Greetings from Palm Springs! Or should I say Lesbian Land 2010, because that’s what it seems like for these amazing five days every spring, when The Dinah rolls into town. For the last 20 years, lady lovin’ ladies from all over the place have been making the pilgrimage to this southern Cali desert town to experience all that is awesome in girlie pool parties and fabulous entertainment heavy evenings. Sounds pretty hot, right? And we are here to turn up the heat!
That’s right, HotMoviesForHer is back in town, sponsoring The Dinah again, and ready to preach the porno gospel to one and all. We got into town yesterday afternoon – traveling 2,300+ miles and changing time zones twice – and after some major settling in (as well as a delicious burrito dinner), we were ready to hit the hay. Ha! Yeah right! As exhausted as we were, we rallied ourselves and caught a second wind just in time to help celebrate the opening of Dinah Shore 2010! Luckily the party was about ten steps from our beds, at the hotel pool area.
The party was exellect – the perfect small gathering of early arrivers and The Dinah crew before the bunk of partiers hit town. We got a chance to meet a few awesome ladies and chat about the history of this wonderful event. We even talked to one woman that has been coming to The Dinah before it was even The Dinah!
I even got the chance to feel like a totally sexy nerd after a few Dinah staffers caught wind of my sex education background and wanted to talk about grad programs and academics. Swoon. Those gals sure know the way to this smarty perv’s pants… I mean heart (I keed, I keed – I’m taken! Sorry to all you ladies in line.)!
Even with the dance tunes pumping, the Bud Light flowing and all the gals ready to get their groove on, the exhaustion finally overtook us after a while and we had to hit the sack. But not to worry, that was only the PRE-opeing party – the real action begins tonight. And we are so ready! Watch out ladies, the porn peddlers are on their way!
