Happy Hanukkah!  Welcome to the fifth night of the celebration.  Due to the lack of porno Hanukkah lovin’, this year I decided to up the ante for the festival of lights and create my own tribute to the chose tribe.  We’ve been shakin’ our shamash candles  (the candle that lights the rest) so far to some of the sexiest adult biz Jewz around, including Joanna Angel, James Deen, Ron Jeremy, Nina Hartley and Michael Lucas.

Tonight, on this 5th evening of the festival, we raise our latkes to old school porno powerhouse, Herschel Savage.

Born and raised in NYC, Savage (otherwise known as Herschel Cohen) made his way into the porno industry in the ’70s, becoming one of the biggest names of the time.  He was even in porno classic Debbie Does Dallas!  We are talkin’ the original rockstars of modern day adult.  Though Savage went back and forth between performing in porn and doing distribution, he has more than 1,000 porn flicks under his belt (literally!) and about ten years worth of awards and accolades celebrating him.  He may have been performing since before I was born, but that Hershel Savage is still rocking the porno stage like a champ more than 30 years later.
