Up this time is their latest release Bree Olson Uncovered!, featuring none other than blond bombshell Bree Olson herself.  Those Triangle minxes must have been keeping this gem in their back pocket for a little while because not only has the main performer retired from porn (Did Bree retire before or after the Charlie Sheen business?  I can’t remember), three of the other six women have as well – Sasha Grey, Jenna Haze and Penny Flame.  If I remember correctly, I believe all the scenes were shot in 2007, which, by porno standards makes this a classic, right? Just kidding!  But it does help us relieve those awesome days when these four porno powerhouses were taking the industry by storm.  Alright, enough chitchat, let’s get to the sexin’!

First up is Penny Flame, who helps welcome Bree Olson into the sorority rush (which I assume is the Tribade Sorority – another Triangle series).  One of the requirements of this particular Greek organization is having sexual skill… and only using it on other members of the sorority.  Flame gives Bree a nekkid body check before showing her just how the sisters treat each other – with lots of pussy licking, clit grinding and making out!  Now that’s the hazing I’m talkin’ about!

Scene two doesn’t even bother with a plot before the action begins between Bree and Michelle Lay.  They allude to a little bit of a story, but by that point, I’ve totally stopped tuning in and am so focused on the sex that I can’t be bothered to follow.  I do hear them complimenting each other, which I think is pretty hot.  It takes the pair about 5 seconds to be fully immersed in their pussy play, bringing toys into the mix as well.  Hell, we even get some tit-clit activity! Woohoo!

After hearing a behind-the-scenes account of Bree and Sasha’s scene, it’s actually really interesting watching scene three.  They are either awesome actresses, or the tension between them spilled over to the sex.  It’s not that they are having a hate fuck or anything, it’s just that the characters aren’t acting warm and fuzzy, but it seems like they were written that way (which would tie it all together nicely, huh?)  They fuck passionately and keep things rough, with lots of hot hair pulling.  Very nice.

Scene four, five and six feature Jenna Haze, Ariel X and Annette Schwartz, respectively.  Each Bree interactions is hella hot and super worth a watch, but this review is getting a little long in the tooth, so I’m skipping a full on break down of each scene here.  Just go watch and enjoy.

Today is all about lesbian studio Triangle Films and their fabulous director Kathryn Annelle!  Kathy was kind enough to give us a little peek into what happened on the set of their latest release, Bree Olson Uncovered!, starring (of course) Bree Olson,  Sasha Grey, Ariel X, Jenna Haze, Penny Flame, Michelle Lay and Annette Schwartz.

You said you wanted to know a little about the work I did with Bree. I guess the most remarkable set was with Sasha Grey, shot Feb 2, 2007. It was Bree’s first girl/girl scene and was scheduled as an anal s/o scene (strap on scene). This particular set was the first and only time I’ve ever been summoned to the dressing room. I don’t like to go into the dressing room, it’s for the girls, plus I got a lot of other stuff to do – lighting, etc. Anyhow, someone came and got me.

“Kathy can you come to the dressing room?”

“I’m busy, can’t you handle it?”

“No Kathy, you need to get in there… now.”

[This was Ariel X. Ariel can and will handle any situation that arises on set at TF. Therefore I knew someone was ready to throw down and I had a good idea who.]

I told Ariel I’d be there in a minute, (I didn’t want anyone thinking Ariel told on them.) When I walked in the room there was dead silence. Sasha was standing in the center of the room, folding clothes on a small table and Bree was on the other side of the table, rared back, hands on her hips, looking like she was gonna start spitting fire. Their eyes were locked, neither acknowledged my presence – other than the silence. I walked around the room to the opposite side, I guess to give them a minute to settle down?

Me: So, what’s up guys?

S: Nothing

Me: Looks like somethin’ to me. What’s going on?

B: Everything’s fine.

Me: I can tell there’s a problem.

B: I brought an outfit to set and now it’s gone.

I have no idea whatsoever if this was the root of the problem or not, but really, that’s not important. I yelled for Shoosh and she took Bree to locate the missing outfit.  I talked to Sasha for a minute or two about nothing and left.

Bree comes to me and says she doesn’t want to do anal. That’s fine with me; if anything I was a bit relieved.  It was a great scene – mastered and manipulated by honesty.

Flash forward an hour and we’re standing together getting ready to begin the scene.

Me: This won’t be an anal scene.

S: Okay. Just straight strap on?

Me: Yea

B: Do I get to use it on her then?

