Little and lavender. Probably two words I would have never expected to describe one of my favorite new vibes. But lo and behold, Fun Factory’s Mini Meany is definitely both little and lavender. While those two describers are dead on, I’m not exactly sure where Mini Meany got its name. Sure, it’s a pretty small vibe, coming in with a whopping 4.5 insertable inches, but Meany I don’t get… unless they are talking about the powerful buzz of this teeny toy. All the power packed into this little lavender toy could definitely classify it as one mean mini masturbator.
Unassuming and discrete, this little guy is the perfect size to pop right into a handbag or toss into a suitcase as you get your travel on (just be sure to take his triple A’s out for the ride – you definitely don’t want a security breach if he starts a-buzzing all by himself!). With three vibration patterns and multiple speeds to try, Meany is ready to take you from zero to sixty at a moment’s notice. While the vibe is a little loud when it’s just hanging out, once it’s inside your body, it’s quiet, smooth sailing all the way. And by sailing, I mean splash-proof, so take advantage (or really, let Meany take advantage of you) of a dirty dip in your shower, just be sure not to submerge him.
Made of Fun Factory’s amazing signature silicone, which always seems way silkier and nicer than any other silicone I’ve tried, the Mini Meany is totally phthalate free, hypo-allergenic and super easy to clean. While unfortunately you can’t boil it because of the electronic bits, you can definitely wipe Meany down with a 10% bleach solution to be able to share the wealth with your partners.
I had a little bit of trouble getting the batteries in when I first opened up the Mini Meany because the battery cover can screw on in a way that makes it unaligned. But once I got the cap on correctly the vibe rocked! I really like the plus and minus buttons, which made changing speeds and pulsation patterns super easy. Unlike other toys, I had no trouble working these buttons in the heat of the moment. Who really has time to figure out complicated switches and slides when all they want is to rev the speed? Not me, that’s for sure.
I will say that I usually prefer bigger toys for penetration, so this will probably not be my go-to toy for those times I’m looking for that, but if it’s clit stim I’m in the market for, the Meany is what I’ll be reaching for.
