First off, I love Tantus toys because they are made from 100% platinum grade silicone and the phthalates free hypoallergenic goodness is just what my uber sensitive body needs when it comes to sex toys. I’ve never come into contact with a sub-par product from them.  All of their dildos are solid, made to last and kind to my vagina.  The G Force is certainly not the exception.

This Candy colored g-spot dildo comes in at a little over 10 inches in length and a little less than 1 ½ inches at its widest point.  I like pink, but it also comes in black.  The silicone is firm, making the toy bendable, but not malleable.  Perfect for g-spot stim!

The G Force definitely delivered.  As a solo masturbation toy, the length and easy to grip handle made it super easy to reach and stimulate my g-spot.  I didn’t have to use any awkward movements or hand positions – easy breezy all the way.  I found that sitting worked best with this one.  All bodies and g-spot placements are different (generally 1-3 inches inside the vagina), so you may very well have a different experience on that front.  The width was just right.  I prefer girthy dildos, but since I was going for g-spot play and not necessarily a filled sensation, the 1 ½ inches did me right.

So the G Force was lovely for use on my solo mission, but it rocked my world when my partner used it on me.  He was really able to get a grip on it and rock that sucker back and forth.  This seriously sent me into another world.  The combination of length, angle and firmness/flexibility really allowed him to go to town on my Grafenberg Spot.  My body clinched, flexed and contorted until I just couldn’t take any more.  Moral of the story: use the G Force with a friend.  You won’t be sad about it.

As far as cleaning is concerned: boil for less than 10 minutes or use a 10% bleach solution.  Always use water based lubes with silicone toys!  Silicone based could destroy your toy.

The Berman Venus G is made from 100% silicone with a silver plated handle and an ABS plastic dial control. Being the sensitive girl that I am, I have to be really particular about what goes in, on and around my body.  The phthalates free body safe goodness of this vibe definitely gets a big smiley face sticker.

The Venus is 9 inches in totally length, 6 inches in insertable length and 1 inch wide.  It has a straight shaft with 3 rings in the middle and curved tapered tip.  It is powered by 3 AAA batteries (not included).  Inserting the batteries is easy, but there is a scrolled up piece of paper in the battery compartment that tells you how to insert the batteries.  You definitely need a pair of tweezers to get it out. I’d be livid if I was jonesing to get it on with myself and I couldn’t find a pair of tweezers to remove a stupid piece of paper!

The Venus G is a bit noisy.  It isn’t as bad as some of the lower end wand vibrators, but it’s definitely noticeable.  At the same time, it is ignore-able.  The vibration intensity is fairly low.  I don’t really like high powered vibes, but it could have used a little more juice.  Vibration-sensitive peeps would totally be into this gentle G.

There definitely wasn’t immediate g-spot stimulation with this toy.  With some G toys, you feel the love as soon as penetration happens.  It takes a little bit of rocking or thrusting before the stimulation really starts to occur with this one.  Since the vibrations were so mild, I wasn’t really feeling the buzzy effects on my g-spot.  Good times were had from the curved tip once I got in the groove of what it took to feel it against my g-spot, though.  I prefer a toy with a little more girth, but that is personal preference.  The Venus would definitely be suited for someone who likes ‘em slim and trim.

Did the Venus change my life?  No.  Will it change yours?  It will if you’re into medium sized low intensity vibrators.  Even then it won’t change your life, but you might enjoy a solo session or two with it.

Take the Flirty G Waterproof G-Spot Vibrator, for instance.  Upon taking it out of the box, I promptly renamed this blue beast “The Shark.”  Something about the curve of its insertable side and the little clit stimulating nubs reminded me of a shark’s open mouth – and once I got that in my head, there was no going back.  I suppose the nickname I bestowed on this vibe fits, as it is a waterproof toy with a pretty powerful vibrating punch.  And that’s a big thing to say about a toy that runs on only two AAA batteries (that are not included).

The Flirty G (I guess I should use its given name) is a one touch controlled vibe with 9 different functions that are accessed by pressing the button over and over.  While I’ll admit that having to scroll through all of the different functions to get back to the one I want is super annoying, it’s pretty much the standard when it comes to sex toys, so I usually just suck it up and deal.  But still, just putting it out there that it is annoying as sin!

