Typically, I wouldn’t have much interest in a porn movie with director’s commentary. I mean, how much can we really learn about what happened that day that’s of interest. However, when I saw that Babylon Pink had been re-released with commentary from visionary Cecil Howard, I had to check it out. For those of you who aren’t drowning in information about pornography, Babylon Pink is often argued as being the one of the best Erotic films of all time. Director Cecil Howard is a member of the AVN Hall of Fame and one of the most respected directors in the industry. While I could continue to list the numerous awards this movie has been showered with, I won’t because that’s not what’s important. What’s important is that every aspect of this film is of high quality. The list of stars (including Vanessa Del Rio!!) is off the chart, the story is both interesting and plausible, and most importantly, the sex is fun and sexy as hell.
