Today’s review is for the three part Wild Ride Kit from Good Vibrations!
Normally when you pick up a sex position book, you’d flip through the pages and see picture after picture of people fucking in all different contorted ways. Thumbs up for Dr. Sadie Allison, who travels way passed that with her awesome instructional Ride’em Cowgirl: Sex Positions for Better Bucking!
Offering over 90 different possible bucking positions, Dr. Allison doesn’t just slap down the picture, she tells you why to get into a certain position, why it will feel good, how to reach the ultimate orgasm, how to make it a multiple, how to help your partner with his HE-Spot, while he touches your G-Spot.
She does an excellent job at touching on some very ‘not so talked about’ subjects, and the language she uses in her book is easily understood, yet very informative. I love that the points she touches on are helpful to many different audiences. For example, if you’ve never masturbated or had an orgasm, she explains how to go about it, slowly but successfully.
There are many important parts of sex, other than just the act itself. The prep – there is cleanliness, grooming, partner consideration. Dr. Allison spends a good deal of time and detail on kissing, dry humping, foreplay, which are so very important. A few in particular that I enjoyed: the HE-Spot and the Backdoor Boogaloo. How often do you get tips on cleaning up the possible poop? She covers it.
Dr. Sadie’s layout of the book is for couple reading. A major fault among couples is the fear of expressing desires in bed, feeling you may be way out of line, or scare the hell out of your partner. If you’re reading this side by side, the embarrassment part is removed by ‘reading’ it. You can ask your partner at that time, is this something that would interest you? You never know, your partner’s favorite position may be the Banana Split, and you never knew.
This kit comes with a 2 oz bottle of Please Liquid Lubricant. It’s described as glycol-free and it’s water-based. It states it’s non-sticky, but after a bit of use, if you’re not producing any of your own lube, you’re going to want to add more – a lot more, or it does tend to get sticky. It’s also labeled as a lube that is perfect for people with sensitivities. I can’t attest to this, as I don’t have any sensitivity issues.
Now the toy that comes along with this caught me a little off guard. I’ve seen it a thousand times in the stores but never purchased one. It’s a Screaming O manufactured O Yeah Super-Powered Vertical Vibrating Ring. Sounds complex, right? Well, it’s not at all. When I first opened it, I stretched it out around the ring and thought ‘ouch, that has got to be for the tiniest little weenie,’ but it’s not. It stretches enough to fit around three fingers all the way up to the base. This helps for a guy to hold his erection for longer and be harder for HER enjoying pleasure.
This toy has a vertically mounted head which hits the spot while vibrating. There is a single nub which claims to be a continued clitoral stimulation, but honestly, I couldn’t tell if it were there or not. The design of the shaft has tons of nubs, now those I could feel. Oh yes, I could feel. The bullet is a one click wonder. The speed is very doable and the noise not so bad, when you’re in the throes of passion, you can’t hear it singing.
My only issue with this is going to be a statement from my partner: “Tell ’em to shave all pubes, because it pulls like hell!” The ring is stretchy, true, but it tends to roll. If you’re stretching it out as tight as possible to put it on, DON’T just let go. Hee hee, I mean – ouch. But don’t try to roll it, it grabs skin and hairs. Just a heads up! However, for my lesbian friends, no problem slipping this over a nice stiff strap-on. No hairs or skin rolling to worry about.
This is a great kit to buy for a weekend away with your partner. After the aww of being away together, you can get down and dirty with some cowgirl bucking. Then after lunch, you can get back to a completely new idea from the book. It offers endless ways to please one another. Then after dinner, pick another page and buck away! Enjoy.
