I like toys that are versatile and as soon as I got my hands on this little vibe my mind started racing with the possibilities. It’s marketed as a g-spot toy, but there was no doubt in my mind that it would end up in my ass with a flared base like that!
Let’s start off with the details. This is the smallest version of the G-Play and perfect for beginners. It’s made out of high-grade silicone that is phthalate-free and can be sterilized by wiping it down with a ten percent bleach solution. This small toy is 3.5 inches long with a circumference of just 2.5 inches. It’s really not much bigger than my pointer finger and has a thought out curve that fits well with my body.
The vibrator is pretty simple and runs on one AAAA battery, which is included. It hasn’t run out of juice yet and hoping it lasts a while, since I’ve never seen a AAAA battery in my life. There’s only one speed, and while it’s not super powerful, it definitely adds a new dimension to the toy that I appreciate.
When it comes to performance, I have to say I’m happy with this toy and love it’s versatility. I’ve used it vaginally and anally, and while it’s not something I’d grab for a quick O, it’s a lot of fun to just wear while fooling around. It also really added to my orgasms and who am I to complain about that. I thought it was great for anal play and is currently my go to anal toy. I’m not big into hardcore anal, but do realize a little extra stim goes a long way!
The Nexus G-Play is definitely a toy that should be considered by every one. I’m not a dude, but I’m guessing that it would be great for men who are interested in anal play and p-spot stimulation and are looking for a small toy to get started with. Earlier this month I ran a workshop on anal play for a local toy shop. Since the class turned out so great and people had so many great questions, I decided to share my handout with our HM4Her readers to make sure that you guys are getting the best of the best when it comes to sex education. There was so much info that I had to break it into two parts (check out Intro to Anal Play, Part 1)! What what in the butt, let’s get to it!
In the first section I covered all the basics of why people have anal sex, the fears surrounding anal play, the expectations involved with anal sex and all of the basic anatomy of the butt. Now we get to talk about safety, prep, techniques and toys – all the super sexy good stuff!
Safety Basics
- Anal sex should not hurt. If it hurts, you are doing something wrong.
- Lube, Lube Lube, Lube, Lube! When it comes to butts, you can never use enough lube! Your ass does not self lubricate (like a vagina) so lube is super, extra important. For anal sex, thicker lubes are great. Your best bet is either silicone or water-based lube (as oil-based lubes can weaken condoms, if you are using them), but remember that you cannot use silicone lube with silicone toys. There is no one I would trust more with my ass than Tristan Taormino. You don’t get the title of anal sex queen for nothing and Tristan more than lives up to her moniker with this instructional butt sex for boys movie – not to mention her entire line of anal awareness flicks.
My favorite part about Tristan Taormino’s instructional movies is the way she educates without ever making you feel like you are learning something. What I mean is that she never makes it boring or tedious, even when she’s pointing out a prostate on the anatomy chart. Educating like that a pretty difficult feat and she has mastered it with grace and ease. If I end up being half the educator that Tristan Taormino is, I will consider myself to be doing a good job.
And Ms. Taormino keeps it hot hot hot. I think I retained all the new info so well because I was watching Penny Flame fuck Devin’s asshole up and down the screen. With lots and lots of lube, of course. It really is such a shame that Penny Flame left the business, because she is an amazing performer with an energy and enthusiasm that I don’t see very often. She was definitely my favorite part of this video, after Tristan, of course.

As I mentioned a couple of time in the last week, I facilitated a workshop on anal play for a local sex toy store. Not only did the workshop go wonderfully, the people that attended had awesome questions to ask. It was a great help to have questions asked to make sure that all their fears and needs were being met and discussed, but it also showed me how very much people want to know specifics about sex and have no way of getting the info unless they are given it. Ok, sure, they can go online and look it up, but does that mean they will be getting accurate, non-judgemental sex information? Not necessarily.
So, thanks to all the awesome questions I recieved, I decided to offer up my workshop handout to HM4Her readers to make sure that you guys are getting the best of the best when it comes to sex education. This info will be cut into two parts – there is a lot to learn and I want to make sure I have enough room to get it all out!
What what in the butt, let’s get to it and start at the bottom!
To begin, I thought it would be good to talk about why people have anal sex. The simple reason: because it feels good! Ok, sure it feels good, but there’s more than just that. The butt is a totally overlooked orifice that is rich in nerve endings and lots of tissue that is just waiting to be stimulated and excited. Because anal sex has such a taboo around it, the whole experience can feel naughtier and more risque, which can make it even hotter to some people. Plus, it can take a lot of trust when it comes to a taboo experience, so some people consider anal sex to be more intimate and only want to it explore it with that extra special someone. No matter how you view anal sex, it can be an exciting and pleasurable experience. As anal sex expert Tristan Taormino says: an emotionally charged act + a super sensitive spot fill of nerve endings = amazing orgasms! Can you go wrong with that?
Fears
Anal sex can be intimidating or scary to some people, especially if they’ve heard stereotypes or negative experiences from other people.
Here is a list of a few stereotypes and fears that we came up with in the workshop:
- You can damage your butt and have to wear diapers.
- If you like anal sex and you are a guy, it means you’re gay.
- You might have to deal with poop.
- Anal sex hurts really bad and I always will.
- Your ass is only an exit.
With all the stigmas and stereotypes, no wonder so many people have so many hang ups about anal sex! By the end of this Anal 101, I will adress all of these issues/stereotypes and try to put our fears to rest.

I’m not sure if you noticed this, but everything Tristan Taormino touches basically turns to gold. Whether she’s tackling open relationships in her latest book or teaching the masses the joys of anal sex in her educational video series - she consistently produces amazing sex ed materials. And if you’ve checked out any movies in her Chemistry series, you know she can shoot a pretty hot porno too! What did you learn at Babeland that helped you in the wide world of sex education after you left? I think one of the most important lessons for me was to leave my own sex life out of it, and approach everyone without any judgment. I needed to meet each person where they were at. When someone said, ‘I am looking for something big,’ I asked them to show me what they meant, rather than assuming. You need to listen to people, empower them to ask for what they need and want.
You’ve long been seen as the “Anal Sex Guru” – did you have any idea starting out that you would become so associated with that particular sexual activity? Well, I did write the book on the subject! Really, I don’t feel pigeon-holed or anything. If I am forever known as the anal sex expert, I am okay with that.

There’s a first time for everything and this was my first time with a bendy beaded anal toy from Fun Factory. On that note, this was my first time with any anal toy. In knowing that, cut me a break on my cheesy descriptive review.
My Bendybeads are red and as you guessed it, bendy. I prepared myself mentally for what I was about to do. I got out my Wild Fire mini-vibe and a shit load of lube.
In using so much lube, it posed a bit of a problem hanging onto my beaded beast. I started off very slowly, just rubbing the bumps of the beads along my backside. Hmm, that actually felt kind of pleasant. There is a ring at the end of my beads so I could have some sense of control over it.
However, hanging onto the ring and attempting to insert the first bulb was pointless. Like stated above, it bends. Just about landed in the wrong hole, which got me thinking. But we’ll try that a different time. So back to my problem with having a lot of lube on my toy…I got a hold of the first bead and applied a bit of pressure and in it went. Now, this is not so bad, in fact feels kind of nice. I can see why men enjoy each other so much. This can open up a whole new world for me. Since the first bead felt good, the second one should feel better. So, a little more pressure and both are now in.

Ever since J.D. and I were accosted by a woman who decided I didn’t look like a girl who likes porn, I’ve wondered about what a dirty girl looks like. She obviously does not look like this:
