Yes, I get paid the big bucks to give the straight girl perspective here at Hot Movies For Her.  What the hell am I doing reviewing this full on dyke porno, then?  Well, I was looking at the list of nominees for the 2011 Feminist Porn Awards and saw Return of Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls listed.  I immediately needed to watch it due to the sheer awesomeness of the title.  I’m not familiar with the stars or director Maria Beatty, nor have I seen a ton of movies from Bleu Productions.  When I heard the words “post apocalyptic” and “cowgirls” together, I knew there would be some tough girl action, and I love tough girls.  Sadly, we don’t have Return of Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls on our site yet, but The Porn Librarian suggested I review part 1 (nominated for 2009 Feminist Porn Awards) instead.  I was sold.… More

Last week I decided to switch things up a bit and review a porn scene a little differently - in a total stream of consciousness way.  So much of the notes I write when I review movies gets dopped to the cutting room floor… or repurposed into full sentences for the review you see.  So I figured it was those thoughts’ turn to shine. I ended up really liking the results of my experiment and I’m thinking of making it a weekly post.

As sad as we were to see Masturbation Month come to an end, National LGBT Pride Month is here and we are super excited!  Back in 2000, Bill Clinton declared June as Pride Month to remember the Stonewall Riots, which are considered the start of the gay rights movement.  And yesterday, the first of June, President Obama officially proclaimed June 2009 as Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual, and Transgender Pride Month and called upon the people of the United States to “turn back discrimination and prejudice everywhere it exists.”  Woohoo!… More

Connecticut’s Supreme Court overturned the state’s same-sex marriage ban today!  Conn. is now the third state to deem the ban unconstitutional and let us homos get hitched legally. Yay Connecticut!  And while I’m not all that gung-ho on any marriage really, I get excited when I see gay rights moving in the right direction.  Now all we need is a president that actually backs gay marriage and stops with this whole “marriage sould be one man and one woman” crap.… More
