There isn’t much sexy about a dildo protruding out of someone’s thigh. It’s just true. That’s the funny thing about sex toys. Sometimes they aren’t all that sexy until they are engaged in a sexy act. And there isn’t much sexier to me than being on top of my girlfriend, grinding into any part of her. So while the leg harness is a little odd to look at at first, you get over it when you get into it.

The harness basically works like a knee brace (totally hot comparison, I know), wrapping around the thigh and fastening with Velcro. A sewn-in O-ring holds the dildo base tight against your thigh, leaving the business end of the dildo available for doing business. The Velcro holds the harness in place really well and keeps the dildo from moving around. No matter what position we tested, the harness stayed put. We didn’t even need to adjust it or re-Velcro as we moved around.

Speaking of positions, let’s get into how this thing works in action. First position we tried was me on top, straddling her leg as she lay on her back. This not only gave me all the control over my own depth of penetration and movements, it left her exposed for me to play with as well, which a traditional harness would not. Bonus move – this position works great if the harness wearer bends their knee a little. Then it becomes modified doggie style, but you still get face to face contact!

We also flipped and reversed it, with me on my back and her on top, still wearing the harness. This position wasn’t quite as easy as the first, but we found a rhythm once we figured out the best way to angle ourselves. I preferred laying back on pillows and not flat to get the best angle that worked for us, but of course everyone is different so be sure to experiment.

Lastly, we tried the leg harness in sitting position. While the box touted this toy as perfect for the “ultimate lap dance,” I did not really enjoy the harness on her lap. Even straddling her leg made me feel awkward like I was sitting on Santa Claus’ knee at the local mall. It probably didn’t help when I starting singing “Santa Baby” in her ear and let’s just say she was less than thrilled when I asked her for a pony.

Since playing, I’ve read in other reviews that the leg harness is great for sex laying side by side, especially for folks with mobility issues or disabilities. Though I haven’t tried it myself, this seems like it would be a very relaxing and sexy position. Looks like I just made plans for this evening!

The dildo that came with was a little short and thin, so next time I might want to switched it out for something a little bigger. It was 100% silicone and decent quality, so I know it will make me very happy on those days when I’m looking for a toy that’s a little smaller. I might try the harness with Bandito, but I think the base may be too big. Oh well, I’m sure I’ll find the perfect fit.

All in all, the harness was fun to play with and a novel experience, but I doubt it will become a staple in my collection. Unless I get hurt. They I think it would really work as a knee brace. Damn those sex related injuries. I think I’ll stick with my tried and true traditional harnesses, like the Wild Angel - it’s sturdy, sexy and screws like a champ! What more could you ask for?
