Happy Holiday Humpday from HotMoviesForHer.com!  Today is x-mas eve and hopefully most of you are off work today and hanging out at home, getting a day drunk on and watchin the pornos.  Or at least not in an airport or stuck driving 300 miles to see family.  Wherever you are, I hope you can take advantage of humpday traditions… and by that I mean link love!!  What else would I mean?  Sexin’, you say?  Gasp! My virgin ears!  Hopefully you’ll have time for humping and wont’t be plum tuckered out after catching up on all that’s new in sex news with week!

Let’s get to it!

-  The holiday season is blowing up when it comes to humping!  According to researchers, makers of sex-related products and the spike in fall births, this time of year is the time that people are gettin’ busy.  It’s nice that someone made it official by saying it, but really, it’s pretty “duh” if you think about it.  It’s fucking freezing outside and sharing body heat is the perfect way to lower your gas bill!  Oh, and drunk holiday parties + warm beds = lots of sex.  And I thought I wasn’t good at math…  (via TheFrisky)

- But all those people who are getting their booze buzz going at those aforementioned holiday parties should really look at the new research that says that binge drinking can make you crappy in bed.  How’s that for an attention grabbing PSA?  (via Jezebel)

- And sticking with the research theme, Mahmood Bhutta, a specialist in ear-nose-and-throat surgery at England’s Wexham Park Hospital, just put out a report in the Journal of the Royal Society of Medicine looking at the connections between sexual thoughts and sneezing.  I guess it’s better than thinking of sex and picking you nose. -Ok, on more research link, well, more of a survey really.  Sony and the University of Delaware conducted a survey of more than 2,400 gamers playing EverQuest II and not only found out that 40% of gamers are chicks, but that the incidence of bisexuality within the women that participated in the survey was five times higher than the general population!  Geeky girl-on-geeky girl action – who doesn’t love that?!  (via Heartless Doll)

-  Metro.co.uk highlights of some the weirdest sex stuff they’ve written about in 2008.  While they have some interesting stuff on the list, I wouldn’t necessarily call it “weird.”  Please, try reviewing porn all day long for a living, then you’ll see weird!  (via WSN)

- And lastly – but definitely not the slightest bit least - HMFH column writter and sex worker’s rights activist Audacia Ray gave a speech at the annual International Day To End Violence Against Sex Workers vigil in NYC on December 17th.  She posted a video of the speech on her blog, Waking Vixen.  Thought provoking and heartfelt, this speech is definitely one to watch.
