So I totally missed out on Lust Films “Handcuffs” and I’m feeling the need for hot sexy men. Seems like a perfect time to revisit the “Bondo Gods” series again. I’m praying for no more elephantine surprises because the rope ties featured on this cover look scrumptious!

We start out in a bamboo jungle, were a handsome G.I. is running around the woods with a water pistol and his cock out, turns out he’s just looking for a spot to pee in the dense underbrush. He’s not too careful and before long he’s wresting with the very cut, very dominant Van Darkholme. It’s only a matter of time before Van has his man stripped and tied in his living room.

The library scene was definitely one of my favorites. Featuring the same soldier, hog tied and gagged on a low wooden table that just screams “tie hot men to me!” Libraries are all kinds of awesome, libraries that seem built for fetish fun – apply five extra points to awesome. Add in the hot prettied man, trussed up not entirely dissimilar to a Christmas turkey and let’s just say I drooled a little. My second fave – the flower boy with the bit gag in the shower! I love me some wet hunks!

There’s a lot of pissing going on in this movie, some of it’s gratuitous like the random pissing soldier, the delivery boy who asks to use the bathroom and some of it is actually a plot point, like the undercover cop looking for men soliciting sex in the bathroom.

Usually I’m a traditional rope girl, I don’t excited for leather straps in bondage and silk sashes don’t do a thing for me but the braided ropes and satin ribbon used in the flower boy scene was absolutely delicious. A feast for the eyes, though I’m sure any actual bottom tied up with such flimsy material would be footloose and fancy free in minutes, it was a pretty sight nonetheless.

On the one hand “Bondo Gods Vol. 2″ was an interesting mix of fantasy bondage scenes and beautiful bonds. On the other hand, the film mostly featured quiet scenes with men gently struggling in pretty bonds that we never get to see put on. So, sadly the vast majority was rather boring and dull. It’s a relief when the top comes back into the various scenes and sucks or fucks the bound bottom but a bore up till then.

Today I was in the mood for something different. I wanted hot men and a little kink… ok very hot men and hardcore bondage, so I picked out “Raw Rope,” which seemed to have those two elements in spades, plus a bonus waterfall scene and we all know how I like my men wet.

The movie starts off with an element of plot to it as the lead character is apparently roused out of bed by his irate boss. Unfortunately the semblance of plot quickly breaks down into a fantasy so odd that even I had a hard time making the sync up into a cohesive whole. That was disappointing, but it was unfortunately only the first in a long line of disappointments to follow.

Usually when I pull out a bondage movie, there are two elements that I’m really after: the binds themselves and the struggle of model within their restraints. I do have to admit that in “Raw Rope,” the models do get ample time to struggle in some truly lovely bonds – there was even one escape! The restraints themselves were a lovely array of tradition and innovation that really peaked the imagination, but they didn’t let me see how they did any of them. Yes, I’m the annoying audience member that’s not happy at a magic show till they’ve brow beat the magician into showing me just how they did it. I mean, the struggle is nic,e but if all I wanted to see was people trussed up real pretty, there are plenty of photographs for that. When I see an elaborate bond, I wanna see how they knotted every knot and tied every tie, I want to know if the model struggled throughout or was helpful. Just giving me the pretty restraints is like a cum shot without the oral, vaginal and anal sex scenes that should come before it, I know some people like getting to the money shot, but I’m not one of them.

So that was a little disappointing, but I’m kind of used to it. There’s only a handful of movies that actually show you how they get to the final products and though just as long as “Raw Rope,” these movies usually can only feature a fraction of the number of scenes that “Raw Rope” could by cutting out all that work. At this point I was disappointed but not turned entirely off, but the hot waterfall scene came up and featured CBT (cock and ball torture) which wasn’t a great turn on for me either, but I was still hanging in there.

It’s when we get to scene four that things suddenly become a complete turn off. The model in this scene starts off tied to what looks like a gate with ropes restraining him from head to toe. As he struggles in his bonds, you’re given the slow top to bottom panning view I usually love, that lets you take in every inch of straining muscle. As we got to his jockey strapped crotch I thought to myself, “my – that’s a big bulge.”

Yes, yes it was. What I thought was going to be a Mandingo sized treat turned out to be bloated and misshapen, still huge, but oh-so-wrong. I’ve never snapped out of my good place so fast, I actually had to take a minute and walk away from the movie. There are four more scenes after that, but it was useless – at that point nothing was bringing my figurative boner back. I can’t imagine getting slapped with a cold fish in the middle of a passionate three-way being more of a stopper than that was.

Bottom line for me was a total no go. Oddities can be fun, but not knowing they’re coming isn’t so much fun as it is complete boner death. I did struggle through the rest of the movie but nothing in it took the bad taste out of my mind from that one scene. I can’t actually recommend this film to anyone – except those that really want to see it, and in that case go to the end of scene four and enjoy!
