Back when I was younger, I remember being so excited for this time of year. No more pencils, no more books, no more teacher’s dirty looks… that’s right, it’s nearly summer vacation! But instead of celebrating the sun (which we will get to), I think it’s apt to pay a little attention to those hard workin’ folks at the front of the classroom. Yep, today’s Top Five Tuesday is all about teachers!

Elexis Monroe is your total girl next door… sweet, bubbly and the kind of foxy lady you hope gardens in her short shorts. 1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I first started about 10 years ago. I walked into World Modeling after I saw their ad in the newspaper. I thought it was for figure modeling, which to me at the time was Victoria Secret sort of stuff. I walked in, looked around and noticed all the pictures around me were of females mostly naked. I thought ‘okay no biggie.’ I took a few test shots and was handed a list of 10 main contacts. It went from there. I started with magazine shoots, solo modeling gigs, which later progressed to Girl-Girl Sex Movies : ) Years later, here we are.
2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
Working with animals or a photographer. I love them both more than life and both are huge inspirations and passions to me. Truth is, after I graduated from college, my plan was to become a Fish & Game Warden for California. : ) Imagine that. Me with a gun, sort of.

So it’s probably safe to say I love getting wrapped up in a good story. It’s pretty obvious that I adore a great porno too – and at this point HM4H readers are well aware that I think a good story and a good porno can, and should, go hand in hand. Unfortunately, in this short attention spanned age of debauchery, I sometimes I think I might be alone in that desire.
Sometimes it’s great to be wrong. At least one industry veteran misses having more to say than ‘oh-oh-yes’ in her scenes. Savanna Samson recently told the New York Times how much she missed doing features with more plot: “I couldn’t wait to get my next script… I used to have dialogue… Getting it on in one hardcore scene after another just isn’t as much fun.”
Not terribly fun to watch either. Oh a great sex scene is still a hot scene and usually can stand on its own as being absolutely awesome, but if that’s all there is to the film, I’m probably not going to come back later. An attitude amongst consumers that probably prompted Vivid Premium‘s co-chairman, Steven Hirsch, to say that: “on the Internet, the average attention span is three to five minutes… We have to cater to that.” – NYTimes
