I’m a big advocate of turning off the tv & cell phones and spending an evening in bed. While the evenings often end with a bang (wink, wink) I love reconnecting after a long day with a long massage. I recently had a chance to check out the CONTOUR M+Q+BEYOND Sensory Set from JimmyJane and boy is my girlfriend glad!
This kit includes three different ceramic massage toys and a four ounce tube of Beyond Euphoric Massage cream.
The M is a bigger stone that has four pressure points and is great for general massage. You can use either side and, like both Q stones, you can heat it up or cool it down for a little extra awesomeness. There are two Q stones that have different textures and both are pretty great for pin pointing aches.
I love a good foot massage and have been treating myself to a little rubdown like illustrated here on a daily basis. It’s always nice to be able to pamper yourself!
One thing I didn’t realize at first was that you can combine the bigger Contour M with either of the smaller Contour Q stones to make one super easy and effective massage tool.
I loved both Q stones when I was just gliding them along with my hand, but they are even easier to use when fitted inside of the M! My only complaint is that the sound ceramic stones rubbing together is a little louder than I’d like. If you lube up the Q with a little of the lotion, it definitely helps though!
Finally, we’ve got the Beyond Euphoric, which relies on natural plant extracts to release Beta-Endorphins (whatever those are) and to promote relaxation. There’s a light citrus scent that I really love and I it leaves my skin feeling soft after.
It’s pretty obvious that Jimmyjane put some thought into it because it doesn’t have any parabens, phthalates, sulfates, petrochemicals or animal products and they don’t do any animal testing. It’s always nice to know a company is committed to making a good product without taking any short cuts.
Of course, you can buy this stuff individually if you’re a little light in the wallet or just not that interested in owning all of it, but you should know that buying the kit will save you $24. That’s a pretty good deal in my humble opinion.

Well, I can officially cross catching up on JimmyJane’s Form line off of my list to do by the end of the year. I’ve been enjoying the Form 3 immensely in the past few weeks and thought it was time to spread the good word about this rechargeable vibe.
My latest acquisition has a number of things similar with the Form 2, but is surely a very different vibe. One thing I love is that both toys use the same charger, so I’m able to keep both toys ready to go without cluttering my bedside table any further. Obviously, rechargeable vibrators are where it’s at if you’re trying to decrease your carbon footprint or just the type of person who is always running out of batteries.
Like its predecessor, the Form 3 is made from body-safe silicone, completely waterproof and offers multiple speeds and four fantastic functions. Despite the similarities, when it comes to performance the Form 3 is a very different beast. It’s shaped a lot like a tongue, which is a pretty good thing in my opinion. The motor is housed in the solid bottom, but the top half is a flexible, thin silicone touchpad that can be used to stimulate the body multiple ways.
Some of my favorites include using it to mimic a tongue (with plenty of water-based lube), using the edges for extremely pinpointed vibrations and placing it between my girl and I for a little extra buzz for the both of us! It’s also good for all sorts of not as sexy massage, but you probably don’t care all that much about that. Just know it.
The one thing that really made me lust after this vibe when it was first released was flexible touchpad JimmyJane features so heavily in their advertising. I’ve tried enough finger vibes over the years and this really seemed like it was taking the concept to a whole new level. Unfortunately, when I press my finger to extend the silicone, I think the vibrations suffer, so I don’t really take advantage of that much. I think it’s nice to be able to “reach through” and remind my girl that I’m there, but that it functions better in the other ways I mentioned.
While this vibe is pretty powerful, and the four functions add to its overall ability to make my knees weak, the vibrations don’t transfer quite as well as the Form 2. For me, this vibe is one that is at its best when I’m in the mood for a long solo session or for use with a partner. If I’m looking for a quick and lazy O, I reach for something else that has a little more power.
Don’t interpret that to mean this isn’t an amazing toy, because it really is. I just tend to classify my vibes into two categories: the first group will take me from 0 to 60 in the blink of an eye and the other are for longer play that result in deeper and more mind-blowing orgasm. Both are crucial!
I expect the best from JimmyJane and was not disappointed in the Form 3 at all. If you’re looking for a great vibrator that is well made (and backed up with a three year warranty!) and sure to please for years to come, I’d read up on this one.

