Happy Humday to all you people trying to get over the mid-week slump.  It’s been pretty busy for the porno industry this week, what with the AVN Awards and Adult Entertainment Expo (AEE) descending upon Las Vegas over the last weekend.  Blogs and news sites have been updating all the good stuff that’s been going on down in Sin City and what new kinds of sexy fun we can expect to be having in 2009.

Here are some of the AVN/AEE links that caught my eye:

- Who doesn’t love a red carpet?  And no, not in the usual porno sense…

- Regina Lynn is ready to see all that cool sex toy gear that we are sure we are going to see at some point in our lifetime… hopefully sooner than later.

- Jamye Waxman is so freaking cute… especially in front of a wall of Fleshlights. Awww.

- The title of the Girls, Girls, Girls seminar at AEE did not go over all that well with the panelists in the group… which was comprised of some of the most important women in the industry, including Penthouse Films executive producer, Kelly Holland; Joy King, executive of Wicked Pictures and Babeland CEO Rachel Venning.  Ooops.  They probably should have stuck with the subtitle: “The Growing Power of Women in Adult Entertainment.”  None the less, it still looks like it was an awesome discussion.

- Even the folks over at TheFrisky made it to Vegas to check out the dirty wares.

Ok, that’s enough of all than business, let’s get to all the other news brewing in the sex world.

- Well, this isn’t exactly new news, but I found this awesome video of Eon Mckai and Kimberly Kane guest lecturing at UCBS last year.  Sigh, I love Current TV!

- One time porno god and original gay-for-pay star Jeff Stryker now only blows his load over zoning hearings… and by “blow his load,” I mean complain and sue.  He sure knows how to put the crotch in crotchety.  (via Fleshbot) 

- Taking charge after last week’s blog post about an annoying Big Girl’s Guid To Sex, The Frisky followed my example and came back with a list of actual ways to be happy in bed, whatever size you may be.

- I am totally smitten by these amazing mosaic pin ups.  Me likey!

-And speaking of art, I am so bummed I missed Catherine Opie’s exhibition at the Guggenheim.  See what she’s all about in this video from Velvet Park.  Totally worth a watch, even if you missed seeing her pieces live.  Sigh…
