Barbie and Nina Hartley. I would never have thought that one would have anything to do with the other, but not only were the ladies born/created two days apart back in 1959 (Barbie on March 9th, and Nina on the 11th), but apparently, they have both faced some of the same issues in their lines of work (I guess whole life really, in Barbie’s case).
In fact, these gals have so much intertwined that Nina recently sat down to brunch with the 50-year-old (today!) icon to chat about their lives and loves.
Note: This piece totally, utterly confused me, but I also kind of loved it. Of course, I love anything Nina Hartley related, so really, it’s not such a stretch.
