Sometimes it’s fun/necessary for couples to have a little toy play in the bedroom. That thought definitely influenced my desire to try out the Tongue Joy for review; unfortunately by the time it arrived, I didn’t really have a partner to test it out with. No problem, the tongue joy has a number of differently sized bands that easily can be attached to a finger for some alone time celebrations.
First thing I noticed about the Tongue Joy when I got it – the pieces. Even without opening up the package there seemed to be a million tiny little pieces just begging to be lost in one area or another during frantic fumbling. Indeed opening up the packages, which contained more packages, I immediately almost lost one of the included batteries under my living room table. As I carefully laid out all the pieces on my living room table and checked out the assembly instructions it became really clear to me that the Tongue Joy is most definitely not a spur of the moment bedroom toy.
Several minutes of careful assembly and trying on attachments later, I’d found the right fit and had the toy activated around a finger. There’s no on or off switch with the Tongue Joy, you just have to insert the batteries to get this toy started, which made me wonder about the battery life on the little device though it also comes with a wall attachment in case you run out of juice at an inopportune moment or want to give the toy an added umph. Balanced on my finger with the rubber band, I couldn’t feel much of the vibrations in my hand at all – which was awesome as my first few hand held vibes tended to make my hands go numb before my climax. I have to admit that the Tongue Joy definitely did have enough power to get the job done and secured on my finger, it offered some unique experiences.
After that, there was just one thing to try - cleaning off the toy, finding the right band and trying it on my tongue as intended. Again the vibes were strong but didn’t pass between the band and my tongue enough to be uncomfortable. A word of warning though, be careful how you place the Tongue Joy on your tongue! The wrong position can lead to some really unpleasant sensations in your teeth if you close your mouth on the device. I didn’t have any conceivable loss of motion with it straddling my tongue though the added weight might get tiring during a long session of clit loving and I couldn’t imagine fitting it in my mouth along with some larger cocks either.
Unfortunately despite it amply handling the job on my finger, I can’t give the Tongue Joy high marks. It’s just too clunky to use in the heat of a passionate moment, requiring way too much thought, care and effort to be grabbed in the spur of the moment, even using it alone is bound to be more work getting to the starting point than just about any other toy. It might have some potential during a slower more romantic ‘lay back and enjoy’ session, but the amount of prep work still seems prohibitive to me.
