I can’t decide whether I want to throw up on my shoes or sprout wings and fly… Jiz Lee, Courtney Trouble and I are running past the front entrance of the Palms Hotel and Casino, exactly three minutes late for the red carpet and the excitement is palpable. Tonight is such a big night and we have spent the last two hours gearing up for our shining moment. I’m wearing a sculptural black strapless mini dress and 6 inch heels, Jiz is in pinstripe pants and chaps and Courtney is looking fierce in a black striped dress with a gold bolero jacket and perfect make-up. And we match. Black and gold, all. Black because we are artists and gold because we are fucking stars. And yes, it’s worth cussing about because life at this moment is very, very good.
We make it to the line up inside a side room at The Palms and breathe a deep sigh of relief. In line is April Flores, looking outrageous in a pink latex confection. She hands me a bottle of snapple mixed with vodka and bless her, I take a swig to soothe my nerves. We made it – in more ways than one; to the venue, to the AVNs and to points in our careers that we each never fully allowed ourselves to dream of. When I did my first scene five years ago, I was just exploring a side of my sexuality and identity that was performative. I had no idea if people would like it. When Courtney started, she just wanted to make authentic and hot queer porn. And Jiz? Well she is just a badass, I guess we all are, we all have been and being here feels like a surreal moment of being cognizant of that.
In line, we are surrounded by other badasses. Joanna Angel and the Burning Angel crew are right behind us looking tattooed, fierce and sexy. Jenna Haze passes us in line and Belladonna and Bobbi Starr soon do the same. Up ahead is the press junket, a long line of camera flashbulbs and correspondents with microphones firing questions. This year the red carpet is running much more smoothly than years past, no one is fighting, a few attitudes are thrown around but hey, this is porn after all and attitudes often inform conceptualizations of sex appeal.
In addition to the quick walk, the lovely set-up and the different location, this year the AVNs have added a “Twitter Pit,” a group of Twitterers brought together for the sole purpose of tweeting about the event and hopefully getting it to trend on Twitter. In the pit are some of our queer porn loving buddies and high on the energy of the red carpet, we decide to pull a little stunt. Time for another award candidate and this time I chose to look at the educational titles. There’s some pretty good ones on the list and my first choice, a guide to anal pleasure for men, has already been covered by J.D. thankfully my second choice, “Nina Hartley’s Guide To Simultaneous Orgasms,” is looking pretty awesome too.
Ok, they had me at the “ooh Oooh OH, yeah baby” fake orgasm. It’s not often that we here at HM4H ask you to step away from the porno, but at 9 pm (EST) tonight, pornstar Kayden Kross will appear on the CBS Network’s CSI: Crime Scene Investigation! Not only do you get Kayden on the show, you get her painted totally blue, head to toe, as an overexcited science fiction fan at the convention. I loved Ernest Greene’s O – The Power of Submission when it first came out, In fact, it was actually the first movie I ever reviewed for the site. I’ve seen a lot of porn since then, but this retelling of The Story of O remains one of my favorite kinky movies.
Adam and Eve’s sequel, The Surrender of O came out last year and for some unknown reason I’m just getting around to reviewing it now. At the end of the original, O (Bree Olson) rejected her dominant partner Steven and this one picks up six months later. Apparently she still has a taste for kink!
I have to admit that I was blown away from the very first scene. O is just finishing up a photo shoot when Nina Hartley and Nicole Sheridan come in to find her sopping wet and craving release. After they give her permission to come, she is suspended from the ceiling by her feet at a height that allows her to eat Sheridan out. Hartley takes the opportunity to tease O with a silver vibe, lightly spank her with a switch and fuck her with a glass dildo. Holy crap! At this point, the session is not even half way over, but I really don’t want to ruin it for you!
Of course, I loved Tommy Gunn as O’s former lover Steven. He’s back in the sequel and making a play for O once again. Of course, this doesn’t stop him from taking on Kayden Cross and Bobbi Starr in the fourth scene. It’s really good and ends with some pretty hot butt fucking!
If you’re into mainstream-ish BDSM flicks, you’re going to love this one. It’s got a little bit of everything including rope bondage, toy play and Nina Hartley, who at one point sums up the movie for me by stating “We don’t punish because they’re bad, we punish because it’s fun.”

