I never expect much from any toy with the words “my first” in the name. I usually judge the crap out of it – expecting seam-laden plastic pieces just waiting crack or a blob of jelly with that new car sent. What else? Either a pathetically week motor or one that is so buzzily strong it makes my clit want to detach itself and hide in the other room. California Exotic’s My First Rabbit didn’t necessarily turn me into a believer, but it definitely represented for the “my first” toys. I could go on a rant about who gets to decide that shitty toys are for beginners, but I’m not really up for that today.
Pulling it out of the box, I didn’t notice a smell. It is made from TPR so when you put your nose right up against it, you do get a whiff of chemical (not) goodness. It didn’t knock me out, but you better believe I put a non-latex condom over the shaft before using. It rocks 5 1/2 inches in insertable length and 1 1/4 inch in width. It’s not uber filling, but not a pencil thin “beginner” toy. It has a fat rabbit clit stimulator with 2 mighty little ears and 4 rows of rotating metal beads in the shaft. Oh and it’s powered by 4 AAA batteries that are not included.
My First Rabbit boasts medium power. While you can adjust the bead rotation direction, you only get one speed to choose from. The external stimulator has hi and low settings to choose from. I could definitely feel the rotating beads and swirling head, but there could have been a little more mmph. I was surprised that the rabbit shaped stimulator actually reached my clit. The ears did a nice job of tickling each side of the little man ion the boat, which was pretty awesome. Even on high it wasn’t super stong, but I don’t like tons of power so it was fine with me. It definitely made some noise, which was the most annoying part of it all. Although, I’m not sure I’ve ever experienced a quiet rabbit style vibrator.
It was nice get a pleasant surprise from a toy that I totally underestimated. Did it revolutionize vibrators as I know them? No, it just came with a little more swag than I expected. It actually didn’t stop working after the first try, nor did it crack with a few pressings of the buttons. I’m not sure i will pull this out of the box too often, but once in a while it will satisfy my hankering for dual stimulation. It is affordable as rabbit vibes go, so I definitely think you get a good value for money spent. If you’re a rabbit vibe connoisseur, you’ll likely not be impressed by this thing. If you’re looking to test the waters with such a toy, if gives a good taste of what you can get if you’re will to spend more money. In this case, the My First Rabbit would make for a decent beginner toy. There. I said it.

The first time I ever tried a rabbit style vibe, I immediately hated it. It was some piece of crap that looked like an alien cactus and smelled even worse (read: phthalates!). I even had to take it apart and rebuild it, it was so junkie. And it turned me off to the style totally, until now. I’ll be honest – I never thought myself a rabbit kind of gal, even before the dreaded green jelly rubber disaster I mentioned above. I always assumed I wouldn’t enjoy it. That it would be a weak breeze of a buzz when my clit was hoping for something a little more Hitachi flavored. And I wasn’t too keen on the whole moving shaft situation; something about pearls jumbling around in a rotating dildo just wasn’t enticing my bits. But lucky for me, I decided to give the style a second chance. Not only am I a totally converted rabbit lovin’ lady, I am a firm supporter of giving your body a change to show you everything it likes.
This time around I was introduced to the Silicone Rabbit Pearl – a 100% silicone version of the original model! That’s right, 100% silicone! So no more old shower curtain smell, and no more phthalates!! Woohoo! Also, my wish came true and this version did not include the see-through shaft packed with gyrating pearls. Instead, the shaft was nice and thick, with a defined head and a whole bunch of delicious ribs going vertically down from the tip. The shaft was also apparently thicker (1 5/8” diameter) and a little shorter in length (4 ¾” insertable), which is right up my alley! Read the rest of this entry »

Happy Mother’s Day from HotMoviesForHer! Sure we’re a bunch of smut peddlin’ pervs, but we also daughters of rockin’ ladies who deserve all the best for raising their gals to be sex positive, sexually aware women. For that, we hold Mother’s Day to the highest regard and want to celebrate the best way we know how… with porn!
When it comes to mixing moms and porn the conversation is a tricky one. It’s impossible for us to say which movies are “mom-friendly” because for every mom who wants to watch a Candida Royalle flick, there’s one who’s clicking on the newest Belladonna (also a mom!) movie. All women – yes, even moms – have different tastes to what they like to watch, and who are we to say that you can’t like the raunchiest hardcore out there just because you are a lady? Or because you happened to have raised a few rugrats?
That said, we decided to create a list of movies for moms that may not have much experiences with the porno. An ease you both in approach for those of you who aren’t comfortable encouraging your mom to watch Cum Whores 1 Million… even if your mom secretly has the first 999,999 Cum Whore volumes. Because women’s sexuality has been supressed for so long, some of our older generations haven’t been exposed to the awesomeness that is porn made specifically for women. These are a few hot movies for her to help introduce mom to the best of what porn has to offer.

