Sometimes you just need to watch tattooed girls get it on and we all know that Burning Angel is overflowing with options.  It can be hard to choose which one to watch since all of the box covers look oh so inviting with their pink haired ladies, jean jackets and striped patterns.  Joanna Angel, you certainly know how to catch my eye.  Being that my only criteria for today’s porno was girls with tattoos, I thought Girl Girls Girls II would be a pretty safe bet.

Cadence St. John and Penny Flame wowed my face off with a crazy intense hot girl on girl action in scene 3.  Penny has her way Cadence’s bits, giving both holes the love and attention they deserve.  Cadence grips the covers and convulses so you know Penny has all the right spanking, licking and finger fucking moves.  Flame zeroes in and doesn’t slow down until Cadence comes all over her hand.  Nice!  Nothing is forced in this short, high energy alt porno scene of happiness and joy.   I love the messy bedroom they are doing it in, but that might just be because I have a messy bedroom.  Yes, at 31 a still have issues cleaning my room.  Perhaps I’m in a perpetual state of rebellion.  Regardless, this scene is magical.

That wasn’t the only holy-fuck-hotness scene.  Kim Kane and Asphyxia rock each others’ worlds.  Kim, steady rocking the headband a-la Jane Fonda, sexes A up to the point of exhaustion.  Honestly, all of the scenes in this movie were hot as hot can be and kept my attention from start to finish.

I love alt porn and I always will.

Not gonna lie, the first time I saw Shane’s World movies, I wasn’t expecting a lot.  I judged these movies by their boxcovers and totally chalked this studio up to being on par with some “Girls Gone Wild” college girl crap.  But once I sat down and actually watched a Shane’s World flick, I realized just how wrong I was.  Alright, some of their vids are a little college girl heavy, but it’s definitely not an all encompassing theme.  In fact, this review pick couldn’t be further from college girls on spring break.

Actually, I’m not even sure how to describe this movie really.  The closest I can get is saying that it is a bunch of weird little vignettes featuring the now retired Penny Flame making these random fake commercials for products like Jizzy Fruit Gum (spunk flavored chewing gum) and a PSA against Donkey Punching your girlfriend (you don’t want to know what it is, trust me).  And in between there is a bunch of fucking.  Hot fucking, mind you, but mixed with randomness.  Oh, and how could I forget to mention the bizarre sci-fi convention sexy scenes!  Yep, there are some of those.  I don’t think I would do them justice to explain – just watch and see.  Ok, back to the fucking!

Each of the five fucking scenes were pretty awesome (the sixth scene has no sexin’), but my favorite is scene five, with Poppy Morgan and Derrick Pierce.  Not only does she have the sexiest accent (I think it’s British), but she is fucking Derrick Pierce, who I’ve totally had a hard on for since seeing him in Chemistry 3.  The pair of them have chemistry of their own as they screw up and down a classy read couch/chaise lounge.  Just ignore that weird ass “tranny shark” thing at the beginning of the scene.  It’s unneeded and kind of offensive to trans folks.  And I just don’t get it.  So yeah, yes to the fucking and meh to the random Penny Flame antics.

For those of you who are unfamiliar with fucking machines, you’re about to get a quick lesson thanks to Penny Flame and the fine folks at Kink.com. Penny takes on about one million mechanical dildos in this gonzo flick where cold steel meets Penny’s hot twat! (Yeah, I just said that.)

I happen to love this kind of film – there’s just something about watching a woman pushed to the edge over and over again – and Flame is fantastic in it. Besides her obvious enjoyment, I love her tight natural body and smile!

I found the entire film fascinating, but was blown away by the second scene where Flame breaks out a Hitachi because apparently being drilled by that big green dildo wasn’t enough stimulation.

I also loved watching her ride the sybian. I’ve seen a lot of girls straddle that fine piece of machinery over the years and this is definitely one of the best I’ve seen. I only wish it was longer, but I’m thinking Flame wouldn’t have been able to walk after any more orgasms. I mean, my knees were weak after watching, so I can only imagine how she felt! I mean, Penny Flame is basically a sexual athlete and she is exhausted by the end of this one.

If you’re a fan of fucking machines or Penny Flame, then this is a must see in my book. I will say that at times the sound of the machines was a little too much, but for the most part this is amazing.

And the votes are in! The 2010 AVN Award nominees have been announced, and this year the picks are better than ever. Basically the Oscars of porn, the AVN Awards honor the best and brightest of porno movie royalty. So, yeah, they are a big freaking deal. This year we are extra excited because so many of our favorite performers are on the list! We are super happy for them and know they all completely deserve the nominations.  Check out the full nomination list.

While many of the folks nominated have had the pleasure of making the list in previous years, I want to make sure to give a special shout out to some HM4Her crushes that are celebrating their first AVN Award nominations this year. Especially the San Francisco queers that are breaking through the mainstream barriers of porn and bringing their insanely sexy gender/sexuality bending action to the masses. This year is the first that AVN is recognizing the work they do as being on par with some of the most well known names in mainstream porn.