I open my mouth to speak and there was Sasha, chin lowered, eyes piercing Bree.

S: No

 [brief pause for more dead silence]

Me: Allllllllllll righty…anything else guys?

B: Yea, I don’t like to be slapped – not in the face.

Me: Okay. Got it Sasha?

S: I got it

Me: We ready?

S: Yea, we’re ready

It was the beginning of a wonderful relationship with both Bree and Sasha. They’re great women! Sasha, calm as a cucumber, which never changed the entire time I shot her, and Bree, full of piss and vinegar, and that never changed either.

Me: Do you wantta be in our prison movie? [Ended up being Triangle's first feature, River Rock Women's Prison]

A: Our? Who’s?

Me: Ours, mine and yours and whoever else I pick. Maybe Sasha and Bree, but I haven’t decided

A: Sure. When?

Me: I think 2 years, but maybe 3, I have to save my money.

A: Great, I can’t wait!

and the rest is history...

 6 months later, (8/3/07), I met Claire Adams and posed the same question to her with the same response.

Me: Ours. Mine and Ariel’s … and yours, if you wantta do it! Justine Joli too. I haven’t told her but she’s gonna wind up there, trust me

Claire accepted. I am extremely lucky to work with the women I do. There’s always a story, always. Give me a scene and I’ll give you a story!

Cadence St. John and Penny Flame wowed my face off with a crazy intense hot girl on girl action in scene 3.  Penny has her way Cadence’s bits, giving both holes the love and attention they deserve.  Cadence grips the covers and convulses so you know Penny has all the right spanking, licking and finger fucking moves.  Flame zeroes in and doesn’t slow down until Cadence comes all over her hand.  Nice!  Nothing is forced in this short, high energy alt porno scene of happiness and joy.   I love the messy bedroom they are doing it in, but that might just be because I have a messy bedroom.  Yes, at 31 a still have issues cleaning my room.  Perhaps I’m in a perpetual state of rebellion.  Regardless, this scene is magical.

That wasn’t the only holy-fuck-hotness scene.  Kim Kane and Asphyxia rock each others’ worlds.  Kim, steady rocking the headband a-la Jane Fonda, sexes A up to the point of exhaustion.  Honestly, all of the scenes in this movie were hot as hot can be and kept my attention from start to finish.

Actually, I’m not even sure how to describe this movie really.  The closest I can get is saying that it is a bunch of weird little vignettes featuring the now retired Penny Flame making these random fake commercials for products like Jizzy Fruit Gum (spunk flavored chewing gum) and a PSA against Donkey Punching your girlfriend (you don’t want to know what it is, trust me).  And in between there is a bunch of fucking.  Hot fucking, mind you, but mixed with randomness.  Oh, and how could I forget to mention the bizarre sci-fi convention sexy scenes!  Yep, there are some of those.  I don’t think I would do them justice to explain – just watch and see.  Ok, back to the fucking!

Each of the five fucking scenes were pretty awesome (the sixth scene has no sexin’), but my favorite is scene five, with Poppy Morgan and Derrick Pierce.  Not only does she have the sexiest accent (I think it’s British), but she is fucking Derrick Pierce, who I’ve totally had a hard on for since seeing him in Chemistry 3.  The pair of them have chemistry of their own as they screw up and down a classy read couch/chaise lounge.  Just ignore that weird ass “tranny shark” thing at the beginning of the scene.  It’s unneeded and kind of offensive to trans folks.  And I just don’t get it.  So yeah, yes to the fucking and meh to the random Penny Flame antics.

I happen to love this kind of film – there’s just something about watching a woman pushed to the edge over and over again – and Flame is fantastic in it. Besides her obvious enjoyment, I love her tight natural body and smile!

I found the entire film fascinating, but was blown away by the second scene where Flame breaks out a Hitachi because apparently being drilled by that big green dildo wasn’t enough stimulation.

I also loved watching her ride the sybian. I’ve seen a lot of girls straddle that fine piece of machinery over the years and this is definitely one of the best I’ve seen. I only wish it was longer, but I’m thinking Flame wouldn’t have been able to walk after any more orgasms. I mean, my knees were weak after watching, so I can only imagine how she felt! I mean, Penny Flame is basically a sexual athlete and she is exhausted by the end of this one.

If you’re a fan of fucking machines or Penny Flame, then this is a must see in my book. I will say that at times the sound of the machines was a little too much, but for the most part this is amazing.

