I always have something good to say about Courtney Trouble’s movies. Whether it’s about the insanely hot fucking or even about the song choice, I can easily go on and on about how excited I am. This time is different. It’s not that I didn’t love on a ton of things in this flick… it’s that I am speechless. Seven Minutes In Heaven: Coming Out is just that good. Screw seven minutes; this was more like 1 hour and 58 minutes of heaven for me.

Featuring seven newbie performers with seven diverse bodies and personalities, this queer sex romp chronicles what happens when you let a game of spin the bottle evolve into a natural experience of pairing off debauchery. And with Courtney Trouble behind the helm, you know you are getting the full story of real sex, real passion and a whole hell of a lot of real queer fun! I would swoon if I wasn’t already plum tuckered out from watching!

I’m not gonna lie – I seriously loved each of the eleven scenes this movie had to offer. In classic Trouble fashion, I never felt like I was watching porn really. To me, her movies are watching sex. Unscripted, unapologetic and totally fucking hot. It’s watching how I fuck on screen. And for that, I know I, for one, am grateful. Anyway, onward to the actual sexin’!

I have to pick a few scenes to talk about, because if I try to hit all eleven, my brain will explode with pleasure overload. The first scene that totally blew my mind was scene four. Carson gives Puck Goodfellow (and what a good fellow he is!) a blowjob lesson as they both strap-on and strap-in for an amazingly hot instructional romp. The game starts off with pizza eating (off of a body) and turns into a four person strap-on extravaganza with Puck, Sarah, Sophie and Carson sharing one big bed. Things start off with a music video for Party Time by Scream Club, which is actually directed by Emilie Jouvet, the lady behind One Night Stand. We’ve loved the first three scenes of this one, but I have to be honest when it comes to the fourth scene. So this may not be hip, but I’m just gonna come out and say that I don’t really get this scene. It seems like Dia breaks into a house and then steals the milk out of the fridge and dribbles is all over her very hot body. I’m not sure why anyone would break into a house for masturbatory milk…

Unfortunately for me, I think milk is gross, so I decided pretty early on to pretend it was something else so I wouldn’t have to imagine the disgusting smell of dried milk crusted onto her panties the next morning. It was really hard because the whole thing is about milk – even when she gets to fingering herself she’s pouring 2% all over. While I’m sure the cold sensation is nice, I can’t get over my own personal ick factor.

There are a few things I can point out that are really awesome:

- The music goes really well with it – it’s this rad electric guitar solo.

- The camera work is really spectacular.

Overall, I just really wish there hadn’t been any milk in this scene. What’s wrong with dumping cold water all over your self?

I suppose that in the end, I’m just not smart enough to appreciate art or something, but this one was a miss for me. If you don’t have the same aversion to milk, you could very well think it’s the best thing ever, but I just couldn’t get past it. I can admit that if it had been water, the tone of this review would have most likely been VERY different…

Just because I’m apparently lactose intolerant when it comes to my XXX, doesn’t mean that Roulette isn’t a super awesome movie. You should definitely check it out.

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I did my first shoot for suicide girls at 18, which ended up kind of being a bummer and turned me off the porn route for a while. By 2004 I was ripe for the picking again. This woman in Sydney, Australia asked me to do a photo shoot for her queer erotica website Shot With Desire, but there was a miscommunication where I thought she wanted me to do open leg pussy shots for a truck stop porn mag. I had all this angsty deliberation about my staunch feminist morals at the time and finally decided that I was up for it and only then did I find out she just wanted to do some cute pinup shoot when I’d been ready to don a bleach blond wig and stick a beer bottle up my orifices. I did a shoot for her, reading a crimethinc book, in my punk patched clothes and chelsea haircut but I decided after that to embark on a life of as much vulgarity and sexual explicitness as possible.

2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
Sex work makes up the majority of my income but the minority of my day to day life. I work at public health clinic providing HIV and peer counseling to sex workers and trans folks and I work at my school for a program to make the campus safer and more inclusive for transgender students. I’m also a full time student myself.

3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from the industry?
On camera is perhaps not the best place to try something out for the first time, although that is advice that I’ve violated many a time myself.

4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
The first time I did a jerk off video, I was so enthusiastic and fucked myself so hard that it made my labia swell up to epic sizes and I thought I was going to have to check myself into the emergency room.

5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about trans folks and trans identity in the industry?
Well, I think the ways that trans women and men have sex get fetishized in these weird ways. There is the idea that we should be shamed of using the sexual organs that were born with, but very few people can get sexual pleasure without using them. 6. What did you do today?
Procrastinated by writing this interview instead of a 10 page paper that is due by 6pm today. Then, I guess I’m going to creative writing class. I have a date tonight to watch Where the Wild Things Are and do inappropriate things in dark alley ways.

7. What would you rather have done today?
Honestly, I wish that porn was my full time job and that I did it every day. It’s my favorite thing to do because I am such a shameless exhibitionist. 13. Which is your favorite project you’ve worked on?
I recently did a shoot for the next Seven Minutes in Heaven and it started a bit awkward with a group of people who didn’t know each other very well but were supposed to tangle themselves in sexual configurations together. But the last scene was a giant gang bang of my friend Red, with everyone involved, and it was EPIC – every position, people touching them in every which way. This movie had me before I even pressed the play button. Queer sex, Madison Young direction AND cupcakes?!? Did they make this movie especially for me? I’m thinking maybe so. Even the description talks about all the debauchery (as in J.D. Bauchery, I assume) going on at Queer Manor. And what a Manor it is, with all things sexy and Victorian, but all of those values tossed out the window!

