I am a bookworm (hence the new tattoo - yes that’s my arm and my desk, and my new Sex & Candy book in the background). I love to read pretty much anything and everything that comes in front of my face. The company imprints custom pictures and designs directly on the front of the condom wrapper - all you need to do is send in a picture and they take it from there. - CW goes GLBT. The newest installment of Tyra Banks’ America’s Next Top Model empire will include a 22 year-old transgender woman named Isis. Though there have been transgender characters on popular TV shows before, the self identified ”woman born physically male” will be the first trans-woman on an American reality show. Jamye Waxman’s Sex.ed has run in Playgirl since 2002, so of course, she had some really insightful thoughts on the recent announcement that their last issue will be printed in January of 2009.
I’m not happy that Playgirl is folding. Not because I’m losing a job, I mean it sucks to go from writing a regular advice column to not writing it, but more because I think that Playgirl, had it listened to some much needed advice since I’ve been part of their pages, could have been something beautiful. There is so much potential for a magazine that appeals to women (and men who like looking at men, and reading about women), but for some reason, in the United States we can’t seem to execute the formula of naked men + intelligent sexual conversation + interesting topics that appeal to women = happy magazine.
It is unfortunate that women won’t have access to anything like this in the U.S. Thankfully, there are a lot of intelligent women out there like Waxman pushing for a positive discussion of sexuality amongst women. The rest of us just post pictures of Bret Michaels…

Jamye Waxman has done it again with the third installment of her Personal Touch series! This time the sexpert extraordinaire is talking about something that should be near and dear to every woman’s heart – The Big O. Waxman is smart and accessible as always, and walks us through numerous types of orgasm and the best way to go about achieving them. While this one is chock full of information, it never gets boring as Waxman giggles her way through scenes on g-spot and clitoral stimulation, female ejaculation, and anal orgasm. My favorite scene was the first as real-life partners Daisy Layne and Dick Chibbles use a few different toys and techniques to bring Daisy to a Screaming O. They have great chemistry (duh), communication and watching things progress from gentle stroking to an all out pussy pounding is amazing. Sex writer/educator/goddess Jamye Waxman returns with volume two of her Personal Touch series to show us that yes, it is, in fact, possible to have Monogamy Without Monotony. This video is more of a traditional porn than the first in the series, but still gets the instructional info across and teaches couple how to keep it fresh and feisty by letting the lube fly with hot tips including mutual masturbation, talkin’ dirty, anal sex and role playing. Any one who has been paying attention knows that the ladies of HotMovies4Her love us some Jamye Waxman. What’s not to love? She’s brilliant, a devoted sex-educator, and author of “Getting Off: A Woman’s Guide To Masturbation” from Seal Press. I mean, anyone who would devote this much time to my pleasure is ok in my book!

After Jamye Waxman mentioned that this was her favorite porno movie, I just had to check it out for myself. No wonder Waxman is hot for this - it’s basically Pygmalion done porno style. Who wouldn’t like that? A plot heavy seventies classic, this story follows frigid streetwalker Misty Beethoven through her transformation into a first-class sexual socialite. How fancy! My favorite part is definitely the montage of her learning the ways of the sex world. I always love a movie montage – porno or not.
Thanks for leading me to this one Jamye! To think, I could have gone through life without seeing an airplane with a sex section. It would have been a travesty. Smoking or non, vegetarian meal or meat, oral or intercourse? And we don’t have this because???
