I know I say it every time I review one for her movies, but honesty, Tristan Taormino does such amazing work!  Whether you are looking at it from an education standpoint, or just as a totally hot porno, her movies are filled with chemistry, real passion and the kind of energy that comes with really enjoying yourself.  Taormino’s brand of sex education has you absorbing the info without even realizing it – or I should say, because you are too turned on to realize that you’ve just learned all this great information.  But it’s still there, even after the heat dies down in your pants.

I heard Simone Valentino speak at a $pread Magazine (a magazine by, for and about sex workers ) event in NYC earlier this year, and was entranced by the way she talked about how she prepared herself for a shoot, and was intrigued at how personal and sensual her preparation was. Her description of her tasting herself before she had to douche for a scene was vivid, and her presence was something to behold. Since then, I’ve been desperately wanting to watch one this film, and I’m so glad I have finally been able to do so.

This movie is excellent, no holds barred. “AfroDite Superstar” is a female directed movie, and you can tell. Everything I like in a good porn; *real* pussy eating, safer sex (condoms!), a decent plot line, masturbation (with good vibrators, not giant dildos), real bodies (real boobs, and some pubic hair as well), current events (wardrobe malfunction!), fun outfits, etc…well, it’s all in this film. It starts out like a “normal” movie – sex doesn’t start till a good 25 or 30 minutes in, but the acting is good, and the plot moves along nicely, so it’s worth watching.

This movie is without a doubt one of my favorite adult full-length features I have ever seen, and trust me, I’ve seen a lot. And for the feminist in us all – they have sporadic and empowering quotes from feminists through the ages, including Gloria Steinem and bell hooks. The director, Venus Hottentot, is a woman on a wonderful mission; she wants to portray real women of all types, colors, sexualities, you name it, in a film in which they can have fun, get off, and be real. In my opinion, she succeeds with this movie. Excellent film, a must see for everyone!

Studio: Shane’s WorldCategory: Exclusive Movies

First let me just go ahead and say that I don’t really care why Mr. Marcus went to Washington. They talk about Katrina throughout this movie, which is obviously important, but I’m not so sure this porn is going to raise a ton of awareness about political causes. Not that “Operation Fix That Shit” isn’t a great concept or that there isn’t shit that needs fixing. It’s just that all I was looking for when I pressed play was super hot XXX. The first scene starts after a lot of fun reality style banter between the stars of the movie. They’ve all flown to the east coast and they’re obviously there to have a good time. I should point out that they do talk about the issues to people on the streets, but I would rather discuss what happens when they stop talking and start fucking.

Anyways, back to the first scene, which is the kind of insane sex with someone you’re crazy about after having been denied, for whatever reason.