Even the production quality has a very refined sensibility to it, almost like watching a very dignified BBC documentary, only with loads more fucking. Bloody brilliant! We start off with Sadie Lune having a delightful little solo jaunt, complete with tiny hand mirror to treat her to the perfect view and a string of pearls coming out of her perfect pink pussy. My favorite part of the scene was that during the most intense parts of her insanely hot climax, the camera specifically focuses on her from chest up. Sure you don’t get to see the speed of her fingers working her clit, but you do get a closer up view of her totally blessed out face and her biting her arm to stop from screaming on the top of her lungs. So, so hot. And this is before Anne Lane even comes into the picture.

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I’m not exactly sure when my involvement with making feminist, queer imagery became an involvement in the adult industry, because at first it was an art project focusing on expressing “real” desires to equalize my experiences as a full-time fantasy-based (aka not-real) phone sex operator. I can’t pinpoint a decisive moment when I realized that No Fauxxx was a breathing entity in the porn industry. Except maybe right now, with my first film being released world-wide on a mainstream (and yet, extremely sex-positive!) level with Good Releasing, and is being reviewed and promoted by people like Fleshbot, Hot Movies For Her, and even AVN. Since the release of Roulette in July, I have been very busy creating my second, third, forth, and fifth films for Good Releasing (Nostalgia out now, Speakeasy out now, Seven Minutes In Heaven out October, Roulette: Dirthy South out November).

2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
I was 18 when I started doing phone sex, working from home. I taught myself web design and digital photo editing and printing in my down time during my 4-5 years. I went to school for photography, I actually have two degrees. I think if I weren’t lucky enough to be surviving (meagerly) off my art, I would still be doing something with photography or web design more commercially.

3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from industry?
If you stay focused and encourage yourself to be open to new connections, stay up all night working on your labour of love, spend your spare change on tools instead of material luxuries, eventually you will be able to make it. Take your time, because your vision will adapt and grow and make more sense the more patient you are. Work with people who have been in the industry longer when you’re just starting out – you’ll avoid terrible mistakes along your path. Allow muses and mentors in your life, because no matter how headstrong you are, you don’t know everything.

4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
There is an adorable blooper in my film Roulette of Rozen DeBowe and Donny talking into a Hitachi. It was 5am on Valentine’s Day. The scene is a queer gangbang, and Rozen sort of directs the whole thing. I can’t explain why it’s so funny with words, I just thought it was so sweet. Honestly, it’s giggle-enducing after 3 years of watching that scene. (Yes, it took me three years to put together Roulette.)

5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
Maybe one of the biggest misconceptions is that female porn stars are starved for either male attention or fame, maybe because our fathers were absent or abusive. The truth is that many women get into the industry to make money or art or money and art at the same time. I know many people in this industry that could care less about the attention or the fame. We’re not looking for approval, we’re looking for a paycheck. There’s no shame in that and I wish that the stigmas around sex workers could be erased from our society.

6. What did you do today?
I woke up and called my distributor who told me that I needed to recode my film Roulette from scratch before it could be duplicated, and so I’ve been working on that all day. I also filmed two of my best friends doing their art project called BrownDownCrown, which is an online television show. You can check them out at www.browndowncrown.com – very rad.

7. What would you rather have done today?
Not have had to recode Roulette for the 2000th time. Maybe gone vegetable shopping, done my laundry, took my wife and dog to the park, and of course, filmed BrownDownCrown.

I regret only that which I have not done.

13. Which is your favorite project that you’ve worked on?
Roulette was the movie I made with what I had, and I will always love and honor the hard work and long-term dedication to that project. There’s a certain charm to it that will always outweigh a dream budget or all-star cast. But, I think Nostalgia (my next film) has been my favorite project thus-far, because I got to work with (and fondle) April Flores and Kimberly Kane, and I had Carlos Battsand Carol Queen involved – by far two of my biggest role models. And the soundtrack has four of my absolute favorite bands of all time, The Need, TWIN, Veronica Lipgloss, and Two Ton Boa.

14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?
Healing touch.

15. Meat or veggie?
Oh, meat. I was actually a vegetarian for five years though. I’d have to say that right now though, me and cheeseburgers are making up for lost time.

16. What is your favorite book?
One of them is “The Heart Is A Lonely Hunter” by Carson McCullers. Another one is “Helping Me Help Myself” by Beth Lisick.

17. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Repetitive commercials and Valencia Street on a weekend.

18. What is your best piece of sex advice for women?
Don’t like your body? Take photos of yourself naked for a year and tell me if you still see 100% of your “flaws” after over-saturating yourself with images of your own skin. Take all the time you spend hating your body or trying to change it, and spend ALL of that time on practicing your mother fucking RIGHT to love your body just the way it is – because I bet you anything, you’re partner does. Good self-esteem? Good sex.

19. What is your favorite adult movie?
I’ve got a few that are equal to my favorite non-adult movies. They are: Behind the Green Door, The Devil In Miss Jones, Voluptuous Biker Babes by Carlos Batts, Morphine by Kimberly Kane, and Pirates 2.
