I never thought I’d hear myself saying this, but I wonder how much money it would cost for a plane ticket to Lansing, Michigan? And lucky for us, Butch Boi has harnessed (total pun intended) the hotness of the state capital into thirty-three minutes of fabulous queer XXX action.

From fucking atop a washing machine in the opening moments, to about twenty minutes of additional still photos after the movie, this flick pretty much tops the list of amateur queer/trans porn I’ve ever seen. In fact, it’s the D.I.Y. feel makes it so good for me. Whether or not this is really the case, the movie looks like a bunch of friends got together and decided to make a porn of how they fuck, complete with all the giggling, passion and excitement that comes along with screwing your buddies. The whole thing has a sort of 8mm film feel and even though there is music, you can still hear dialogue and laughing in the background, which I love. All in all, it looks like everyone was having a really good time.

While I really liked all the scenes and think they each had something special to offer, my favorite of the bunch was definitely scene 4. A quick note before I talk about the scene: I don’t know how these performers identify, so I’m gonna stick with vague, male-ish descriptors and gender neutral pronouns and go from there. Ok, back to the sex! The scene starts with two folks standing up and fucking. The dude getting it is up in the air, with legs up and wrapped around the dick wielding stud, with an additional guy helping hold up our fucked buddy. Pretty awesome so far, right? There was just something about the freedom of motion and swinging thrusts that really made the scene that much hotter. The loud grunting, moaning and thumping base just added to that ultra steamy sex appeal. I just love the fact that it was a threesome with only one naked person. Plus, the action goes right into an amazing shower scene, which was definitely my second favorite of the six.

All in all, this movie is a fun and sexy reminder that you don’t need big budgets, professional lighting or fancy cameras to bring super hot action to the screen. If you’ve got the passion and the performers, you’ve got an awesome porno right there. Oh, and it reminds me to book my flight…

Not too long ago, we received a new movie from Buck Angel Entertainment that takes a look at some rare early footage of our favorite man with a pussy! Whenever we get a new Buck movie, I’m thrilled and once again Mr. Angel does not disappoint.

Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls: I really love the new direction Maria Beatty has taken in her last three films and after reading JD’s review of this movie, I was all geared up to watch it. Of course, it slipped my mind until basically now. Beatty is always brilliant and I haven’t heard a bad thing about this one.

American Cream: I’m sure you noticed that I love both gay and classic porn. Well, this one covers both and was an GAYVN Award Nominee for Best Classic Release in 2008. Plus, the Village Voice declared it one of the best pornos ever! Anyways, the description sold me: This unusual feature film is a three-vignette fuck flick that doubles as a social commentary on Americans and their complex relationship with desire and authority. Sounds pretty interesting, right?

John Wayne Bobbitt Uncut (Bonus Feature: Frankenpenis): Don’t act like you’re not curious. I’m usually the first person to check out any movie starring psuedo-celebrity but I just totally forgot about this one until now. Who can pass up this one up knowing that it also contains Frankenpenis!?

For those of you who don’t know, the AVN Awards are basically the Oscars of Adult. Take the red carpet glamor and long winded speeches of Hollywood’s big night – add a healthy does of porn – and you’ve got the industry’s biggest night of the year.

While the evening belongs to the big money studios, they also pay homage to some smaller studios and films – which tend to be the movies I prefer. So, in no particular order, here are my top five 2009 AVN Award nominees.

The Girl Sessions: Nominated for the 2009 AVN Award for Best Amateur Release, The Girl Sessions is probably my favorite AbbyWinters release of last year. I love Chloe B., who appears in 6/9 scenes, and the fun vibe of the entire film. There’s lots of giggling and kissing before the girls get down and dirty, which always sets the mood for me! It’s been a big year for these Aussie girls and I wouldn’t be surprised if they cap it off with a win.

Not Another Porn Movie: We’re kind of in love with Joanna Angel and this movie is my favorite spoof of the year. They take a crack at the industry’s attempt at plot, porno soundtracks and low production values in five scenes packed full of amazing sex! If you’ve ever rolled your eyes as a pizza dude asks who ordered a large sausage, you’ll love this funny flick.

Even More Bang For Your Buck 2 : This one was nominated for Best Transsexual Release and I hope to Christ it wins. Buck was the first F2M performer to ever be named Transsexual Performer of the Year back in 2007. He’s one hot queer who deserves a truckload of awards for turning the industry on its head with his amazing trannie porn.

Roller Dollz: Roller Derby is all the rage and the awards committee apparently took notice of this feature, which is nominated for seven awards. Alektra Blue is amazing in this one and the story is actually worth watching, if you can stand to wait for the next hot sex scene. This one is packed full of big stars and intense fucking and one of the best Alt titles of the year.

Boundaries: I was really happy to see Triangle Films’ Boundaries was nominated for Best All-Girl Series this year. They’re a pretty new studio and one of few “lesbian” studios that has actual lesbians running it! I know, it’s crazy! The Boundaries series is a little more edgy than a lot of their films, which is one of the reasons I think it’s great.
