It’s that time of year again, when porno folks from all over the place are heading to Toronto for the Feminist Porn Awards!! And guess who gets to go again?! ME, that’s who!! As this posts on the site, I will be in mid-air, flying my way to the Great White North to help celebrate the best of the best in fabulous feminist porno!
This year the 5th Annual Feminist Porn Awards are kicking off tonight with an evening dedicated to showcasing some of amazing porn that earned nominations this year. The Provocative.Public/Porn: The Year’s Best in Feminist Film showing also includes a roundtable discussion with some of the amazing pornographers featured, including Tristan Taormino, Shine Louise Houston, Nica Noelle and more! How awesome does that sound?!?
And Friday night brings us to the actual awards, where some of my favorite movies are in the running to win this year. As well, I will FINALLY get to meet my zaftig porn heroine, April Flores! I’ve been looking forward to meeting this lady since I first started working with HM4Her and I can’t wait for it to finally happen! Also, I will get to spend a little time with some porno/sexy folks I don’t see often, including Jiz Lee, Courtney Trouble, Dylan Ryan, Alison Lee (of GoodForHer) and more. It feels like some pervy family reunion where I’m crossing my fingers that everyone gets loaded and breaks out the fireworks. Can you tell I’m excited?!?
Really, there is so much more going on, but I will keep that for my post FPA wrap-up! I’m sure I’ll have tons of stories! Until then!