This silicone vibe looks a little like a bunny rabbit, fits in the palm of your hand and, although it may look a little silly, is one serious toy. Besides have five power options, there are for different functions that are pretty freaking amazing. While this is a relatively little guy, it definitely packs a punch for those of you looking for some big time buzz.
In my opinion, what really makes this vibe stand out is the fact that it has two powerful motors so both of the “rabbit ears” really buzz and pulse. One function kind of rolls back and forth between the two ears and is unlike any vibe I’ve used before and I have a lot of freaking vibrators.
There are a lot of good things I can say about this toy. It’s pretty quiet, especially when considering the power. It’s also waterproof, phthalate-free, rechargeable and makes me come, hard. However, I should talk about the fact that I’ve read a few reviews discussing a glitch with the Form 2. I haven’t had any problems with mine and I’ve used it a number of times. My experience with this toy has been 100% awesome so far, but if I run into any issues I’ll surely report back. The good news is that the thing is under warranty for three years and JimmyJane is a reputable company.

When it comes to sex toys, I’m not usually one to go for a gimmick. So gimmicky, yes, but awesome none the less.
The toy I received from this collection is the Iconic Smoothie. I guarantee you know this vibe – hell it was probably your very first sex toy. Basically, the Smoothie is a hard plastic insertable vibrator. No bells, no whistles, no rotating pearls – just a phallic shape and a wheel controller at the bottom to change the speed and turn it on/off. This style of vibe comes in a million different incarnations – with slight changes in length and girth I’m sure, but they are all pretty much the same. There isn’t much you can change about this toy logistically – which is probably a good thing because it keeps the price down. This baby is only $20!
Since this is such a well know vibe style, I’ve known about the smoothie for a while, yet never really thought it was for me. I’m not super into hard plastic toys, and I just didn’t think I would enjoy it. Boy was I wrong! The Iconic Smoothie is awesome! The hard plastic turned out to be really well suited for my vag and though I would have enjoyed a wider girth (this one is 1 ¼”), it still left me with a delicious fullness. The Ember arrived in a nice black box, which is pretty standard for Jimmy Jane products, and would be a great gift. As you can tell from the picture, it’s really simple and should fit into just about any decorating scheme easily. One thing I really appreciate about the design is the fact that they included a pour spout in one corner. It’s not super obvious, but it is definitely helpful in keeping wax off of the sheets.
So, the basic idea here is that you light the candle for a short period of time, blow it out and then use the wax for a massage. If you use it this way, I’m pretty sure it will last forever. The candle melts into a nice oil and you really don’t need a lot of it for a nice long massage. I love that it doesn’t leave a sticky residue that makes you stick to the sheets. It rubs in nicely and leaves the skin feeling nice and soft!
For those of you with sensitive skin, you’ll be happy to know the list of ingredients includes a number of things I recognize and approve of like jojoba, shea butter, vitamin E, soy, and aloe. No wonder my skin seems to love this stuff! Soy candles also burn cleaner and at a lower temperature than paraffin, so they are safer for you and the earth!
The Ember is a really nice candle that’s perfect for massage. It is a little pricey compared to many, but if you consider how long it’ll last and quality, it’s a good investment if you can swing it!

