I’m not going to get all “try these 4 foods that will drive your partner wild” or “exercises that will make you last forever” on you. I just want to talk a little about healthy things you can do for yourself that also happen to improve your sex life.
1. Exercise – Increase blood flow, stamina and agility. If you’re feeling sluggish and a little like you could take or leave sex, perhaps you should try adding a little movement into your daily routine. Exercise can make you feel like being more active overall and it will give you what you need to make sweet sweet love (or dirty dirty fuck) all night long. Throw in some Kegel exercises while you’re at it.
2. Check your meds – Many people take medication for any number is reasons. Check to see if their are any sexual side effects of the drugs you’re taking. If there are, you can always do some research or ask your doctor if their are alternative meds that don’t have those side effects.
3. Tone down the junk food consumption – Yes, some foods can contribute to “better sex” I suppose. Almonds, for example, are rich in zinc which helps increase libido. My point here is that heavy foods stand a good chance of making you feel full and sleepy. While there is nothing wrong with enjoying a pizza every now and then, but if you’re filling up on fried foods and cheese every night, you’re probably not hopping in the sack for a wild night sex. Let your body use some energy for getting your hump on instead of digesting a triple cheeseburger.
4. Get some sleep – I know how hard it can be to get 8 hours of sleep, but if you don’t you’ll end up with less of an urge to get it on. And when you do, you probably won’t have what it takes to make it to the finish line. Get some rest!