And the votes are in! The 2010 AVN Award nominees have been announced, and this year the picks are better than ever. Basically the Oscars of porn, the AVN Awards honor the best and brightest of porno movie royalty. So, yeah, they are a big freaking deal. This year we are extra excited because so many of our favorite performers are on the list! While many of the folks nominated have had the pleasure of making the list in previous years, I want to make sure to give a special shout out to some HM4Her crushes that are celebrating their first AVN Award nominations this year. Shine Louise Houston)!  I remember that last year we were excited when queer performer Syd Blakovich walked the AVN red carpet as Madison Young’s date, and now look at us – cheering on these awesome queers for their own nominations!  And surprisingly, it’s not for a queer category either.  Jiz is up for Best New Web Starlet, Dylan for Best Solo Sex Scene, and Pink and White for their Best Video Feature, “Champion,” which was shot with a mostly queer/trans/gender non-conforming/people of color cast and crew and with a way smaller budget than any other movie in the nomination category.  Hot, right?  So, congrats to these rad pervs!  Who cares who wins… the nod is freaking awesome.

I hate the common exit strategy, hate that girls join the ‘god squad’ or feel ashamed of the choices they made but I understand it. I can see that it’s much easier to say ‘porn did this to me, or that’ but at the end of the day, we are all responsible for the choices we make. I chose to be a porn star. Now I’m choosing not to be. It’s the beautifully terrible thing about free will: we can do whatever we like but we must be held accountable for whatever we do. Just because I don’t want to be a porn star today doesn’t mean that I should feel ashamed to have been one seven months ago. It’s something I did and I’m not afraid to say I did it, loved doing it, and just don’t feel like it’s what I need to do anymore. Shame and guilt are useless emotions. The only way I would feel ashamed is if I’d decided being a porn star isn’t what’s best for me and then continued doing it anyway.

So, because we are so close to the weekend and the fact that it’s Friday the 13th (yikes!), I’ve decided to take a little time out to swoon over some of my favorite, but rarely talked about, performers.  Today feels like a day to spread the love around.

1. How (and when) did you get started in the industry?
I first started about 10 years ago. I walked into World Modeling after I saw their ad in the newspaper. I thought it was for figure modeling, which to me at the time was Victoria Secret sort of stuff. I walked in, looked around and noticed all the pictures around me were of females mostly naked. I thought ‘okay no biggie.’ I took a few test shots and was handed a list of 10 main contacts. It went from there. I started with magazine shoots, solo modeling gigs, which later progressed to Girl-Girl Sex Movies : ) Years later, here we are.

2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
Working with animals or a photographer. I love them both more than life and both are huge inspirations and passions to me. Truth is, after I graduated from college, my plan was to become a Fish & Game Warden for California. : ) Imagine that. Me with a gun, sort of.

3. What’s the best thing you’ve learned or best advice you’ve received from the industry?
I have received a lot of advice. Most of it BS and some good. The only advice I have is truly from my self and my experiences in this business. Always believe in yourself. Don’t listen to every single little thing people are going to say about you. Some people will love you, some won’t. Some will love to shoot you, some won’t. Just be who you are, don’t change who you are for a paycheck and don’t do anything you’re ashamed of or don’t want anyone to see. I live by this: ‘Those who mind, don’t matter and the people that MATTER, don’t mind.’ In this business you don’t know who to trust. Just remember who you are and stay true to that. When you’re on camera, do what you LOVE!

4. What’s the funniest thing that’s happened while filming?
Two things off hand. I was shooting a scene with one of my all time favorites, Irina Sky. She went to sit on the top edge of the couch so I could ‘get a closer view’ so to speak. She went up and the couch flipped over. It went straight back and over with her on it. It was better than bloopers. She flew in air with the couch and hit the wall and ground. She was okay, but it was something I will never forget. I just kept repeating “OMG- are you okay..” LOL. The other was me attempting to go outside on the patio before the intro to a scene. I thought the sliding glass door was open, but I was wrong. I walked face on and fast into a glass door. Candy girl (camera woman) would NOT stop laughing and truth is neither would I. It took a few minutes after I saw stars, but after that the world was right and I made sweet love to the one and only Penny Flame.

5. What do you think is the biggest misconception about women in the industry?
That we are ALL gay for pay. That we ALL do this for a paycheck. That we ALL do drugs. That we’re ALL tainted and have no souls. Or, my favorite: that every women in porn has been molested, abused, or had some horrible nasty childhood. I hate to be the one who spoils all that, but I’m living proof thats not always the case. Of course it is in some.

