About two month’s back, ScrewSmart, the sex education collaborative I co-run, was asked to come up to NYC and read at Audacia Ray’s amazing sex worker’s storytelling show The Red Umbrella Diaries. Falling right before Valentine’s day, the theme of the night was was ‘The Price Of Love,’ so each of us screws took the mic to give a personal spin on the topic.
I, of course, chose to talk about porn! I mean what else would I talk about, really? And not just talking about porn, but really how porn as affected my sex life, for both better and worse. Being the blogger that I am, I broke my ten minute piece into different sections and titled them all. Well, that and because I am so firmly Virgo about organization it hurts.
Not only did I get to wax poetic about porno to a packed house that evening, Audacia Ray tapes the show and creates a podcast for each story, so I get to share it here with you guys as well! Ah, technology, how I love thee.
