To say I’ve wanted the Sasi for a long time is a complete understatement. Even since I first heard about this innovative vibe, I’ve been obsessed with getting my hands on one and thankfully the fine people at Je Joue hooked me up with one for review.

The Sasi is a rechargeable toy that looks a lot like a giant computer mouse and is designed to simulate oral sex. There is a little mechanical nub underneath the silicone sheath on the bottom that moves around like the most adept tongue. There are also three levels of vibration you can add to the mix if you want a little buzz too! I love the pressure of the mechanical ball combined with the pulsing vibrating body pressed up against me.

One of the most interesting things about the Sasi is the fact that you can teach it what patterns you like. There’s a “learning mode” where it scrolls through all of the available patterns (20 seconds each) and when you find something you like, you press a button to let it know. Once you’ve gone through a selected those that really rocked your world, this smart little guy updates the “favorite mode” and is ready to get to work. I really appreciate being able to play my favorites without having to go through a bunch that don’t really do it for me. It’s like falling into bed with an old lover who knows just what it takes to get you off. While I will admit that setting up my favorites was a little tedious, it was so worth it in the end.

I can definitely understand why women seem to either love or hate this toy and I don’t think it’s for everyone. My girlfriend tried it out and it just didn’t do it for her while I absolutely loved it. I mean, this isn’t a toy I’ll reach for when I’m looking to get off quickly, but it’s a fabulous toy to grab on a lazy Sunday morning. If you love oral sex and a light touch, I’m willing to bet you’ll like the Sasi too.

I’ve heard a few knocks on this toy, so I thought I’d try to address them honestly here. First up, this is a toy with a learning curve and while that isn’t ideal if you’re rushing home with your new purchase to bust out an orgasm, it’s worth the time to learn how to properly use it. If you’re someone who takes the instructional manual and throws it in the recycling bin without ever opening it, you could be in some trouble.

It is also not a toy for someone who can’t get off with anything that doesn’t plug into a wall. It’s probably the most subtle toy I own and you should have an idea of whether that will work for you before dropping the cash on it. If you love powerful toys or are looking for something to get you off quickly, keep looking!

Finally, I’ve heard people complain a little bit about cleaning the Sasi and, while I agree that it’s a little time consuming, I appreciate the fact that I don’t have to worry about water getting places it shouldn’t be and ruining an expensive toy. You basically have to pop off the silicone shield and clean that, but it takes a bit of patience to get it back on because it fits really tightly. To save myself some aggravation, I use a toy wipe to clean it every other time and that only takes seconds.

In the end, this is a toy that lives up to the hype for me, but I also recognize that it’s really not built for everyone and you should consider that before purchasing. If you think the Sasi will blow your mind, I can say you that it’s a well-built, body safe toy that I love!
