Happy Humpday!  Welcome back to the mid-week stretch.  And the mid-month stretch I guess too!  It’s October 14th, which means about two weeks until Halloween and about three til it gets too cold to leave the house sans mittens.  That butt plug above pretty much sums up how I feel about winter.  So let’s savor these chilly days and celebrate the fall while it’s still around!  Better yet, let’s savor Humpday and celebrate Wednesday with all the link love one blog post can take!

- Adam & Eve is back again with a 2009 sex toys Halloween costume contest!  Vote for your favorite, incuding the Goomba butt plug pictured above (it’s my favie!).

-  Heeb Magazine recently named their 2009 list of 100 jews you need to know, and guess who made the cut?  None other than porno heartthrob James Deen!  And Deen though winning 2009 AVN Male Performer of the Year was a honor.  Mazel Tov!  (Our other favorite chosen one, Joanna Angel, was on the list a few years back.)  (via Joanna Angel’s Twitter)

-  Speaking of Joanna Angel, the alt porn goddess is taking on some dude in a real life fight at Ellismania on October 24th in Vegas.  Apparently radio host/mixed-martial artist Jason Ellis puts on a giant fight every year and this time Angel is in the mix.  Hmm…. we’ve got no advice for you Joanna, but we can run up the Rocky steps a few times to show our support. (via Fleshbot)

- XBIZ recently profiled Fatale Media’s Founder/President/Producer Nan Kinney for their  monthly Women in Adult column.  Check out what the queer, indie pornographer has to say about being a butch chick in a dudes’ world… and so much more.  We <3 her!

- Last week we posted about Marge Simpson posing in Playboy, but Conan O’Brien (via HuffPo) let us know that she is far from the first cartoon charater to bare all on the glossy page.

- Gothamist featured porno smarty pants Lorelei Lee and talks all about how she pays her own way at super pricey NYC (where she is getting a Masters in Fine Art) by her work in smutty movies.  Three cheers for nerdy pervs!  Funny thing is, Lee will be more financially stable and own less debt after graduation than most of her classmates.  (via The Frisky)

- And lastly, this video comes via Tiny Nibbles and the minute I watched it, I knew I needed to share it with the masses.  Last Sunday was National Coming Out Day, and while this video may have been more helpful last week if anyone reading came out or had someone come out to them, but just think, you can alway send a belated card…