The Contour M (which you can buy separately as well) is a palm-sized, medium weight, white ceramic massager. Shaped like a hollow mushroom cap with scalloped edges that make nubs, or kind of like a ghost from Pac-Man, but squashed a little, the Contour M fits perfectly in your hand and uses its nubbins to massage all the stress out of your/your partner’s body. Without some kind of lotion or oil it doesn’t run as well over skin, but it’s still pretty great. All in all, it’s the kind of object de’ art that you could use as a nice paperweight until you want things to get a little friskier in the office.
To make the Contour M an even better toy, Jimmy Jane paired it with a soy massage candle called Afterglow. All you need do is light the candle and let it burn for a new minutes and there you go – warm massage oil. You can pour the oil directly from the candle onto your partner or into your hand then onto skin, or onto the Contour M then to skin. So many options. And you get a nice sensual vibe from the candle light as well. What a multitasker!
I actually really enjoyed Afterglow way more than I thought I would. Afterglow was unlike any other massage oil candle I had ever seen before. The others were all super stinky and really artificial smelling, which is a total turn off to me, but the Afterglow candle has a light, refreshing smell that’s not perfumey or synthetic at all. Plus since it’s soy based, the candle burns cleaner for all 42 of the hours it is supposed to burn. That’s right – this candle is wholly reusable, and will last you roughly 42 hours of burning fun! My only gripe about the massage oil is that it becomes greasy after a while and could probably stain your sheets. Oh well, the price of a fun time.

I recently recruited my girlfriend to help review all three formula’s of Jimmy Jane’s massage lotion. Since I’ve supported her career for the past seven years, I thought it was only fair that she do the same for me.
She agreed and I explained to her that, in my professional opinion, the only real way to fairly review these products would be to receive extensive massages on consecutive nights with each product. She bought it hook, line and sinker.
First up, let me tell you a little about the Beyond line of massage lotion. If you’re someone who always checks the ingredient list before you buy a product like this, you’re going to be very happy. Beyond lotions are glycerin-free, paraben-free and take advantage of natural ingredients instead of synthetic ones. Many of you will be pleased to hear that they also never test their products on animals.
I can also say that all three left my skin feeling amazing. There’s no oily residue at all, just a silky softness I seek out and often don’t find. They leave my skin feeling hydrated and nourished – in fact I’ve used it as a moisturizer for my legs a couple of times and loved the results.
Since there are three versions of this lotion, it’s best to speak of each a little individually also. First up is Beyond Cooling, the formulation I’ve found myself reaching for the most often. Since it’s summer, I suppose it makes sense that I’m in love with the cooling version, but there’s more than that to it. What really sets this one apart for me is the combination of the cooling effect of the Organic Willamette Peppermint Oil and Cucumber Extract with the amazing scent. I don’t like to be overwhelmed by scented products and fell in love with the light cucumber and mint smell radiating from skin. I kind of want to drink it.
Regarding the cooling aspect of the product, it’s there and it’s nice, especially on a hot summer night as the breeze rolls in from an open window. It’s definitely not an overwhelming sensation, but I suspect that would take more chemicals than I prefer to expose my body to. Or ice.
Next up is Beyond Warming – guess what it does! Besides the obvious, the big difference for me is in how it smells. It’s spicy, more noticeable and reminds me of drinking a warm mug of chai in winter. According to the company, it’s natural warming extracts that cause the light sensation of heat. Again, it’s not going to set you on fire like Bengay, but it totally adds to the massage. I suspect I’ll like it even more once fall comes along.
Finally, we’ve got Beyond Euphoric, which relies on natural plant extracts to release Beta-Endorphins (whatever those are) and to promote relaxation. Any time I’m getting a massage, I’m pretty freaking relaxed, so I can’t really vouch for that, but I can say it’s another fine lotion. There’s a light citrus scent that I really love and I’m not sure if I’m making this up, but I feel like my skin is just a touch softer after using this than the other two. I should point out that they all leave your skin feeling awesome!
If I had to complain about something I’d say that this lotion isn’t great for super long massages. I have a couple of really good massage oils that don’t leave my girl feeling sticky and rub in nicely, but it takes time. Sometimes the slickness of an oil is a lot more fun that lotion. However, that’s really just me grasping for straws. This stuff rocks and I highly recommend it.
I would struggle if forced to pick out a favorite and think I’ll leave that decision up to you. Each offers something a little different, but all three are great and I really don’t think you can go wrong with any of the Jimmy Jane Beyond Lotions.
