Thanks to Groupon, we’re going to see the Old 97′s soon for twelve bucks. It’s going to be awesome and I’m pretty excited.
This is one of my favorite songs by them – mostly because I have a “straight” friend named Anette who totally tried to sleep with me every time she was drunk. She was crazy (in the best way) and always thought it was hilarious the next day. Once she even made me breakfast for being such a gentleman, which is like some sort of bizarro record.
When she got married a few years ago, we serenaded her with this song. Thankfully, her husband had been putting up with our crap for years and thought it was hilarious.
Anyways, this is kind of a crappy version, but it’s impossible to find anything but crap on youtube, so it’s not my fault.