In EVERY profession people have problems. It seems girls in my business are more open for judgement just because we share our personal sex life with the world. Yes, we’re naked. Damn us all. Whatever. Truth is, some women just love sex. Some are fabulous at it. Some want to share it with the world, and make the world a better place. I’m just a regular girl - girl next door in fact to many. I just love what I do, love sex, love women and even men too. I happen to be comfortable with myself and open enough to share my experiences and my advice with the world. I hope to make one person happy at a time and if I do, then I’ve achieved my goal. People pass judgement so easily there days and truth is no one is perfect.

6. What did you do today?
I had some good food, worked on finishing my outline for my next feature with Sweetheart Video hopefully, watched the movie ‘From Hell’ and I’m getting ready to go to the game show Price Is Right on Monday. So far that is, muahahaha…

7. What would you rather have done today?
Had kinky sex. I need it.

8. If you could do a movie with anyone (living or brought back from the dead) who would it be?
Marilyn Monroe, JFK, Bettie Paige. and James Dean. There are a few more, but these two women are to die for and the men are stud muffins.

9. Who is your favorite adult performer?

10. You’ve got 20 bucks left to your name; what would you do with it?
Buy a Sunset Roll – best sushi roll I’ve ever had. Perhaps some soy beans and miso soup as well.

11. If you were president, what’s the first thing you’d change?
Gun Control, Abortion Rights, School Education/Program Funding and Taxes. Guns don’t kill people. Idiots with guns kill people. I don’t feel it’s anybody’s right to have a say over a woman’s body or personal choices in life. We have enough kids in this world who are helpless and unaccounted for. Taxes, need I say more. Education. The kids of today are truly the future of tomorrow. When I’m old and looking back, I hope to God we leave this world a good place and take care of the future people who will lead, run, inspire and continue our existence. Oh yeah, and Animal Cruelty and Whale Killings! Don’t get me started on the Whale jerk offs LOL.

12. What’s the most embarrassing thing you’ve ever done?
I had sex ONE time with someone I would never ever have sex with. That and years ago I had to much to drink and passed out. Woke up the next day half naked and my friend was staring at me like I was in a coma or something. Not a good feeling, note to self. LOL. My good friend saw me naked. Good thing I look the same without make up. Coyote Ugly SUCKS!

13. Which is your favorite project you’ve worked on?
My records photo shoot. I love coming up with ideas for movies and photo shoots but to actually execute them with success, including my vision in mind seems to be a process. That and my feature film. I love the girls I worked with. Like family to me.

14. If you could have 1 superpower what would it be?
Time Travel.

15. Meat or veggie?
Veggie, but I have to have a fat steak here and there. Meat is good for you, but veggies are better. LOL.

16. What is your favorite book?
Lord Of The Flies, The Hobbit and Interview With A Vampire.

17. What is your biggest pet peeve?
Ugly feet and dragon toe nails. Sorry.

18. What is your best piece of sex advice for women?
Do what you LOVE, and love what you do. Open up and free your mind.

20. Tell me one thing you’ve never told anyone else.
My first feature film with Sweetheart Video is finished in editing and is ready to be released. I believe in love. I fell in love and had my heart smashed and rearranged by a married man to say the least. I’m not perfect. I make mistakes. I believe in my next life I will come back as a cat so I can scratch the shit out of all the bitches I want. Im a grown woman who is still learning. I’m at my sexual peak and plan to find the best sexual experience of my life. I used to love boy bands when I was younger. That is all.

It’s a damn shame that Penny Flame is quitting the business, because this girl is awesome. Not only is she a fabulous porn star, she rocks the sex educator stage like the best of them. Her engaging approach to making instructional porn takes the genre to a new height, where it’s not just about giving people info on how-to, the movie actually creates a safe and comfortable environment for folks to test their boundaries. Plus Flame keeps it sexy and fun enough to bring into the bedroom to help with those “interactive demos.”

I really like that Penny repeatedly goes over the places not to hit. She reinforces how important it is to be careful and know your shit before jumping into rough play. Being able to see the back end of what could be perceived as something violent really helps give me perspective into consensual kink play and how hot it can be.

When it comes to my favorite part of the movie, I can’t decide if I like scene 3 or scene 4 best. Both scenes are chock full of discussion about the rough play they showcase, as well as super hot hardcore that totally makes me want to take notes to bring back to my own bedroom.
