Top Five Tuesday – Judging a Porn By Its Cover

They say you can’t judge a book by its cover, but I’m pretty sure that old adage doesn’t apply to XXX flicks. I suppose a lot of it has to do with production qualities and the fact that if Belladonna is on the box cover of a porno, I’m probably going to watch it based on that and freaking love every second of it. Here are five movie I watched because I liked the cover that I think you’ll love too!

Bang That Bitch 4: This is the perfect example of picking a movie based on the cover. If anyone but Belladonna had been on it, I would have never given it a second glance. She’s super hot in this scene, which is a little older and also stars Nick Manning. God, I love that woman…

Turned On!: When I first saw Al Parker on the cover of this movie I had to know more about him so I clicked play. He was insanely gorgeous and this movie is one of my favorite classics. It’s just bizarre enough to keep you thinking… Parker led an interesting life before passing too soon.

Post Apocalyptic Cowgirls: I love everything I’ve seen by Maria Beatty, but I couldn’t have been more excited when I saw the fancy pants cover for this hot lesbo flick. It’s dirtier than a lot of Beatty’s earlier work – but what would you expect after seeing Surgeon roughing up London on the cover!

The Adventures Of Buck Naked – Director’s Cut: I had never heard up Buck Angel when this movie landed on my desk. I was immediately smitten by this muscle bound stud who just happened to have a vagina. I’m sure you’re all pretty aware that I am currently obsessed with Buck, but this is the movie that started it all thanks to one sexy image.

WhoreLore Season 1: Episode 02 – Pirate Booty: I’ve always dreamed of watching an Elven Princess get fucked by a pirate, and when I saw the cover of this movie I thought I might finally get to see that happen!!! Whorelore is a great series for those of you who love sci-fi and is pretty freaking amusing for those of you who don’t, like me.

Top Five Tuesday – Gay Male Porn Stars

For this week’s Top Five Tuesday, I thought I would highlight the hottest Gay Male Porn Stars (according to a huge lesbian). I’m not sure if it’s weird or not, but I tend to prefer super masculine men and that is definitely reflected in my picks. Maybe at some point I could do the five hottest twinks, because they will are noticeably missing from this list!

Al Parker: Al Parker stands out among porn actors in the late 1970′s and worked as an actor, director and producer. He was insanely handsome and my gay favorite star from the golden age of porn. So far, I love his performance in Turned On! best. It’s a great movie that shows why his work is still so popular.

Johnny Hazzard:You’d think I’d run out of praise for this Rascal Video star, but I haven’t. Hazzard is stunning and in electric in every scene I’ve ever seen him in. He won the 2006 GAYVN for Best Actor for his work in Wrong Side of The Tracks and my heart.

Jason Tiya: Where to start? Jason Tiya, the 2006 GAYVN Award Nominee for Best Newcomer, is one of those performers who demands your eye in every scene. His work for Dark Alley Media is amazing, but my favorite performance is in Lights & Darks, when he pounds Brett Michaels relentlessly!

Pedro Andreas: I’m sure that anyone with eyes will understand why Pedro is on this list. He’s absolutely gorgeous and has a perfect body. What really makes him stand our for me is that he’s totally a sucker for love! That’s right, Mr. Andreas and his partner, performer Daniel Marvin, always play together. Of course, to keep things interesting they’ll invite a friend into the mix… Pedro and Daniel – Private Sessions is a must see in my book. It’s pretty amazing to see two men in love fuck on camera.

Matthew Cameron:Last, but certainly not least, is the uber-masculine Diamond Pictures exclusive Matthew Cameron. For all of you who love gay porn, I’ve got an interesting one for you today! I’m a big fan of Bijou Video and owner Steven Toushin, so I want to share a bit of their history. Toushin, owner of the Bijou Theater, the oldest gay theater and sex club in the U.S, has battled on the behalf of the adult industry for almost 40 years. He’s been arrested 35 times, taken part in five federal trials, and been jailed twice and still continues on. Bijou Video owns the rights to an amazing catalog of classic gay titles, including “Turned On!” This movie features a couple of very beautiful men, Al Parker and Sky Donovan, and it’s a bizarre tale of lust and obsession. After spotting Donovan in a bar, Parker follows him into the bathroom only to find he has disappeared. Fortunately, there is a young, hot blonde who he fucks in a stall, but his mind is still with Donovan. The rest of this classic sends Parker on a dream-like quest for his object of desire. My favorite fantasy element was the gallery of manly-men that includes a cowboy, a construction worker, and the rest of The Village People. The film culminates in an intriguing orgy where every man except Parker is wearing a Sky Donovan mask. The result was dehumanizing, but spellbinding for me. This is one I will be thinking about for a while…