One thing that surprised me with the Flirty G is that it is phthalate-free.  The TPR silicone blend has the same slight tackiness and shower curtain smell as jelly rubber, but doesn’t leech toxic chemicals into your body.  Still, I do prefer that my sex toys not have that weird chemically smell, even if they aren’t full of phthalates.  I also noticed that the TPR on this toy is really just a thin covering that goes over hard plastic that houses the actual vibrating parts.  I’m pretty picky with my toys, and really I prefer a toy that’s more one piece.

As I mentioned above, vibrating-wise this toy is pretty awesome.  The buzz is strong, yet quiet enough to use with roommates home, and the patterns have a nice variety.  While the clit stimulating nubs did very little for me, I’m sure other folks would probably enjoy them more.  As well, the insertable g-spot piece was ok, but I usually prefer something with a little more girth and length.  To sum it up, for me this is a great starter toy, but once I get going, I reach for something bigger.

The D. 1 Dildo is crafted from 100% medical grade silicone so, as you probably know by now, it is phthalate-free, non-porous and can be sterilized for safe sharing. Silicone is one of my favorite materials and I really think everyone should own at least one toy made from it. One of the best things about the onslaught of new sex-positive companies entering the market is that prices for high-end toys have dropped, so hopefully more people are able to splurge on quality stuff.

Anyways, back to the D. 1! One end was designed for g-spot stimulation as you can probably tell by the lovely curve. I have a lot of dildos that were made with the same intentions and have to say this one is the real deal. While all bodies are different, it definitely works for me.

The other end is insertable too so you have a couple of options, but I prefer to curved end myself. This one actually reminds me a lot of Lelo’s Ella without the defined flat head. It’s a little bigger, with a circumference of 4.5 inches and 7 insertable inches, so if you like size you should read up on this one.

Silicone is really great for transferring vibration, so I used this wand with a bullet vibe to add a little something extra to the experience.

I really like this toy- the lines are sleek, the silicone is just firm enough and it even comes with a one year warranty against defect. My only complaint is that it can get a little slippery because there isn’t any sort of edge or handle to hold on to once things get wet and wild. After learning that lesson, I haven’t had trouble holding on since, but if you try to manipulate this thing with a hand that is covered in lube, you may not be as in control as you’d like.

There are a lot of great things about the G-Ki I should mention, and I will, but first let’s talk about what sets this vibe apart from others. Back in April when we went to Dinah Shore Weekend in Palm Springs, we met the awesome folks of Tulip Toy Gallery who had an impressive, silicone-heavy spread of sex toys out on their table for all to check out. Aside with being perfectly smitten with the staff, we fell in love with their line of Vamp Silicone toys. Vamp merges art, function and pleasure to create carefully considered silicone designs that I would be as excited to display on my shelf as I would be to strap into a harness and get goin’.

Fast forward through a few months of back and forth emails, those fabulous folks at Tulip sent us one of their very favorite Vamp toys to review – The Talula. Made exclusively for Tulip, Vamp’s Talula comes in three sizes, small (L 5″, W 1″), medium (L 6″, W 1.5″), and large (L 7″, W 2″), and is the only anatomically correct dildo designed specifically for harness use! By ‘anatomically correct,’ I believe they are referring to the upward angle of the dildo, which, in fact, definitely resembles the angle of a flesh and blood penis. While the curve may look severe at first, don’t worry, the silicone is flexible enough to maneuver the dick around to get the job done nicely.

Someone at Tulip must have been reading my mind (or toy reviews) when they picked out Talula for me, because they chose the large – and being a total size queen, you know that’s the one I had my eye on. At 7” long, the large Talula is definitely one of the longer toys I’ve used and to be honest, I wasn’t able to take it all, especially when we used it by hand. While this dildo is definitely long, don’t think that they skimped on the girth at all. Nope, this sucker has a 2” width as well. Big!

