Morty Diamond has a gift. It takes a special filmmaker to successfully pull off the perfect mix of hardcore fucking and pornumentary looking intimately at the intense connection between the couple involved. As a human sexuality grad student, I know I’m supposed to have all this higher thought about gender fluidity and expression and all that, but really, when it comes to watching dirty androgynous punk queers sucking and fucking each other with strap-on cocks, my mind is reduced to mush and all I can do is stare and drool. And with this movie, I was nearly catatonic. Scene three, aptly titled “Butch Fire” was what really did me in.  Finally! A porn movie full of female-to-male transmen, bears, bioguys, and so much more. Cubbyholes takes place at the real life Eros club in San Francisco, and never before have I wanted to be a gay man…but I really want to visit that club! The scenes in this film are super hot, and they mix up who is fucking whom: bioguys with F2Ms, transguy on transguy, you name it.
