Yay for simple bondage gear! I’m not the type of girl who likes any sort of pain in my bondage play. At least I don’t think I am… That’s why I’m totally digging my new ankle cuffs, although I have to admit that I use them around my wrists. I guess the distinguishing difference between ankle and handcuffs would be size – but I could be totally wrong there since I’m kind of on the vanilla side.
These cuffs are great because they’re totally luxurious. I’m sure some of you aren’t looking for sensuous bondage gear, but if you are, these velvety soft padded cuffs will leave you helpless without any material cutting into your delicate skin.
The hardware is also quite sturdy. The sewn on D ring and clasp allow you to hook them to each other or other bondage toys, which is pretty standard but nice. They are really simple to use – the closure is made of Velcro and they hold tight. These are really great for beginners or those of you who like to be pampered and dominated!
We actually used them with the under the bed restraint system and the cuffs were definitely a step up. There was no way I was going to work my way out of them, but I also didn’t have to worry about chaffing or losing circulation as I have in metal handcuffs.
Another great thing is that these should fit just about any one. They’re designed for your ankles, but work just as well on wrists, although they are a little bulky and you can definitely buy smaller wrist restraints if that’s what you want. I also put them on around my lower thighs, just to see check the size and see how secure they would be. They fit well and I couldn’t pry my thighs apart!
Overall these are a great intro to bondage gear for those of you who are looking to experiment. They’re comfortable, easily adjustable, and can be combined with other bondage toys to create a seemingly unlimited number of options for play.