I was sold on rabbit style vibes about a year ago when I got the Rabbit Habit and have been looking for another since then. While I still love that vibe, I’ve been searching for one that is made from medical grade silicone (instead of TPR) which led me to Fun Factory’s Paul and Paulina.
Let me just say this right off the bat – I wanted to like this vibe. I really like Fun Factory toys and thought that this silicone vibe would rock my world! Sadly, I was disappointed, but there are definitely some good things about this toy and I don’t think it’s worth dismissing completely.
First, let’s talk about the things I like. Because this is a Fun Factory toy, the silicone is top quality. It’s smooth, soft and can be sterilized by wiping it down with a ten percent bleach solution. Secondly, I love the ribbed design of the body and the way the tip is curved for g-spot stimulation. Both felt really good.
The biggest problem for me is that Paul and Paulina don’t work very well together. Maybe it’s my body, but it’s a little too long and wide to get the clitoral stim I was hoping for when inserted. If I cram it to the point where the clitoral vibe is where it needs to be, I’m no longer getting the great g-spot stimulation. I mean, I love how this one fills me up, but when I’m aching for that clit vibe and have to work to get there, I get a little frustrated.
My other complaint is that it’s way too easy to turn this vibe off! It’s powered on by a little push button that is just needs a little bump to ruin your fun. The good thing about the control panel is that there are separate controls for the clit vibe and shaft, so you can control how much power goes to each pretty easily.
Overall, this toy wasn’t able to meet my high expectations sadly. If you’re looking for your first rabbit vibe, I would have to recommend the Rabbit Habit over this one. If you’re interested in reading about that – check out our review!

I had always wanted to try a rabbit vibrator. I heard they were the pinnacle of sex toys; that the orgasm was unlike anything I’d experienced before. I mean, there was an entire episode of Sex and the City devoted to Charlotte buying her first rabbit vibe and subsequently finding reasons NOT to leave the house. So, when the opportunity arose to order new toys for review, I decided one rabbit wasn’t enough. No, I was going to compare and contrast the two that caught my eye: the Rabbit Habit and the Decadent Indulgence. Here we go!

Rabbit Pearl
The toy is average size, roughly 4.5 inches in insertable length and it’s made out of high quality phthalate-free material. The battery casing was a little flimsy and it took me a while to get the two batteries to stay in place. They kept moving around which caused the vibrator to not work. It’s nothing a little tape around the base can’t fix. However, I did like that the control was only connected to the shaft via a long, skinny cord. It was really convenient to be able to set the controller next to me!

While the Sweet G vibrator is a dual stimulation toy, is definitely not your everyday rabbit style vibrator. It’s designed with a slight curve to touch the sensitive G-spot. While Sweet G is not made for women who need deep penetration because it’s a little short at 4.5 inches, but for me it works perfectly.
There are two switches on this pink beauty, one for the shaft vibration (with its own bullet) and one for clitoral vibration, but unfortunately if both are activated, one loses power. Not only can you hear the obvious drain, but you can also feel it significantly. I even put in new batteries (4 AA) and still got the same lull when both were on.
Being in the heat of the moment, I chose to run the clit vibe and manually work the G spot stimulation without the vibrations. The clitoral stimulator sits very close to the shaft, so during penetration it settles in closely to the body allowing for maximum exhilaration. There are wings on either side, which teases the outer labia a little, as well as tickler nubs on the shaft and clit stimulator. I couldn’t necessarily feel the nubs on the shaft in great detail, but I’m sure it added to the overall experience.

When the Rabbit Habit showed up on my doorstep for review, I wasn’t really that excited. I loved Sex in the City, but never really bought into the hype of The Rabbit dual action vibe for whatever reason. In retrospect, I probably shouldn’t have formed my opinion without giving it a tryout because I now understand why the girls had to have a masturbation intervention for Charlotte.
First I should mention that this is a new and improved Rabbit Habit. That’s good news for us because this updated version of a classic toy is now Phthalate-free! They’ve upgraded from jelly to 100% elastomer, a pliable and hypo-allergenic material. It’s also latex-free and doesn’t have that oozing jelly smell that I can’t manage to bring near my body these days.
I’m sure you’re all aware, but for those of you who have avoided this toy like me, the rabbit has a clit stimulator and a rotating shaft so you’re getting g-spot and clitoral stimulation. Sounds pretty great, right? There are also rotating beads at the bottom of the shaft that provide you with even more stimulation. Between these three things, it’s not surprising that this toy basically rocked my world. Another great thing is that this baby lined up with my anatomy really well. I’ve heard about other vibes like this where the rabbit ears didn’t reach the clit comfortably, but everything lined up perfectly for me resulting in multiple orgasms of epic proportions!
