I’ve reviewed a lot of toys in my tenure here at HM4Her, but not many as weird looking as the Lady Finger. It was the unique look of the toy that drew me to it in the first place. Imagine an alien finger coming at your bits and there you go – the Lady Finger. While for some people a strange looking toy is kind of a turn off, for me, I was excited to try something unlike anything I have in my collection.
I’ll admit that though the Lady Finger turned out to be a decent toy, my first impression of it out of the box was pretty negative. It doesn’t include batteries. I know that sex toys aren’t required to include batteries, but it’s really frustrating when all you want to do is get down, but first you need to dig through the junk drawer or raid other toys for the right battery size. Just for the record, you need 2 AA batteries.
Once I got the batteries into the little hand-held power pack, I turned it on to some pretty sweet buzzing. They aren’t super hardcore vibrations, but they are definitely enjoyable and really good if you want to relax and go slow. The Lady Finger’s pack also had my favorite type of vibrator control, the turn wheel. I love me some wheel because it lets you nudge the speed in whichever direction you choose, without accidently turning it off or revving it up too fast. I also really like that the speed dial is on the power pack and not the main toy, because sometimes if it’s on the toy it can be in the way, or totally inaccessible when I need to change the speed.
When I originally picked the Lady Finger for review, I never noticed it was considered to be a “clitoral stimulator” and just assume that it was for penetration as well, but now that I look back on Eden Fantasys, I see it categorized for the clit. Yes, the Lady Finger stimulates the clit, but it works just as well for vaginal penetration at the same time. I honestly thought that’s what the hooked part did, and from what I can tell, I was right.
But before heading downtown with my trusty new vibe, I removed the TPR sleeve. What was described as “velvety smooth” ended up feeling yucky and greasy to me. The safety info on the site says that the whole toy is phthalate free, but the sleeve gave off the same sickly sweet stench that jelly rubber gives off, so I ditched. But not before checking it out. The material was so elastic and weird that I just had to see what it could do. It stretches super far, and totally blows up like a balloon if you blown into it. Crazy experiments, huh? So, yeah, while the sleeve was ribbed and might have felt great, there was no way I was putting that up my cooch.
Even without the sleeve, the Lady Finger was pretty decent toy. The main piece of the toy is made of hard plastic, which I actually really enjoyed. I’m so used to playing with silicone toys that it’s nice to be filled up by something a little firmer. And because the Lady Finger lacks in girth, the rigid material makes it feel bigger than it is. The curve of the finger was pretty awesome and while it didn’t hit my G-Spot directly, it felt really good none the less.
The Lady Finger might not be the highest quality toy I’ve ever played with, nor did it totally blow my mind away with pleasure, but it’s a solid vibe with a bunch of redeemable qualities and definitely got me hot and bothered. I’d give it an even 2.5 stars and a warning to buy batteries.
Have some lovely lady finger fun with the Lady Finger!
