Alright, I’ll admit it. I wasn’t overly anxious to try out the Turbo Bullet from California Exotic Novelties. You see, I have another toy that looks exactly like this one, except it’s red and it has a few extra functions like pulsation and escalation. When I saw that this one didn’t offer me the roller coaster ride I’ve come to love over the years, I wasn’t very excited. However, I take my work seriously, so yesterday I opened up the package, grabbed four AA’s, and went off to earn my paycheck.
Right from the first buzz, I knew I had been wrong to judge the Turbo Bullet so quickly. It’s amazing what one more little double A can bring to a vibe! This baby packs a lot of punch, offering eight powerful levels of stimulation.

Every toy comes with it’s own set of pros and cons. Some have more pros than cons and some more cons than pros, but the neat thing about all of it is that my cons can be your pros and visa versa! I’ll put it right out there that the Dreamer Vibe (otherwise known as Lucid Curves #21) wasn’t my favorite toy in the world. It was pretty decent at getting the job done and getting me off, but I would say that from a cost-benefit analysis, the cons outweighed the pros for me.
You can’t tell from the picture posted, but the nubby head and the dial actually face away from each other (not perpendicular) and both sides have a curve to them, so the toy is shaped like an “s.” It reminded me of a hot pink periscope or some kind of worm-ish looking creature, especially with little nubs all over the clit stimulating surface. And speaking of the nubs, I actually find them kind of painful on my bits, so I ended up turning the toy around and using the plain hard plastic back end, which worked just fine.
This is a waterproof toy, which is totally awesome for people who love getting off in the shower or tub, I, unfortunately, am not one of those people. I have an irrational fear (well, I suppose it’s not that irrational) of electricity and water, and even though a toy is billed as waterproof, I prefer to stay on dry land.

The Discretion Bullet was a total sleeper for me. I mean, I wasn’t expecting anything nearly as awesome as I got. This baby is a perfect example of my ultimate triple threat – powerful, quiet, small.
I’m not one to particularly care whether my sex toys are incognito or not, but I know that for many people, being discreet is a major requirement. Disguised as an ordinary make-up compact (with mirror included), the Discretion definitely lives up to its moniker.
Pop the top and surprise, no powder here, just a powerful little bullet vibe, about the size and shape of a small peanut. Attached to the controller by a retractable plastic cord, the mini vibe pulls out to an impressive three feet! Then, when you’re done, a knob flips out to wind up the cord and wrangle in the little bugger.

I’ll admit that I was a little wary of the Fukuoku Power Pack when I first pulled it out of the packaging. A bright pink robo-hand with wires sprouting out of it… intimidating, to say the least. But once I got over my initial cyber-punk trepidation, this battery-operated power pack with three mini finger-covering vibes turned out to be a good time.
Three finger vibes were a little too much going on for me, so I took advantage of the fact that the finger parts plug in separately and the toy does not need all three attached to function. With only one finger vibe wired up, it was much easier to manage.
My favorite thing about this toy was the fact that I could still use the pressure from my fingers while wearing the vibrating pieces. I don’t think the toy would have been as much fun if I was only relying on the vibrations themselves. Being able to incorporate the usual pressure from using fingers for clit stimulation was what sealed the deal.

Holy guacamole is all I have to say. Yes, this toy is a bit pricey. No, it’s not 10″ long with beads and whirring animals. Aside from a small “charged” light, it doesn’t glow, or light up, or shoot rockets into the air. Well, who cares? It made me make noises I had never made before…and let me tell you, I have made many a sound. This toy carries a punch (and is rechargable rather than battery operated, so you’re being earth and wallet friendly too!), has 5 different program settings, and hits your g-spot more accurately than an MLB player can hit a ball (no pun intended). I can’t tell you how wonderful this toy is, but you should check out my full review, since I do a better job trying to explain it there. But wow. That pretty much describes it. Yes, there are some small issues with the ergonomically designed handle (ie – if you grip it the wrong way while playing, it switches programs, which is frustrating), but I give it 5 stars anyways. It’s just *that* good!

I will never cease to be amused by sex toys that bill themselves as massagers (does anyone remember that episode of Sex in the City, where the store clerk keeps telling Samantha that her Hitachi Magic Wand is really a “massager” since they don’t sell “vibrators.” I’m just waiting for that to happen to me someday). However, this massager was quite worth its weight in batteries (2 AA), so I was willing to look past the packaging and move onto the fabulous toy itself.
This toy is built for choice and options. It comes with 5 (five!) different head attachments you can use, from a cup like thing, to a flat option, to 3 more choices, including bumpy! I like a variety of stimulation, so this toy was like 5 in 1, and let me choose exactly what I wanted, when I wanted, without having to get a variety of toys. It’s actually really similar in format to the Wahl 7-in-1 vibrator, except the Wahl plugs in with two speeds, and this bad boy runs on batteries, and has a speed dial.

The Superbe is a toy made by Candida Royalle’s sex toy line Natural Contours, and you can tell this toy is made by a woman, for women. In addition to being a pleasing color (read: NOT bright pink!) and a non-phallic shape, the Superbe is quiet, easy to use, 3-speed AND comes in a nice little black box that is reuseable for storage purposes. All in all, it’s a fantabulous starter toy for any woman, and a great toy for people that aren’t HUGE sensation junkies (it wasn’t quite strong enough for my liking, although I certainly was able to get off with it). I felt that the Superbe’s only real short coming was being made of plastic, which is not exactly a warm and friendly material to be cuddling up to your vulva. However, the cuteness (and non-pink) factor, along with the ease of use and storage (and ability to take it anywhere) bumps this toy up to my top 10 list. Ladies (and gents who like vibes), step on up and give the Superbe a try!
Read my whole review and see how superb the Superbe truly is!
