Happy (late) Humpday! Welcome back to the mid-week stretch. Yes, it’s not actually Humpday, but flu management duty had me out of the office yesterday, so let’s just pretend that it is… It’s the first week of 2010! We made it! That also means that it’s the first full week back after two short weeks in a row, so this humpday totally needs some extra link loving to remind us that a full week can fly by too. We are also anxiously awaiting the AVN Awards (the Oscars of porn), which happens this weekend in Vegas, so let’s get to the link loving and kick the second half of this week into overdrive!

- Porn star Taryn Thomas already has a Jersey Shore porno parody in the works! A self proclaimed “Italian Guidette from New Jersey,” Thomas began the project as soon as she saw the MTV reality show. To be perfectly honest, I’m not sure how different this flick will be from both the real show, and from all the other porns featuring tan chicks with big boobs, lots of hair and a love for hot tubs…

- While a recent study found that 29% of British women admit that fitting into their old jeans would be better than sex, I actually prefer to look at it like Em and Lo – that 71% of British ladies aren’t putting their skinny pants above getting busy. I think it’s a much better statistic that way. Thanks ladies!

- Another study recently found that women may have lower sex drives due to guilt around being sexually aroused. WTF?! Sigh. It makes me so sad to think that there is still so much shame around female sexuality. It also makes me even happier to be a pleasure-based sex educator. (via Jezebel)
