The 2009 Feminist Porn Awards, my favorite porn awards show of the year, is coming up later this week and not only am I super excited to see who takes home awards, I am extra thrilled because I get to be there! That’s right, HM4Her is sponsoring this grass-roots celebration of revolutionary sex positivity and hot, hot movies and I get to be a part of the action! I even get to present an award, which I am all squeallly (and crazy nervous) about. So, in honor of The Feminist Porn Awards taking place this week, I am dedicating the Top Five Tuesday to talking about my top five 2009 nominees. Picking only five titles out of the ridiculously awesome pool of nominees was really difficult and more than once I found myself thinking about renaming this week as “Top Ten Tuesday,” but eventually I settled on five that really grabbed my attention and had me fanning myself as I watched. Enjoy!

Couch Surfers – Trans Men In Action: Bois who like boys who like bois who like boys – all goin’ at it up and down the screen and takin’ cock wherever they can get it.  Fucking with gender and assumptions and lots of dicks all over the place, Trannywood is my kinda Trans Man Porn. Swooon.

Skateboard Kink Freak: As everyone knows, I love me some Michelle Aston. Seriously, a pervy, tattooed smarty-pants with a pension for pussy – does it get better than that? Scene three is my favie and a total must see.

Barcelona Sex Project: After winning the ‘Movie Of The Year’ award for Five Hot Stories For Her last year, director Erika Lust kicked up the awesomeness even more (if that’s possible) and brought us Barcelona Sex Project. A masturbation pornumentary, BSP follows six people around as they talk about their sexuality and go into in-depth interviews before get off solo style for the camera. This project is the perfect mix of intimacy and sexuality and really is a must see.

Voluptuous Biker Babes: Zaftig porno queen April Flores stars in this Carlos Batts (her husband) adventure about what happens when three diva dancers get caught in the middle of nowhere with a broken down car. Good thing a semi-deranged dancing cult finds them instead of a totally batshit crazy killer with a chainsaw, or this would have been a very different movie. Glamour and sass meet sex and sandy terrain, making this mildly hard to follow movie a winner in my book.
