Well, ok, they like porn.  A lot.  They like me too, but just cause I bring the porno.  J.D. here, reporting from insanely sunny Palm Springs, CA. at The Dinah!  Like I just said, the girls love the porno and pretty much everyone has been really excited to see us coming up with our cute I <3 Girl Porn shirts on and our arms full o’ free min cards and stickers.

Last night was the 2nd opening party (not sure why we get two.. but I’m not complaining), which was awesome!  Lots of dancing and the craziness only a bunch of lezzies can bring.   Everyone loves a sticker and apparently wants to slap it right on a boob as soon as they get it.  I’ll post pics later, when I figure out how…

After a long day of travel we made it to Palm Springs yesterday in time to hit the opening party down at Mixies! Decked in our finest lesbian gear (jeans & t-shirts) we showed up appropriately late to a packed house full of girls who are definitely looking to make the most out of this weekend.

One of my favorite things about the opening party is that there are a lot of women who traveled a long distance to get here. I mean, if you’re going to fly in from New Zealand, you get here Wednesday to make sure you don’t miss out on one second of the action. We met women from Japan, Germany and everywhere in between and it turns out that, as I suspected, they love porn!

As a Dinah Ho, I have developed a very complex strategy to maximize our daily partying, without burning out before the closing party on Sunday. I can’t let you in on the dirty details quite yet , but it does involve staying hydrated, handcuffs and a lot of pool side rest.

We left a little on the early side (you try partying into the wee hours of the night after waking up at 4 am to fly out of your small regional airport) but I definitely have a good feeling about this weekend.

Tomorrow I have to get up at some ungodly hour to catch a plane bound for sun, girls and mediocre beer. While I’m obviously not excited about getting up to be at the airport at 5, I am super excited to get to Palm Springs for what promises to be an unforgettable weekend.

You’ll see us around all starting Wednesday night, so if you notice a girl who looks like a lot of fun wearing a porn shirt, come say hello! We’ll also have a table at the Doral pool party Saturday afternoon, but why wait to introduce yourself?

J.D. and I will be blogging every day, so if you can’t get to Dinah this year, at least live vicariously through us. We don’t mind.

I’m most looking forward to seeing Pat Benatar, although the thought of breaking out my bikini is pretty exciting for this New England girl. Dinah Shore 2008, the nation’s biggest lesbian party, is now officially one month away! Wooohoooo!

We’re sponsoring the event again this year, which means J.D. and I will be heading out to Palm Springs April 2 –6 for five sun-filled days and insane nights with the hottest women on the planet. Club Skirts has outdone themselves this year, planning a star-studded event featuring Jane Lynch, Leisha Haley, and Pat Benatar – just to name a few!