So, who am I talking about? Jiz Lee, Dylan Ryan and Pink and White Productions (dir. Shine Louise Houston)!  I remember that last year we were excited when queer performer Syd Blakovich walked the AVN red carpet as Madison Young’s date, and now look at us – cheering on these awesome queers for their own nominations!  And surprisingly, it’s not for a queer category either.  Jiz is up for Best New Web Starlet, Dylan for Best Solo Sex Scene, and Pink and White for their Best Video Feature, “Champion,” which was shot with a mostly queer/trans/gender non-conforming/people of color cast and crew and with a way smaller budget than any other movie in the nomination category.  Hot, right?  So, congrats to these rad pervs!  Who cares who wins… the nod is freaking awesome.

Jennie Ketchum is one classy lady.  Until recently, Ketchum was known by all as Penny Flame, a feisty porn performer/director with an infectious grin and a whole lot of sassy sex appeal.  While it’s pretty old news that’s she’s left the business to explore her non-porn identity (as well as go through Dr. Drew’s Sex Rehab on VH-1), it’s really now just coming to light how unique her departure actually is and how it defies long held stereotypes about porn and porn performers.

I hate the common exit strategy, hate that girls join the ‘god squad’ or feel ashamed of the choices they made but I understand it. I can see that it’s much easier to say ‘porn did this to me, or that’ but at the end of the day, we are all responsible for the choices we make. I chose to be a porn star. Now I’m choosing not to be. It’s the beautifully terrible thing about free will: we can do whatever we like but we must be held accountable for whatever we do. Just because I don’t want to be a porn star today doesn’t mean that I should feel ashamed to have been one seven months ago. It’s something I did and I’m not afraid to say I did it, loved doing it, and just don’t feel like it’s what I need to do anymore. Shame and guilt are useless emotions. The only way I would feel ashamed is if I’d decided being a porn star isn’t what’s best for me and then continued doing it anyway.

When I really like something, I’m the kind of person that decides that it’s my favorite thing ever and takes any opportunity to talk it up.  This is true when it comes to porn stars as well.  I will find a star I like and blog about them incessantly, only switching gears when I find someone new to obsess over.  For better or worse, that’s just how I roll.  But unfortunately my system kinda blows for the ton of other stars I really enjoy watching but haven’t turned into fangirl crush objects.

So, because we are so close to the weekend and the fact that it’s Friday the 13th (yikes!), I’ve decided to take a little time out to swoon over some of my favorite, but rarely talked about, performers.  Today feels like a day to spread the love around.

I thought it was for figure modeling, which to me at the time was Victoria Secret sort of stuff. I walked in, looked around and noticed all the pictures around me were of females mostly naked. I thought ‘okay no biggie.’ I took a few test shots and was handed a list of 10 main contacts. It went from there. I started with magazine shoots, solo modeling gigs, which later progressed to Girl-Girl Sex Movies : ) Years later, here we are.

2. If you weren’t in the adult industry, what would you be doing?
Working with animals or a photographer. I love them both more than life and both are huge inspirations and passions to me. Truth is, after I graduated from college, my plan was to become a Fish & Game Warden for California. : ) Imagine that. Me with a gun, sort of.

Studio: Vivid Ed Category: Instructional

It’s a damn shame that Penny Flame is quitting the business, because this girl is awesome. Not only is she a fabulous porn star, she rocks the sex educator stage like the best of them. Her engaging approach to making instructional porn takes the genre to a new height, where it’s not just about giving people info on how-to, the movie actually creates a safe and comfortable environment for folks to test their boundaries. Plus Flame keeps it sexy and fun enough to bring into the bedroom to help with those “interactive demos.”

I really like that Penny repeatedly goes over the places not to hit. She reinforces how important it is to be careful and know your shit before jumping into rough play. Being able to see the back end of what could be perceived as something violent really helps give me perspective into consensual kink play and how hot it can be.

When it comes to my favorite part of the movie, I can’t decide if I like scene 3 or scene 4 best. Both scenes are chock full of discussion about the rough play they showcase, as well as super hot hardcore that totally makes me want to take notes to bring back to my own bedroom. Happy Hump Day!  Lots of links to give lovin’ to, so let’s get it goin’!

Porn’s sweetheart Penny Flame is joining the ranks of the celeb-realitized (that’s celebrity reality show go-ers, for all you not in the know) and heading over to VH1 Celebrity Rehab with Dr. Drew for her sex addiction. Who’s to say if Flame is actually a sex addict or not, but it should be a pretty interesting show. The rest of this installment’s cast includes former Playmate Nicole Narain (of Colin Farrell sex tape fame), former Miss United States Teen/Playboy model Kari Ann Peniche, gay film director Duncan Roy, Playboy covergirl Amber Smith and pornstar Kendra Jade.

As a side note, what is diagnosed as sex addiction is a pretty controversial topic among sex folks. Libidos vary so much that one person’s normal might be having sex ten times a week and another person’s normal is having sex ten times a year – and neither is wrong or bad. Wanting sex/to get off a lot only becomes an issue if is problematic to the person or if the search for it/need for it is overwhelmingly taking over a person’s day to day functions, as with alcoholics and drug addicts.

All that said, my hopes for the show are that they treat porn fairly and that they don’t change Penny too much… I mean really, we don’t want her to quit her day job!