One thing I really liked about the width of large Talula is that just like most of the real penises I’ve seen over the years (yeah, I may be a dyke, but I experimented in my younger years, and I watch porn all day), the shaft isn’t quite cylindrical. It’s shaped like you took a cylinder and squished it down a bit so the shaft is a little more of an oval cylinder than a straight up circle. And while I don’t really care about the authenticity of the dildo in regards to it being anatomically correct, I do like that it really is as correct as possible. Oh, and it feels really fucking good.

When it came to using big T in a harness, I was a little worried about the angle factor. I wasn’t sure if the fact that it was sticking almost straight up would make positioning difficult. I also wasn’t quite sure how having a belly would affect anything, as sticking straight up, the dildo would end up almost flush with a belly. But all in all, the harnessed cock ended up working out quite nicely.  Amazingly actually.  The angle of the dildo was perfect with the harness and worked better than I wouldhave imagined.  Because some of the length was cut by the harness, it was easier to take Talula in and be closer to my partner and it let her thrust as hard as she wanted without hurting me. Win-win! Plus the defined ridge of the head made for awesome G-Spot stimulation. Seriously out of this world! 

Large Talula is definitely one of the best dildos I’ve ever had the pleasure of putting in my cooch. Quality really speaks for itself. Beautiful (I got the black pearl – so pretty!) and beautifully crafted, this dick is well worth the price. If you like length, girth and g-spot stimulation to knock your socks off, this is the dildo for you.

Give Talula a try - you won’t be disappointed!

Reviewing sex toys is a great way to explore new frontiers and expand your sexual boundaries, something I love doing, so I went in an unusual direction for myself and picked the Stranger II by Fun Factory for this particular review. I’m not usually a great fan of the insertable type toys, but I reason that’s simply because I haven’t found just the right one to rock my world yet and unlike with dates (and certain vegetables), I’ll try anything once. Actually when it comes to sex toys, I insist on trying it way more than once, because I reason I didn’t like my favorite vibe the first time out of the box either.

Speaking of boxes, when this one came in the mail I was in for a bit of a shock. It was right about then that I started to suspect I’d bitten off more than I could chew. Because boxed up, the Stranger II was almost as long as my forearm! Out of the box and still nearly as long as my arm, the Stranger II is supposedly 6.75 inches long which is a little longer than your average guy is likely to be endowed. Luckily my Stranger also has a gently tapered head and a soft pliable silicone body, so I wasn’t running for cover just yet; even if my mind was screaming ‘are you kidding me, it’s 9 inches if it’s anything!’

The Stranger, like most vibrators is pretty simple to operate, just turn the dial at the base to increase or decrease the vibrations as well as turn the device off and on. The only complex part of the Stranger’s design is where to put the batteries. I actually had to get the instructional booklet out for that one. Turns out that in order to put batteries in the Stranger, you first have to squeeze either side of the base to get to the compartment, not unlike some safety caps on pill bottles. Now’s a good time to mention that I hate safety caps – if you have any kind of problems with your hands, they are absolutely impossible to get off.

Getting into the Stranger’s battery compartment took me a good couple minutes of squeezing and cursing -the thing was tight! At one point I actually tried putting it between my legs and squeezing with both knees, because I couldn’t seem to apply enough pressure on either side of the large base to open it. I did get it open eventually, but if this had simply been a case of me trying to enjoy some private sexy time with a new toy, the mood would defiantly have been spoiled by the time I did. This might not be a problem for others, but I have very tiny hands. Someone else might not have found it so difficult to get a good grip on the base and apply pressure, but it definitely irked me more than a little.

Onto the good vibrations! Ok maybe not so good vibrations. With the batteries inserted, finally, and the toy turned all the way up there was definitely a lot of vibration going on… at the base. The Stranger’s motor is at the base of the shaft and the vibrations have to travel through the material all the way to the tip. What you end up with at the tip is a very gentle motion. Unfortunately I’m a fan of strong vibration for a little clit and lip tease before insertion and because of limited vibration in the tip, the Stranger just couldn’t tease very well. Using the entire shaft produced better results, but lacked the precision that the tip offers. It was like the difference between using a Hitachi Magic Wand when you wanted a bullet vibe. Still that motor goes deep! Once you do achieve orgasmic bliss there’s little chance that you’ll stop the Stranger in its tracks during those oh-so-wonderful contractions.

