwasher!), as well as totally body safe. Just be sure to lay off the silicone lube – we don’t want any melting butt plugs!
Even as an experienced bottom, I still really like to go back to the Little Flirt when it comes to getting prepared for action and working up to some of my bigger backdoor buddies. And for my not-so-anally-savvy dates, beginners luck is a given when you add a bit of passion, a dollop of lube and, or course, a Little Flirt!
When you’ve been at toy reviewing as long as I have, any day I receive a unique toy is a banner day. When I opened a box to find the Little Su dildo I was pretty thrilled. This toy has been on my radar since I first saw it and is definitely unlike any thing I’ve used in the past.
The first thing that I should point out is that this toy isn’t really made for thrusting. You insert the bulbous end of the Little Su and then are supposed to rock against the stimulator that rests on the outside of your body. I really like the concept and think that Joya did a good job designing the toy.
This is also not a great toy to grab if you’re looking for a quick orgasm, although when combined with a pocket rocket it’ll do the job! For me, it’s more of a slow, sensual journey that ends in a big O and is really great for partnered play. I didn’t think there was any thing I liked more than eating pussy, but then i popped this baby in and went down on my girl! The extra sensations really add to the fun for everyone!
Joya also recommends that this is a good toy for two women to use together because the clit stimulator has bumps on both sides. It’s not my favorite way to enjoy it, but not a bad option either! Because silicone transfers vibration so well, I also enjoy combining this one with a bullet vibe for a little extra sensation.
The Little Su is made from medical grade silicone, which as you should know by now, means it can be sterilized so it’s perfect for sharing. I throw mine in the soup whenever I’m cooking up a batch of dildos.
Another nice perk is the packaging. This toy comes in a box that opens up like a book and is totally cute. It’s also great for storage and makes an attractive gift, if you like giving pervy gifts like us!
If you’re looking for a toy that is well-made and different than anything else on the market, you should definitely head over to Sextoys.com and check out Little Su!
