I can always tell when it’s been a little too long between Crash Pad Series viewings. I start getting bored with watching people do it on film. Happy National Coming Out Day! Each year October 11th we celebrate the courageous act of coming out of the closet and bring additional awareness to LGBTQ issues. There are tons of awesome discussions going around online, and I thought I would add my two cents to this amazing outpouring of support and positivity.
Coming out of the closet is a tricky concept. In most folks’ minds, LGBTQ people come out of the closet at some point in their lives, and bam, that’s it – they are out. But it’s a little more complicated than that. Coming out can be a daily interaction; a repeated process that happens every time some of us walk out our front doors into the world.
Sure, coming out to our families and loved ones might be a one-time event, but depending on our outward identity, sometimes they way we look does it for us – and sometimes the way we look does the opposite.
I am a femme queer. That means that I am a queer lady that really enjoys performing femininity and all the glitter and glitz that comes with it. While I might not be outed every day by looking more gender non-normative (not that looking anyway makes you LGBTQ), being femme has it’s own constrictions. Because I may “read” heterosexual to some folks, I need to out myself on a regular bases to make sure that my queer identity is seen. Since Hollywood is obsessed with remaking perfectly good movies into utter crap, I thought it might be a good idea to show them how the whole business should be done. The purpose of remaking a classic shouldn’t be to showcase some movie star’s super privileged kid, it should be to improve it. After my brilliant idea to remake La Dolce Vita into an amazing queer porno, I thought I’d see if I could come up with a list of five hot movies that need to be queered up!
Sunshine Highway 2: I thought I’d start off with a road trip movie just because I’d love to follow the twitter conversation as stars headed out on the great American highways for a little XXX action. More importantly, I’d love to see some of my favorite queer porn stars in cowboy hats fucking over hay bales and in pick-up trucks. U.S.A! U.S.A!
Turned On!: I’d love to see a reinterpretation of this classic film from Bijou because, years after seeing it, I’m still thinking about this one. It’s basically the tale of the gorgeous Al Parker’s obsession with Sky Donovan and is really a mind trip. The final scene is a super hot orgy that is made a little creepy by the fact that everyone is wearing a Donovan mask. Parker was one of the best, but I’d still love to see what could be done with the story today.
The Grafenberg Spot: Artie Mitchell’s classic The Grafenberg Spot stands on it’s own, no doubt. With Nina Hartley, Amber Lynn, John Holmes and more, this is a true classic and a film I highly recommend watching. Regardless, I’d love to see this film, which was shot in San Francisco, interpreted by a whole new crew of bay area artists. I’m sure it would be a wet and wild good time!
Autobiography Of A Flea: I actually just highlighted this film a couple of weeks ago, but it’s perfect for this list too and I’m sticking with it! If you’re reading this Madison Young, this one is for you! A smart classic film just dying for a little life – get too it…
Jenna Loves Pain: I picked this movie mostly because I want to see Syd Blakovich take on a slew of hot stars in a super kinky film. The original is great because it’s really beautifully shot, but I would love to see Syd explore all of her darkest fantasies in one high-end fetish film.
What movies would you like to see done by the queer porno mafia?
Here at HotMoviesforHer.com we love us some Trannywood Pictures. I mean, there are very few companies making great queer porn and these guys were one of the first. Knowing this, I can’t even begin to explain how it is that we haven’t reviewed this movie before. I mean, I bugged the crap out of director and all around awesome dude Ian Sparks to get a copy and then never bothered to share my opinions on the site!
Anyways, on to the review! Like the original, Couch Surfers 2 features a hot mix of cis dudes and trans guys getting it on and it is equally awesome. You’ll see a few of the men from other Trannywood flixxx, like Mark Van Helsing and Dex Hardlove, and some new studs I can only hope will show up in CS3.
Dex Hardlove and Cupid kick things off in a really hot scene. I’ve had a crush on Hardlove for years now, so it’s no surprise I loved it. That boy is one hell of a top and I’m pretty sure Cupid would back up that statement after the pounding he receives.
You really can’t go wrong with any of the pairings – I mean when people are this into the action, it’s bound to be hot. Mark Van Helsing and Peter Pleas are fan-fucking-tastic as are Ian Sparks and the adorable Lubeboy. Watching Sparks swallow Lubeboy’s cock before giving up his ass was definitely a high point for me.
One thing to point out, and we usually do when talking about Trannywood, is how hot they make safe sex. While a lot of studios use condoms, there aren’t many who incorporate dams, gloves and condoms the same way they do. It’s hot yet educational and who am I to complain about that! There’s even a scene where you get to see two men discuss the fact that they won’t be using any safer sex barriers. Imagine a world where we all talked about things like this before getting busy…
Overall, this is another fantastic offering from the dudes at Trannywood. If you haven’t had a chance to check it out yet, I highly suggest it.
Sitting on the edge of the Love Tub pulling on a pair of light pink long johns, I am beset by two fairly sad thoughts: 1. Seven a.m. is decidedly too early to be awake and ambulatory, especially when I went to bed at 4 a.m.; and 2. Leaving Las Vegas is sadder now than maybe it has ever been before. Why?