Clean up with this toy is a breeze; it’s water resistant, though not proof, so I wouldn’t suggest chucking it in the nearest pot of boiling water! A wipe off with soapy water and a rinse is all you need to clean your Stranger, or wipe with a 10% bleach/water solution to sanitize.  All in all, my experience with the Stranger II was ok, but it’s nothing I’d write home to mother about. Probably not the best insertable toy for wary beginners, though the more adventurous or experienced might quickly warm up to its size.

Get to know Fun Factory’s Stranger II!

Since I’m a big fan of g-spot toys, I couldn’t pass up the chance to review this dildo from Ophoria, a company that is new to me, but seems to be everywhere lately. I don’t know a lot about them, but appreciate the fact that they’ve created an intriguing line made from 100% pure silicone.

Ophoria’s Beyond #3 is a 9 inch silicone toy with a serious g-spot curve. I was a little surprised how rigid it is, especially compared to some of my other toys, but have to say that this works to its advantage. While 9 inches sounds like a fairly big toy, the diameter is pretty average at 1.75 inches and it’s definitely not a BIG toy. Of course you’ll want to lube up, and since it’s made from silicone, you should never use a silicone lube. It’s also great for sharing, since pure silicone toys can be sterilized by boiling or the other usual methods.

When it comes to getting down and dirty, I have to say I was really impressed with this toy. It’s hard not to compare it to Fun Factory’s Curve, and I have to say, I think the Beyond #3 is better. Although a lot of people don’t like the Curve, I think it’s a pretty good toy. However, I can see a couple of flaws in it that don’t exist in this Ophoria dildo. It does a great job of g-spot stim, fills me up and I love the way the raised rings on the shaft feel. I also love the handle of this toy, which ensures you’ll stay in control no matter how slippery things get!

Ophoria also claims that this is a great toy for anal play, but it’s a little out of my league, so I can’t vouch for that myself. Just something to keep in mind for those of you who went there first!

Overall, I can recommend this toy to anyone who’s looking for a quality g-spot toy. I’m definitely going to keep Ophoria in mind when it comes time to add another sex toy to my collection!

Instead of a standard review, I decided to go with a pro/con list to show you just where the fabulous Paradise Curve falls on the spectrum of awesomeness.

Pros:

- The Paradise Curve is all about the nubs. That is, the three strategically placed nubs that offer up the most simulating vibrational nubbiness I’ve ever experienced.

- Made of hard silicone, this vibe is designed to go deep into your pussy and reach your G-Spot with ease and still be long enough to reach comfortably.

- It’s got a perfectly positioned bullet – in the top of the toy (the insertable end) instead of the base, which means that gives just right the amount of power directly on your G-Spot. 

-The stiff nubs stay put exactly where you need them.

-The controller has four vibrating levels (gotta love some options, though being a jackhammer type of girl, I totally discarded the first three. For me, level one is pointless).

- It’s waterprooof!  Enough said!

- You can use this as an external clit stimulator as well. This is where I get the best of both worlds, rub the Lucid Dream Vibrator on the clit, get all lubed up from personal juices and then slip it on into the hot spot.

- The top is a bit thicker than the bottom so that first penetrating push is done with pleasure full pain. Not too big at all, just enough to give you that, clinch your stomach it’s coming in, feeling!

- Low noise factor – just a hum. Not bad at all. In fact, would not be able to hear it if it’s on the inside of you.

- It requires 2AA batteries which are easily installed.

Cons:

- It has a wire. It’s really not that big of a deal, but if it were wireless, it would be all that and a bag of chips.
 

Added Bonus:

There are nubs on the back-top side where the wire leads into, and I’ve not quite figured out what those nubs are for, other than for grip??? It makes my toy look like some type of a dinosaur with spikes – and it’s green to boot.

From this list it’s clear that I totally loved the Paradise Curve.  Most toys I buy are in the heat of the moment they get used once and they go into my box o’plenty, but this sweetie has performed for me already three times in the past week. That’s got to say something for its pleasure! Five star in my star book!
