Happy Friday!  This week flew by, didn’t it?  Maybe that’s just me, but I seriously feel like it was just Monday morning.  Anyway, TGIF.

The mixtape I chose this week is a little something different.  I’ll be the first to admit that I don’t really have any interest in either the Foo fighters or Howard Stern, but for some reason I totally love this acoustic version of the Foo Fighters’ “Everlong,” from a clip of The Howard Stern Show.  I’m pretty sure this is a good amount of years old, but still gets me every time I hear it (which is often, as my phone decides to shuffle it 10 times a day).… More

Woooohoooo!! Friday feels pretty good this week. Both JD and I have adventures lined up that have us in pretty good moods and there’s nothing better to enhance the atmosphere than some rockin’ tunes. I’ve been on a major Paul Simon kick lately and can’t get enough of this song.

Happy Friday!  I’ve been looking forward to today all week!  It’s not as much about being finished working for the week (my job is awesome, duh), but this weekend I am headed back to my old stompin’ grounds – aka. the neighborhood I grew up in – to hang out with my mom and my very preggers sister.  And not only that, it turns out that my closest friend since grade school will be in town for a wedding, so I get to see her too!  Exciting!… More

I’m surprised that none of the ladies here have put this particular video up for a mixtape rewind yet. It’s a Philly summer anthem that still gets blasted from speakers the city over the second that the weather warms up.
