I love me some music, let’s just get that out of the way now. Music always heightens the mood of any situation and I genuinely appreciate that. Needless to say, I was super amped when I received an OhMiBod! I sat starring at it for a while wondering what kind of music I’d need to play in order to really get off, and being that my taste in music ranges so significantly, that was a task in and of itself. I should have just logged onto the OhMiBod site and discovered they have an area you can share your playlist with others!

When I used it the first time, I didn’t have an ipod handy so I used the additional multi-speed end cap for use without a music player. The multiple speeds are all pretty much the same intensity; it’s the actual vibration that changes. One speed is just a solid, constant vibration, the second speed is a pulsating vibration and the third is a combination and takes you in all different directions so to speak. I personally liked the solid, constant vibration setting and I was able to reach orgasm in a matter of minutes!

The vibrator is a straight forward vibrator, measuring 5 1/2″ long (insertable) and 1 1/8″ in diameter. The surface is smooth and pearl white and looks like it should be sold in any Apple store. I loved that it came with the additional multi-speed end cap for use without the music player because it makes the toy so versatile and can be appreciated by a wider audience (especially since I realized I preferred it without music).

I eventually used an iPod with the OhMiBod and I switched back and forth between several genres of music; a little metal, punk and eventually ended up with rap. Even though I was able to identify what genre of music worked best for me, I was still never able to reach orgasm. I ultimately gave up in frustration because A) No song I chose lasted long enough for me, then it was a boner killer when I had to change songs, and B) I prefer a constant vibration rather than on and off to the beat of a song.

Another great feature to note is the length of the cord, a helpful 3 feet so you never feel cramped or like you’re all wrapped up in cord. The cord also has a universal headphone connector, and a cute pink velvet pouch for storage.

Finally my brain clicked and I remembered I had a job to do.

The first time I used the OhMiBod Gspot wasn’t really that great, to be honest. The vibrations were amazing and I would get all wound up and hot during the song, but the minute it ended, I would be scrambling for another song to keep up that pace. It was very frustrating, but easily remedied. I unhooked my iPod and screwed on the seven-speed cap end to turn it into a regular vibe. Same old, but got the job done. Later on, I sat down with my computer – when I wasn’t trying to get off – and created the perfect playlist to make the exact patterns I like my vibrations is. Ingenious! For those of you who are just looking to get off quickly, you can convert the NaughtiNano to a traditional vibe by switching the audio input end cap out for the traditional cap. This allows you to choose between three speeds and four different pulsing patterns. It’s a pretty good option and I’d say it’s a decent standard vibe.

The body of the vibe is made out of a hard plastic with a velvety finish. It transfers vibration well and is also phthlates-free, so you don’t have to worry about that. It’s a little on the small side, with four insertable inches, but the contoured shaft hits all of the right places regardless of size.

One thing you should know is that this toy is loud. At first I didn’t realize it because I had my iPod on, but I took out the ear plugs to check it out and was very surprised. For me, it’s not a big deal, but if you don’t like to announce to everyone in the house that you’re jerking off, this is probably not the best toy for you.

And this may seem silly to some of you, but I have to mention the fact that this toy comes with batteries. And a second set of backup batteries! I hate getting a new toy and realizing I don’t have the means to make it buzz right away. Super thoughtful, OhMiBod!
