HotMovies4Her Sex Tips – 4 Things You Need To Know About The Clitoris

Last week J.D. talked about the vaginal orgasm so this week I thought I’d show a little love to the clitoris.  It is the best friend to many and continues to provide copious amounts of pleasure to the masses.  Freud once said that the clitoral orgasm was something that Clitoris - Thanks, Wikipedia!women grew out of once they hit a certain time in their life, and would move on to internal orgasms only.  You know what?  Fuck you, Freud.

1. The clitoris is an organ that contains a bundle of nerve endings (roughly 8,000!) and is made up of erectile tissue. The part that you see and love is called the clitoral head or glans clitoris.  It is located where the labia minora, or inner lips, meet and may be hidden completely, not at all, or somewhere in between by the clitoral hood.

2. There is more to the clit than what you see and rub on!  Following it further into the body you will find the shaft, which can grow from an unexcited 1 inch to 2 inches when the party gets started. Branching from the shaft are two legs (called the “crura”) that lie on either side of the vagina. There is also a network of nerves that extend into the body, possibly up to 4 inches.  Some folks even think the g-spot is an extension of the clitoris!

3. While many of you have had your face buried in many-a-vulva and/or have watched a lot of porn, some of you may only be familiar with your own. If this is the case then I’ve got some news for you: All clitori do not look the same!  All women and their genitalia are special and unique snowflakes.  The little man in the boat may be slightly exposed before arousal or you may barely ever see it at all.  The average size, the part you see anyway, is smaller than your pinky nail, but some are much smaller and some are much larger.  All of them are awesome!

HotMovies4Her Sex Tips - The Clitoris4. When aroused, the tissue fills with blood, which causes your labia to get engorged and the little pea becomes even more hidden by the hood. Why?  Because direct clitoral stimulation can be painful and/or annoying.  Indirect stimulation can be more comfortable and pleasurable. Like most things sex related, this isn’t necessarily true for all people.  Some enjoy direct clit stimulation.  Ask if you’re unsure where your partner stands!

BonusThe clitoris and the penis are quite similar.  Both have an abundance of nerve endings, both become erect when excited, and the clitoral hood and foreskin are related.  The clit is unique because it is the only known organ whose sole purpose is pleasure!  That’s right, it is simply there to make you feel good.
