April Flores’ Love Toy Art Show Recap

As I blogged repeatedly last week, April Flores and Carlos Batt’s Love Toy Art Show was in Philly this past weekend!  And of course I was there.

Hosted by EdenFantasys on the East Coast, the show featured a collection of painted plaster pussies cast from April Flores’ Voluptuous Cyberskin Pussy.   Going from plain white with a signature on the side, to all out sculpture decorated, these vibrant vulvae were seriously amazing.

Unfortunately April and Carlos arrived later due to crappy weather, so I never did get to actually meet them.  Sigh.  Oh well, the porn world isn’t that big.  I’m sure our paths will cross again.

Anyway, I had to share some of my absolute favorite pieces from the show.  Stupidly, I didn’t get some of the names/artists.  I was too busy looking at pretty pussies.  Sue me.  [Edit - I found the names online!]

So fitting.  So bright and detailed… but mostly so fitting.

How cool is this?  The little sculptures  are really cool… and apparently have their wangs out.  Check out this close up, sans penises.

“I Porked Her” by JoKa [Philly Artist!]

I didn’t get a picture of the side, but it was painted exactly like a ham, bone and all.  Somehow I knew this would be “bone-in.”

“Diamond In The Muff”  (By, from what I can read in the card, Carol Queen and a few others)

I just thought this one was super magical with all the gold.

Seriously, there were a ton of rad pieces in the show, but alas, I didn’t take pictures of all of them.  Again, I was distracted by the abundance of vag.  Can you blame me?

I was also luck enough to meet Victoria and the rest of the Eden folks, including Carrie Ann, and twitter followers ansleyagnello and her lady!

All in all, Saturday was fun, rainy and full of lots of fabulous art!