While we are in this economic downfall, even the best of students are suffering at the hands of the recession. University valedictorian Kayden Kross finds herself shit out of luck when her scholarship is cut, but quickly schemes up a way to make her tuition after all. Taking a page out of Tom Cruise’s Risky Business book, Kayden gathers up her friends and throws a party that’s sure to rake in the cash.
There are a couple things about this movie that really stood out to me. I really like the idea of making an iconic sexy movie like Risky Business into porno. I just can’t believe it has taken 25 years to do! Maybe it’s been done before, but I haven’t seen it yet. I also love that Adam & Eve give a shout out to the old school elite of porn with non-sex cameos by Kelly Nichols, Veronica Hart and Jeannie Pepper. There is something very classy about incorporating stars from the golden age into newer movies.
My favorite scene by far was number 2, with Desiree Diamond and Danny Mountain. His British accent and her flirty attitude both drove me wild. Plus, they start the scene playing a game of chess. How hot is that!?! Smart and sexy – I’m so in! I wasn’t really down with the ATM (that’s ass-to-mouth in porno lingo, meaning a guy fucks a girl in the ass, then she gives him a blow job) parts, because I think they are risky business themselves, but all in all, this was totally the hottest scene in the bunch.
Alls well that ends well, as Kayden makes her tuition money and everyone gets laid – even the Dean! While this movie may start with a reminder that the economy is the in the shitter, it does a great job of making you totally forget as well. Plus, there is a second disc too! Recession… what recession?

A few months ago I saw a couple of behind the scenes shots from Roller Dollz while it was still in production and I was totally smitten. Not only do I love me some naked ladies, I have a special place in my heart for roller derby, as I was once a derby girl myself. So mixing derby and sex – what’s not to love really? And even better, top notch studios Adam & Eve Pictures and Zero Tolerance teamed up to bring us the hottest of the hot chicks to star as hot and horny women of the roller rink! Not only does this flick feature porno powerhouses like Bree Olson, Courtney Cummz, Kayden Kross and Sunny Lane, it includes a few of my personal favorites like Penny Flame and Alektra Blue. Talk about a star line up! And while those first pictures made me swoon, they’ve got nothing on the actual movie!

Busting the Babysitter is one of those instant classics that remind me why I ever liked porn in the first place. There’s just something about cheesy porn cliches that get me every time, like the pizza delivery guy or the teacher in detention. The sexy babysitter is no exception. Growing up, my babysitters were always older women with kids or pimply-faced girls who were in high school and didn’t want to find a real job. One time, I actually remember ducking behind a house so my babysitter wouldn’t see me walking home from school. Maybe if my parents had hired someone as hot as Kayden Kross, I would’ve come out of hiding.
The movie itself is really great. Kayden Kross is in every scene – which is phenomenal, if you ask me. She plays a babysitter who works for a few different families. As soon as the parents leave and the kids are tucked away, Kayden invites her boyfriends over for some real fun. One of the scenes begins with Kayden reading a magazine and upon finishing, decides it’s as good as a time as any to slide off her jeans and masturbate. Sounds like a Sunday afternoon at my house!
Unfortunately, Kayden always forgets something – a dildo, a talking bird – and gets busted. By the end of the movie, everyone’s joining in on Kayden’s fun and there’s a hot scene by the pool. I won’t ruin anything for you, but it left me wanting to find a part-time babysitting job.

I can’t begin to tell you how much I enjoyed this movie. Kayden Kross plays a deputy sheriff who gets caught up in an investigation of a bank robbery gone awry. She’s been sleeping with the married sheriff (played by Tommy Gunn, who is hot as hell) who tries to take her off the case when it’s revealed that Kayden’s cousin was involved in the robbery. However, Kayden conducts her own investigation on the side and she’ll stop at nothing to get information. I won’t ruin the ending for you – but it takes a turn you don’t see coming.
Adam & Eve really know what they’re doing over there. Kayden Kross is gorgeous and you can tell that she’s really enjoying herself in the scenes. The story kept me in the movie and was a nice break in between the action that definitely got me worked up. The oral scenes were my favorite – the girls were really into it (both giving and receiving) and it was very sexy. This was an all-around great movie and I’d recommend it to anyone.
