Sometimes, I like to watch porn off the clock. It might be hard to imagine that someone who spends 40 hours a week dealing with pornography would also spend their free time engaging in the medium, but I’m just that much of a perv. Anyways, this weekend I was going through my DVDs and saw Comstock Films’ Damon and Hunter and knew how I’d be spending the rest of my evening. I was inspired by its greatness and decided that it was high time I remind our faithful readers about the insane awesomeness that is Comstock Films.
Just the fact that I own not one, but two of their DVDs should say something. I mean, I have access to almost 100,000 movies online, so a movie has to really blow my mind for me to spend my hard earned bucks on it.
So I’m sure you’re wondering what exactly makes Comstock’s movies stand out from the billion other movies I’ve seen. There are a few things that make the difference for me – the most important being the amazing chemistry Comstock captures on film by working exclusively with couples. He takes the time to interview each couple in depth, so you feel like you know them by the time the clothes start coming off. For those of you who need more than a close up of a penis ramming into any given orifice, I’ve never seen more honest and open adult films.

Here’s another “sexumentary” from Comstock Films. I love the style of this studio’s movies. The couple starts out by discussing how they met, how they got together, what kind of sex they are having, and a bevy of other subjects. The conversation is punctuated with little teasers of what comes after the talking ends - a full start to finish sex scene that is 100% real and genuine. They kiss the way they like to kiss, fuck the way they like to fuck, and let me tell you, they know what they like, and it is unbelievably hot. I really like this format, because it allows you to begin to get to know the couple before watching them have passionate and real sex. I thought the sex between these two guys was amazing, and it was beautiful how hot and intimate they were together. Sometimes, I’m just in the mood for gay porn, and I have to say that this one completely satisfied that need.

Another fabulous sex-umentary from the director who brought us “Marie and Jack” and “Xana and Dax.” This couple is just too adorable, and one wouldn’t picture them making a movie about sex, which makes it even more interesting. They truly are a real couple, and their love and passion for one another shines through the screen in this film. He talks about how he was originally attracted to her because she was a real life woman who wore garter belts on a regular basis, and she was enamored with his security guard uniform. After a long friendship, they stopped beating around the bush, and once they got together, they’ve never parted. Yes, they may be having incredible mind-blowing sex, but there is also a clear and strong foundation to this relationship as well. After spending many years taking care of their family, they’ve finally been able to branch out on their own, and as the title says, they’re better than ever. I love this format, but for those who want just more of the “real people” sex and less of the chat, the second half of the movie is all sex sex sex, so fast forward if that’s your thing (but I personally like the first half, where you get to know the couple, so give it a try!). Enjoy - I know I did!
