Like I said above, I chose these clamps because they are totally adjustable. Shaped like tweezers (hence the name), the clamping part is covered by rubber tips that keep the metal from cutting or scratching you and keeps the clamp clamped to you. The ends slide over your nipple and a little metal bit at the bottom pulls up to squeeze the tips together and hold your nipple tight. Being a beginner, I started slowly and only pulled the bit up a little to pinch my nipple slightly, then when I was ready went a little more. After both were on, my girlfriend flicked the clamps a little with her finger, sending shocks of pleasure down my body. Very nice. This also happened when she gave the chain a little tug. The weight of the chain give the nipple clamps the perfect amount of tension and pulls them just right. And even with a harder pull, they didn’t come off my nipples. Rubber tips = awesome.

Taking them off was really where the pain came in for me. Not bad pain, mind you, just that extra little sensitivity that intensified even the slightest of touches. Basically, it was awesome.

I highly recommend these nipple clamps for the person who wants to start testing their limits. Sure, they’ll work for advanced players too, but I think that they might not squeeze hard enough for some.
